♫ GOODBYE, MO SALAH... | Liverpool Song

Music Music Football Walking down the tunnel hearing justice for the 97 You turned a rainy Wednesday into a piece of heaven In 2017 you arrived to take the crown Never let the pressure or the critics pull you down From minnows gone to money to the trios turned to dust You were the last one standing of the few we trust Three times player of the season your trophies don't lie But it's the joy you gave the fans that makes us wanna cry The heartbreaks keep on coming season after season Losing you feels like a crime without a single reason But you're leaving the floor while the crowd is still clapping While the defenders are still scared of what's happening Mo Salah goodbye my Egyptian king To the city of Liverpool you gave everything A statue for the legend put it right by the gate The greatest we seen it was written in faith Mo Salah thank you for the legend you are A story that my kids will hear while I play guitar The pharaoh who became the greatest in our eyes King Salah good luck in your life More than just a legend for the red and white kid A premier league titan every record you hit You showed the whole world how a king should behave All the goals at the cop built the path that you paved I'll forever love you Mo thank you for the time Watching you play was like a beautiful rhyme But now the desert's calling or a different shore And the red number 11 won't be the same anymore What is going on the icons fade out No more Salah on the wing no more running down the wing Just the silence and good memory Mo Salah goodbye my Egyptian king To the city of Liverpool you gave everything A statue for the legend put it right by the gate The greatest we seen it was written in faith Mo Salah thank you for the legend you are A story that my kids will hear while I play guitar The pharaoh who became the greatest in our eyes King Salah good luck in your life
