APM Music introduces Collaborative Projects
Build, edit, and share your music projects with your team.
No need to e-mail projects back and forth or share logins because collaborative projects are here!
Let’s walk you through how to use this feature most effectively.
First of all, what is a collaborative project?
It’s a shared music project where you and your teammates can gather tracks into a single playlist, together.
You can invite teammates to participate, see changes to the project in real time, and keep feedback from all parties in one place.
Let’s give it a try! It only takes three easy steps.
First, open up any existing project or create a new one. Then, click invite.
Here, you can add teammates and choose one of three roles for them:
Admins can manage team membership and roles. And, you can have multiple admins!
Contributors can view the team, manage tracks within a project, comment on them, and share and download content.
Read only means just that – they can listen to and download what’s in the project but can’t edit it.
Once you have the roles sorted out, you’re ready to listen to music!
Add tracks, reorder them, comment on them... collab with your team in real time.
A few notes: roles can be changed by an admin later, so it doesn’t have to be finalized immediately.
Worth mentioning again that you can have multiple admins on any given project.
And, maybe most importantly, you have to be logged in to your APM account to participate.
Got it? You’re ready to go!
