HIGHLIGHTS Venezuela vs Trinidad and Tobago FIFA Series 2026

Welcome along to the 2026 FIFA series here in Uzbekistan. Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago set to face off in the Uzbek city of Tashkent. And there's an opportunity here and a penalty after 41 seconds. It is the captain Garcia who will step up and he's saved! And what an opening we have here. Muket is quick to close him down. Now Levi Garcia twisting and turning to the byline. Can he get a ball across? Yes he can and it's turned home and that is the breakthrough. 51 minutes gone. Rion Moore turns home his 11th international goal. Opportunity though before those changes are made here for Venezuela to get forward and fired home and that is the equaliser for Delfin Alphonse. Just too sharp there as he steps away. Lovely rolled ball into his pass by Lika Mendoza. Mendoza's floated back over to his left-hand side with Segovia coming on and Girate will try and feed it across for Rondon but it falls here for Alphonso and the debutant at the double for Venezuela. And the ball over the top in behind here and Rondon's in. Can he finish? Can he seal the result? Salomon Rondon cool, calm and collected as he steers home his 49th international goal. Now Sosa he's got runners right and left of him here. He'll try and curl that in first time towards Rondon and a landmark goal for the 36 year old. And so that is the full-time whistle and it's the start that Venezuela would have wanted and probably expected.
