Uh, Chris Evans, my man, Chris Evans, as we all know, he is
returning, uh, for avengers doomsday.
Uh, still very excited.
In fact, here, we'll play the clip.
I, uh, but Chris Evans was recently doing an interview on
Instagram of all places.
And he revealed this, this is, this wasn't the interviewee.
This was just a fan who recorded it for us.
So don't, don't be rude to her.
Just, just ignore her.
And it sounds like you want some avengers secrets.
I can't give secrets.
It can't, what can I give you though?
I can tell you that I start work on the next one in a couple of months.
Um, so I'm in the next one.
There's that which kind of, there we go.
Chris Evans himself confirms he starts work on the next movie and that
he's going to be in the next one.
All right.
I don't think much of a surprise, right?
I think once they confirmed Steve Rogers was in doomsday.
Well, I kind of assumed he'd see it through to secret wars.
I is just a big character and one of the most memorable faces in the MCU.
He got to have them there.
I totally get some of the people worried and complaining that it's like,
then what's the point of Sam Wilson?
Why would they give him the shield?
Why would they do all this to make him captain America only to undermine him
and bring back OG captain America?
I don't think it's going to work just quite in that way.
And some of the reports from people say Steve Rogers is in it, but
he's not exactly captain America.
He'll still be like helping and all that, but it's not like he's
going to put on the uniform, hold the shield and be like, Avengers.
Assemble.
I, it looks like he's still involved in some capacity, but we'll
be more of a nomad role, right?
Okay.
Whatever the case.
Uh, I'm, I'm cool with it.
I still like it.
I want to see how, how it plays out and really just how they
wrap this entire story up.
Uh, I would want to see Steve Rogers interact with the Toby
McGuire or Hugh Jackman or whoever else they got.
Um, I didn't expect him to die in doomsday.
Uh, will he die in secret wars?
That's a whole different thing.
Cause I'm still curious about how they go about.
Um, how do I say it?
Rebooting, uh, the, the MCU, what is this soft reboot?
What is this like boom and flash where everything is in one world now?
And we just move forward.
Does that world still have him as Chris, uh, as captain America, or
did he die as an old man and that storyline continues, right?
Like, what does that mean?
Also given his importance for doomsday.
Cause we've heard it before that technically, uh, Avengers doomsday
is supposed to be, uh, like a sequel to Avengers end game and the
repercussions, uh, of Steve Rogers traveling with the infinity stones
and getting his happy ending is a direct causation of the multiverse
collapsing and doom believes, uh, he's at fault for that.
So yeah, you want to see the through and, and if the, the, that was real
and he did have consequences, I'd want to see Steve Rogers face those
consequences, right?
Uh, cameo fest possibly, but if he's an actual supporting character or
lead, not really a cameo, that's just part of the story, right?
That's, that's just what you got to go on.
Right.
I wouldn't say cameo, um, Avengers secrets.
Okay.
All right.
That's, that's one way to go with it.
Uh, Oh, Juan edits.
Thank you so much, buddy.
Appreciate you being here.
Um, so yeah, I also just wonder then do we have Robert
Downey jr.
Come back as iron man yet.
Will he also just still be Dr.
Doom?
How does that work?
James Marsden also made some, some kind of interesting, uh, comments.
James Mars, dead James Mars bar should have been his name.
Uh, but he said here, James Marsden talks about Hugh Jackman's
absence in Avengers doomsday.
He says, I love the dynamic between Wolverine and Cyclops.
It was always a healthy brotherly rivalry between them
where they'd rib each other.
I wouldn't say I was thrilled to take on that role without
him barking in my ear.
Uh, he was saying that he he's glad he got to come back, but he really
wishes he got some scenes with Hugh or that Hugh was there to
have those scenes with them.
If you know anything that we've been hearing Hugh Jackman is
supposed to be in doomsday.
He looks like he's supposed to be one of the big parts of the
opening of this movie, which I still hope is real.
Even if we've gotten so many mixed up, um, reports on how that's
supposed to happen, he was still supposed to be in the movie.
I think that's where you save that then for secret wars, right?
They made a big deal.
If this is still the Hugh Jackman, the same Wolverine from Deadpool
and Wolverine, they made a pretty big deal.
You know that this Wolverine lost all his X-Men, all his fellow
mutants, I feel like him having that reunion with those characters
again would mean a lot to him, would bring some sort of satisfaction
to him to see that there are, even though the multiverse characters,
but it would do something to them.
Maybe they build up to that.
I do believe James Marsden when he says he doesn't have any
scenes with Wolverine, but it's like, okay, we, we got, we got
to have them in secret wars, right?
I want to see Cyclops next to a Wolverine doing something,
but that's the other case.
There's also so many other interactions and things I want to have happen.
I still want Andrew to be a part of these movies somehow.
That was another interview that went down.
Let me see if I can bring that one up.
Cause it's again, that Andrew Garfield.
Uh, sensibility of just like Andrew Garfield, see grit wars.
Uh, he did this interview and I was like, Oh, is it, is he the werewolf again?
Okay.
Here we go.
I love Josh Horwitz.
He does such a great interviewer.
Okay.
Grit wars.
Okay.
Here's my theory.
I'm going to probably see you in secret wars.
Okay.
I'm going to see you in secret wars.
And what I'm excited about, the body language experts are going to come out.
Andrew, careful.
See, what is this?
Is this a tell?
Or what is it?
You'll find out whatever response I'm having.
Is it exasperation?
Is it?
I don't know.
You'll find out.
I would be excited to see you mix it up with some new like you and Hugh Jackman would be
amazing.
Yeah.
I love Hugh Jackman.
Yeah.
Is there anybody like it?
Like we don't know, but like that, you would be excited to mix it up with it.
Now that you're in the MCU.
I don't know.
I mean, I don't know.
I really love the spider verse movies.
You know, I love a Lord and Miller.
Just putting that out there.
I love Wolverine.
I love Hugh.
Tom Hardy is obviously a really formidable actor.
And what he's done with Venom is super fun.
And I disagree with you.
I'm up for a good time.
All right.
So and that's all.
And to me, it's hard because now we've gone through it where Andrew was like, I'm not
in the movie.
I'm not the werewolf.
Stop it.
And all that.
And he's just enjoying it, having fun.
I think he is definitely in secret wars.
He's got to be in there.
It's interesting.
The projects or the people he would like to interact with, you know, he mentioned the
spider verse movies, the spider verse movies did have like cameos or I guess film clips
from the Andrew Garfield.
Also, the Tobey movies.
And do that be the next best thing?
We had no way home.
I would love it if somehow in animated form.
I wouldn't I wouldn't want it live action the way they did Donald Glover, but I would
want like an animated Andrew Garfield Spider-Man popping in there for a few seconds to help
miles in whatever situation he would.
He said Hugh Jackman.
Now, the other person he said, Tom Hardy Venom.
I don't even know if that's him so much as he's probably just heard endlessly how bad
people wanted Tom Hardy's Venom to be in the Amazing Spider-Man universe, because it feels
like that's the one that most fits with the style and tone out of all the other Spider-Man
characters.
And although I'm not a big fan of the Venom movies, I would have just like to have seen
it just to have had it happen.
We also got to talk about there's this joke.
They got to complete in no way home.
Andrew literally says, oh, I want to fight an alien.
I wish I fought an alien.
Russo brothers have always been great about calling back jokes like that, getting back
to things like that, having him in Secret Wars and having him punch an alien and then
yelling at Tom from across the planet going.
I finally fought an alien.
Dude, that's that's clap worthy moment, right?
So we'll see a lot of interesting things, a lot of characters that might might not be
in there throwing it off to you guys.
What do you think of Chris Evans of Hugh Jackman, James Marsden and this Andrew Garfield stuff?
Would love to hear it down below.
