It is "Magic Day" at the farm, the time of year when the grass grows faster than the cows can eat it, but for Pip Archer, the mood is far from celebratory. In a heartbreaking conversation with David, Pip reveals she has found a lump in her breast. While she tries to remain optimistic, David struggles to keep a "normal" front, especially as Pip grapples with whether to tell Ruth and potentially stir up painful memories.
