We’ll start with the Bed Head heat protectant. It’s very lightweight and airy, which makes it perfect for natural hair. My model’s hair today is natural, even though at first glance it may look lightened.
First, I want to show you what happens if you don’t curl the entire head and don’t prepare the hair before building the bun. If you watch Reels, it can sometimes give you the false impression that everything is easy. You might think the hair already looks straight enough and thick enough, so you can just start putting the bun together without any prep.
But look what happens when you actually try to build the bun. The hair is natural and very slippery.
