I still can’t believe this place in the Swiss Alps actually exists.
High above the valley, I take you to one of the most breathtaking locations in Switzerland — Grindelwald First. At 2,168 meters above sea level, this is where the mountains feel raw, open, and almost unreal. Standing on the edge of the cliff, with nothing but air and clouds below, you begin to understand why this is considered one of the most spectacular views in the world.

📍 Location: Grindelwald & Grindelwald First, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland
☀️ Weather: 21°C / 70°F

I begin this journey at First — one of the highest and most iconic viewpoints in the Swiss Alps. The famous cliff walk runs along the mountain edge, opening panoramic views across the Bernese Oberland and the surrounding peaks. This is not just a viewpoint — it’s a place where you truly feel the height, the exposure, and the silence of the mountains.

From there, I slowly descend into Grindelwald — a village that feels completely different. Traditional wooden chalets, green alpine meadows, and quiet streets create a calm contrast to the dramatic heights above. This transition from extreme altitude to peaceful village life is what makes this place truly unique.

Surrounded by legendary peaks like Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, this region is one of the most famous destinations in Switzerland. Whether you come for hiking, mountain views, or simply to experience authentic alpine life, this is where Switzerland reveals its true character.
