When furniture designers Barbara and Robert “Tiff” Tiffany purchased a 10,500-square-foot historic grain and saw mill over thirty years ago, they had no idea what they were in for. The steep, shaded ravine was overrun with invasive bamboo and badly degraded soil—a far cry from the lush paradise it would become. But as Barbara began clearing the land, she also began cultivating a deep fascination for rare and unusual plants from around the world.

Over time, with Tiff’s craftsmanship and the help of a dedicated team, the property evolved into The Garden at Mill Fleurs—a lush shade garden layered with texture, foliage color, and botanical diversity.
