To be ankered in front of the Islands and going out to the Darwin's Arch in the morning, jumping in and just beeing there is a wonderful feeling. You never know what showes up.

Wolf and Darwin are well-known names to most divers.
It's about 100 miles to the north, two rocks completely by itself.
I don't know much about birds, but what's going on here, especially with the red-footed
boobies is amazing.
It's a bit of a downer that one of the boobies crashed our drone when I was trying to get
the whale shark in the picture that was just around the boat.
So I was floating above the water, just trying to get a good shot, and then one of the boobies
just got a little bit too curious and eventually caused the drone to crash into the water.
It's hard to say, but it was worth it.
The feeling to anchor in front of the islands and going out to the Darwin's Arch in the
morning, jump in, just being there waiting for whatever might come up, will there be
hammerheads, whale sharks, or dolphins, or whatever, is just a fantastic feeling.
And even here, it can happen anytime that the sea lion shows up to play with you.
And I would have a big smile on my face, thinking, hey guys, you are just so cool.
The hammerheads, what this spot is famous for, they'll be active when there is strong
current, which we didn't really have, unfortunately.
What we had were the hammerheads coming over the reef.
They're very shy, so eventually they come a little bit closer, maybe a bit closer, and
then they get off.
But we had constantly hammerheads on our dives.
And if the current is strong enough, it looks like this.
It's quite impressive how many hammerheads show up.
Sometimes more than a couple of hundreds.
So they come and patrol along the reef and check out the different cleaning stations.
So in the end, when the air is getting low, you turn towards the blue.
And that's the real magical part of the dive, because you never know what shows up.
And then, once you've finished, you just float and get up, and the punga will pick you up.
