Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. After being cooped up for months
and deprived of the outdoors, the moment camping's allowed,
I wasted no time and immediately packed up my gears
and hit the road. Hungry, hungry, hungry. All the way to the main road and I
thought, you know what? Instead of making the ridge richer, I'm
gonna just, you know, support the local economy. So
roadside stall. There was a makcik selling some local kuih. So I got myself some
pisang goreng and kuih durian.
So much better than McD.
Feels so good to be back here in Kenauboy Adventure Camp.
We're gonna go gather some wood before it rains.
Guess what guys? I received a gift from the campsite owner, Tok Noa. How crazy
awesome is that? Always wanted one of these. Super stoked.
Let's try it out. I've always wanted to pick up some basic outdoor survivor
skills and learning how to use a parang is top
on the list. However, as you guys could tell,
I am a complete beginner with zero skill. But well, we all have to start
somewhere. I am extremely excited to embark on this
learning experience. And a reminder of what Tok Noa said to me,
safety first, respect your tool, and don't try to be a ninja.
Later that evening, I hopped on a truck with Tok Noa and his friend
and we went exploring the area not too far from the campsite.
It's small, but there's a lot of them.

Soon the sun started to set and we made our way back to camp.
The moment we arrived at the campsite, we wasted no time
and started feasting on our precious harvested
durian. It was time to cool off in the refreshing river water and enjoy a
little bit of me time.
After the durian feast that we had in the evening,
so I didn't want to have anything too heavy for dinner.
Hence the instant noodles. Got a good fire going.
Very good amber in fact. Too bad I'm not doing any barbecue.
Morning guys! I'm going to make something really special today.
I've got some chopped onions and garlic, curry leaves, chili,
potatoes, carrot, tomato, and I am gonna make green curry.
Oh yes.
Durian kampung.
Putan.
Durian putan?
Okay, Tok Noa.
Later in the evening, the campsite owner Tok Noa
found out that I've been interested to learn some basic outdoor survivor skills.
With decades of experience in the thick dense
rainforest, he decided to teach me a thing or two.
He taught me the basics of how to utilize bamboos.
Then we waded across the river, went into the woods,
got to know some wild plants, sourcing drinking water out of plants,
finding edibles, using natural resources to create tools, and the list goes on.
Get this as a fishing pole. And the evening
ended with some fishing action. If you'd like to see more of what I've learned
from the master of the jungle, do stay tuned for the next video
where I will be showing more details of this mini little survival boot camp.
So I did not cook dinner tonight because my pet neighbor invited me over for dinner
and I had amazing amazing barbecue mutton. That was great.
Well, it was a long day but a very fruitful and wholesome one.
My heart is full and I'm ready to retire today.
Called it off after the rain. I had my breakfast and I was just
lying down here, just enjoying the sound of the rain,
enjoying the pitter-patter, and then I fell asleep. I really don't want to
leave. I wish I could just lay down here forever
but it's day three now and I have to pack and leave.
The weather is making me very sleepy. That is all for today's episode.
I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, don't forget to like,

Buying me a coffee would really help me make more content
for you guys. I would like to end this video
by showing you a painful painful clip of me trying very hard to open up this
durian hutang.
