The Gyeongju APEC Hanbok Fashion Show… From Silla to AI Hanbok

The fashion show was divided into three themes: "Silla Royal Clothing," "APEC Commemorative Hanbok," and "AI Hanbok." The Silla Royal Clothing recreated royal attire with gold thread embroidery and elaborate accessories, reviving the millennia-old elegance of the ancient capital with a modern twist. Designer Lee Jin-hee's "AI Hanbok" utilized artificial intelligence to infuse traditional beauty with a futuristic sensibility. Crafted by master craftsmen Gu Hye-ja and Kang Mi-ja, the "APEC Commemorative Hanbok" woven Hangul and cloud patterns onto silk, blending the five cardinal colors with the symbolic colors of each country to embody the message of "APEC Connected Through Culture."
