This is my official audition to become your comfort vlogger in 2026.
This week we are doing a true week in the life as a serial hobbyist.
As a serial hobbyist myself nothing makes me come more alive than needlepoint mahjong
dinner parties and we are doing all of that in this vlog.
We're going on a stitch retreat, Molly's in town visiting.
I am hosting a serial hobbyist dinner party where all my friends have to come
dress as their favorite hobby.
I mean, it is just absolutely fabulous.
Honestly, I think this is the perfect vlog.
So I hope you guys enjoy and let's get started.
Hi y'all, I'm so excited.
We are about to head off to our stitch retreat.
It's me, Molly.
Molly's in town, which backstory if you guys are new to the vlogs.
Molly's one of my best friends.
She's in town right now visiting.
She lives in Rhode Island and we were neighbors, not neighbors, we were roommates in LA.
We've been friends since we were 16.
Anyway, come on, we were like sisters, like cousins if you will.
You know, we're like complete opposites but the same.
Anyway, oh, also for the Molly Bailey vlog viewers, I did just hear her vlogging in the
other room so I do think we're getting a vlog out of this week and if I do anything this
week it will be to get Molly Bailey back on YouTube consistently.
Anyway, we're about to head out.
I have my bag packed.
It's gonna be me, Molly, Harrison, and Caroline, his little sister.
If you guys didn't watch the podcast episode, you should, of us prepping for this.
It was me, Harrison, and Caroline because Molly hadn't gotten to town yet.
It's our little slumber party episode and it's everything.
So I have my bag actually packed and I'm ready to go.
I need to get the rest of my needlepoint stuff ready.
We're actually gonna stop at the grocery store on the way and then we're gonna stop at the
needlepoint shop because you never know.
One, I need to kit a bunch of stuff for Myga and two, maybe Molly wants a different canvas
or something new and she needs to experience it.
Also, big, big, big life update, my bag, guys.
I got this on Rebag.
If you guys followed this saga on my Instagram story, last Sunday, Charlie and I, we were
at Honor Bar at 11 a.m. to get some lunch or some brunch.
I'm not a brunch person.
We were getting lunch.
Anyway, there was a wait.
So I was like, let's just stop at Chanel.
I wanna see these sunglasses.
Like, I didn't think I was actually gonna buy them but I've been seeing them and I just
wanted to try them on and see if I like them, right?
Then that was closed.
I looked up the hours and in the meantime, when I looked up the hours, this bag on Rebag
came up and if you guys, like, I'm obsessed with butter yellow.
I just love it and this came up and I was like, oh my god, greatest bag ever.
I have to get it, obviously.
Then, um, I posted on my Instagram story.
I was like, I can't- guys, do you hear how long my dryer goes off?
Like, what is wrong with that?
It's a full song.
It's like a concert.
I'll hold.
Okay.
Oh, guys.
Anyway, um, I posted on my Instagram story and I was like, I can't buy this but like
someone needs to.
It's so good and then I went and I had half a sip of margarita and I was like, I'm buying
it, done.
So I did buy it.
Then after, there was some drama because I got the bag and then the photos were butter
yellow and then it was listed as pink and I was like, wait, I didn't even notice that
and I bought it and everyone's like, wait, why did it say the bag is pink?
Anyway, long story short, we think it was just painted because, like, the interior is
pink and, like, there is a little bit of wear here.
Like, just a little bit but, like, I don't care.
I got such a good deal on this bag.
It's a jumbo flap and my other, like, flap bag is the size below.
It holds so much stuff and, like, this is my most perfect summer bag.
Speaking of, I have been shopping in, like, an uncontrollable manner recently and I am
so sorry for the people that that, like, triggers.
I am actually, unfortunately, gonna have to stop just because I can't continue to do this
but anyway, I got this bag which is also partially for, like, a shoot that we have coming up
and that's how I justified it.
I also, I just got that grape bag recently, the grape clutch.
Let me show you in case you guys are new here and then I'll stop being so, you know, materialistic
but this thing, obsessed.
I took this on the town for the first night the other night.
She's everything.
Okay, anyway, I got this bag from Venn and I am obsessed.
It's a little clutch and it's a tomato and it does have a strap.
I actually don't really love the strap.
I like it just, like, holding it as a clutch and I just, like, don't love.
I'll show you the strap.
I knew about buying it but, like, this just isn't, like, what I would want to put with
the tomato necessarily.
I mean, maybe depending on how I'm styling the outfit but I have some other ideas of
what I'm gonna do but I also just kind of want to hold it and I just think it is the
coolest thing ever.
Like, I'm looking at my wardrobe more.
I'm a collector now.
Like, it's not shopping, it's collecting, you know?
So, anyway, with all that being said, we're ready to go.
I have my bag ready.
This bag, this tote bag, I've had for, like, five years.
It's from Little Leifner.
I think that's how you say it?
Liffner?
Leifner?
This brown suede bag and I use it all the time.
It's the best bag ever.
Fits everything.
So, anyway, off we go.
I'm so excited.
We're going to Broken Bow.
I don't think I even said that so we've got, like, a three-hour road trip today and it's
just gonna be the best thing ever.
I'm seriously over the moon.
We're doing some grocery shopping for Harrison and we're terrified.
Can we get in over there?
Yeah, I think so.
Imagine grocery shopping for Harrison Wallace.
Like, this is actually my nightmare.
We should have never asked him to eat anything.
I'm so scared.
Good quality.
The highest quality ever.
I need to, like, we were talking, he needs chicken.
I'm like, I need to go kill the kitchen.
Like, chicken myself and skin it.
Like, it's not gonna be fresh enough for him.
Oh, thank god he noticed that.
Oh, they don't have any normal?
Oh my god, we're already failing.
And we don't know how much he needs of these things.
He didn't clarify how much.
I'm, like, literally gonna freak out.
I don't know.
I don't know what's better, garlic and herb or...
Oh, this looks good.
I know, I thought that looked good.
Yeah.
We're getting really sidetracked here.
Okay, garlic and herb or honey.
Let's just do both and just say that's what they had.
Because at least, yeah, we got the options that we were dealt.
Wait, wait, wait, look at this.
Wait, this is crumbles.
Do you think he needs...
Oh god, he didn't clarify.
Get that, too.
Okay, what's next?
Oh, yeah, let me reference the list.
Limes, lemons, mint.
Look at how perfectly this is set up.
Lime and vermicelli.
Oh, look at the bunnies.
Limes?
Good.
Did you say lemons?
Yeah, limes.
Remember when we moved to LA, we couldn't even, like, cook?
Yeah, we literally got we're taught by someone how to cook chicken.
And I needed a tutorial.
A tutorial for rice-a-roni?
Yes, yes.
We used to look up how to cook chicken on the frying pan tutorials.
And we would watch them.
And then we found the best one, and we just kept watching that one over and over again.
And the instructions were put oil in a pan and put the chicken in the pan.
Which one?
That looks good, though.
I think that's okay.
That looks good.
But it's not organic.
It's not, it's not the, like, sheen-est looking.
No, it's not sheen.
And Harrison doesn't really, like, he's not, like, an organic.
Okay, good.
But, like, he would, he just, I think he just, so what's other more expensive?
We need, that's what, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, I got it.
We need this.
Oh, yes.
This is, like, a five, just five minutes, and I was freaking out.
Yeah, a lot more stuff.
Thank you.
Oh, no, they don't have that.
I'm literally so scared of Harrison.
Molly, how do you think we did?
I mean, probably just.
He's gonna inspect everything, and it's all gonna be bad.
He's gonna be like, this was all they had.
It's not a real street.
Oh, my gosh, it's so, oh, is it not?
Airbnb.
I think there's someone in here, or, like, they didn't clean or something.
I'm, like, scared.
Don't freak out, don't freak out.
But, like, it's, like, okay, like, all the doors are open.
Okay, the bowls are supposed to be here, but, like, the bedding.
Let's see, let's see.
Oh, wait, Kenzie, this is kind of weird.
It looks like someone, like, left in a rush.
Yeah, like, I'm, like, the beds are all, like.
It looks like someone was in the middle of cleaning the whole place, and then they had
to rush out.
They had to run out.
Yeah, like, I'm, like, judging.
Like, it clearly, like, I think someone was leaving, and they left it for, like, the person
to come clean, and they didn't clean because, like, the sheets are in there.
But, it's, like, it is weird because.
Update, y'all, we made it to Broken Bow.
So, as you guys just saw, we walked in.
I thought people, like, I thought we walked into someone else's cabin somehow, and then
I thought something bad happened.
I was, like, why is there someone laying in the bed?
Then I realized it was just sheets and blankets, and we've realized that the cleaning team
just thought, like, check in with us tomorrow, so they just, like, for all to, like, or didn't
clean this because they thought they were doing it later or whatever.
So, anyway, they're on their way now.
We were, like, fully.
We've been doing half their work, so honestly.
Yeah, I know.
It's going to be a really easy clean because we've already started.
We were, like, door-dashing laundry detergent.
Oh, we should probably tell them they don't have laundry detergent on the way, actually.
I'll text them.
True, true.
We were just door-dashing.
There's nothing to door-dash from here, though, but anyway.
I mean, honestly, it's just been funny, but here is our little tour.
I'll give you guys a little look at the front door.
I kind of, like, am sad that we're not the ones doing the laundry.
Like, it would have been funnier.
I know.
We were having a good time.
So, anyway.
Oh, wow.
This cabin looks really massive from here.
It looks.
Wow.
Okay, so you walk in.
Here we go.
Here's a little living area.
It's a kitchen.
Nice, nice kitchen.
Great lighting.
That's how you know Harrison booked this.
And then out here, I'm actually going to put our mahjong set up.
I'm going to set this up up here.
How cute.
And then we have a hot tub, hammocks, Blackstone TV out here, which will be fabulous for our
hot tub viewing later.
Then back out here, these chairs would be so nice to needlepoint on.
Looking forward to that.
Okay, so here's where the issues arise.
This is where it started.
So, I already started to strip the bed because we were trying to do the laundry, as you guys
can see.
And there is no laundry detergent here.
So, we have this.
This is going to be Harrison and Caroline's room.
Really nice, spacious bathroom.
Oh, my God.
I'm so jealous of this bathtub.
Wow.
I'm actually really jealous, but he did book this.
So, that's how things go.
So, anyway.
Then, you guys.
Okay, so more issues arise over here too, which actually.
Well, we tried to start, but it's weird though.
Okay, they must have just put stuff to start a load before they left.
The last guest, I think.
And then, in here is our bedroom and bathroom.
Cute.
Harrison is like cooking all weekend.
He has so many things.
We actually need to store it at McDonald's.
And like, Molly, we didn't even think about it.
Like, what if it arrives when he gets here?
I know, he's going to be like throwing that in.
No, we were just starving and we were going to eat really quickly and then throw it away
and then throw that trash bag away so he wouldn't know.
Oh, no.
It's okay.
I will eat anything.
I'm just so hungry.
And that's that.
So, what an eventful time.
Honestly, like, just nothing can go right for us ever.
Like, and I've been having a fabulous time.
This is so us, Cody.
This is so us.
Guys, of course, the DoorDash just got delayed like 45 minutes.
And now, it's going to arrive as soon as Harrison and Carolina are arriving.
Like, literally at the exact same time.
The literal same moment.
Like, they're going to pull up together.
Maybe they'll be distracted.
I'm going to say, really, I just felt so bad for them.
Like, they forgot to clean this.
And like, they would be hungry.
We thought they would want a spicy McChicken, obviously.
Wow, guys, Harrison and Carolina have arrived.
And he knows about the McDonald's and he doesn't even care.
He said he's going to have some too.
I'm on vacation.
Yeah, on vacation.
I'm on vacation.
We have our Hugo Spritz.
And I prepped the Caesar.
Prepped it last night.
There's extra if anybody wants to, like, dip.
Okay, this is who you're dealing with, first of all.
This is crazy, guys.
RL&S, they have needlepoint name tags.
And they made one for Harrison.
I'm going to go work a shift.
I'm going to clock in and work my shift is what I need to go and do.
My favorite thing with Harrison is when I go,
Harrison, how are you with authority?
It was horrible.
I want nothing to do with it.
I want Harrison to, oh, to develop, like, his own cooking class curriculum for, like,
Sir LaTav or something.
It'd be so good.
That'd be a really, really fun thing to do.
Oh my god, imagine you, but like, on, um...
Oh, you know what you should do?
What's that app where they, like, this Sleepytime bed stories?
Oh, Calm?
Calm, yes.
Yes, and you could do a large, even with Hatch,
you and Alexa Fieldcore could do a little collaboration.
Oh, sorry, sorry.
Not Espresso.
The formulas are off.
Sorry, I'm so ******* sorry, guys.
Guys, Santa brought presents!
Needlepoint present time!
Ready?
Ready!
I know what it is!
You know what it is?
Is it a stretcher bar?
Just open it and shut up.
Okay, sorry, yeah.
Wait, hold on.
It's kind of wedged in there because the project bag is small.
Wait!
How did you even put that in there?
Where are these from?
Wait.
Those are the Sunday Shoppe Ort bowls.
A pretty Ort bowl.
A little pretty Ort bowl.
This is stunning.
This will look so cute in my little needlepoint nook.
Wouldn't it be perfect?
These are the new stretcher bars.
Oh, you got good threaders!
And the good needle threaders.
This is amazing.
I haven't even seen these.
Where'd you get these from?
Amazon.
They're pill containers.
Amazing!
But I used mine because like the big compartment will fit a pair of small scissors.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
So cute.
Thanks so much, Harrison.
You're welcome.
Project bags.
And I gotta show y'all.
So I ordered these for us, but they're not here yet.
Okay.
So I'll give them.
I'll mail yours to you, Molly, or give it to Kenzie because it comes in pretty soon.
But everyone's getting one of these Camp Needlepoint needle binders.
Oh, that's so cute.
Aren't those so adorable?
Those are cute.
I know.
Camp Needlepoint.
It's Camp Needlepoint.
Thanks so much, Harrison.
You're so welcome.
You are so welcome.
These are cute.
These Sunday Shoppe bowls.
I know.
And I have like the boxes and the paper for the bowls to get up home.
So nothing will break in your suitcase.
He thinks about me.
I do.
This is really cute.
Thank you so much, Harrison.
You're so welcome, you guys.
You are so welcome.
We had to have present time.
Obviously.
It's what he lives for.
It is.
I do live for present.
All right, y'all.
It is now 2.47 p.m.
We've been sitting on the couch needlepointing all day.
We're gonna do a little whip.
This is what I've been working on all day.
Even, I mean, I literally brought one project out because I want this one to be done.
So I did, what did I do?
I did all this green up here and then more of this blue.
I'm moving on to the blue here.
It really, it looks like I haven't done much.
But like I've really been hard at work in the background.
It's just taking quite some time.
But I want to have this done by the end of next month.
So anyway, I don't have like that much of the background here left.
The border I still have to do.
But I'm moving on to kind of just change it up a little bit.
And it's stunning.
All right, Molly.
Hi, friends.
It's been a while since I've been on Kenzie's vlogs.
This is mine.
I have little kissing bunnies.
She did some velvet, which is stunning.
Sparkly on the little collars.
And I'm working on all the yellow, which I've made a lot of progress.
I'm going all around here.
I'm gonna do a little zoom in.
It looks so good.
You're really almost done.
I'm almost done.
It's so cute.
All right, Harrison.
I'll get up.
All right.
So I'm still working on my chocolate cake from Lysette's.
Top of the cake is done.
My like frosting and the sparkly detail is done.
Now I'm just doing a brick stitch for the slices of cake.
And then I get to be so...
The bead's gonna be insane.
The beads are gonna be crazy.
They're gonna go all these little intersections.
It's gonna be unbelievable.
So yeah.
Love this.
So I've been working on my Fifa.
So we're currently working on Fi.
We have the text done.
And then we're going in with this like really pretty like Merlot color from Silk and Ivory.
So good.
And then I also took a little break from just the straight basket weaving
and working on my little pizza.
She's almost done.
I just have to finish my little pepperonis.
And then we're done there.
But I have a little velvet sauce.
Super fun.
It's looking amazing.
We made it to the liquor store.
So fabulous.
There's a lot of options.
A load of love.
We'll let Harrison take the lead.
Surprise, surprise.
Harrison, I'm so good with anything.
It's time for two options.
Let's do LaMarca.
All right, it's spritz time.
Spritz time.
We're taking a little Modge break.
Crappiest night ever.
Look at it.
Harrison, I just...
Oh wow.
I'm struggling.
Struggling.
These look amazing though.
You know, we're making do, baby.
Goat cheese pepper jelly.
Wow, this is looking so beautiful.
It's hot dog night.
Hot dog night.
Oh my gosh, it looks amazing.
Happy Monday, y'all.
We had the best Sunday ever.
And I'm back.
I'm so happy because I'm finally setting my Easter table.
And it's gonna look amazing.
I actually, full transparency, did already set this last night.
Because it is a deal for McKenzie Child.
But I have all this stuff.
It's actually beautiful.
I'm mid-filming setting the table again.
Yesterday was a trial.
It looks so good.
These are Amazon fake flowers.
These are Anthropologie little cabbage pots.
I love having books at the dining table, just making it cozier.
And this tablecloth and the actual napkins are Anthropologie.
But guys, I'm just in love.
I did the lilac check in the tartan, which I'm obsessed with.
Look at this.
It is going to be everything.
All right, y'all.
Here is the final Easter table.
I am in love with it.
I actually need to charge that lamp.
This one came charged, which is really nice.
I mean, that one actually came charged too.
It's just obviously more powerful.
But anyway, this is my favorite table yet.
I was saying this to Molly yesterday.
That the way that I set a table, it feels like putting together an outfit.
It's one of my favorite things to do.
And now I'm really into my outfits these days, as you guys know.
But anyway, we'll start over here.
I have this little situation.
This is the lilac check from McKenzie Childs.
And then I also use the tartan.
I love to stack patterns.
I just love pattern after pattern after pattern.
So I'm mixing all the patterns, and I like to stack them as plates.
So cute.
And then also, I got the lilac and smaller ones.
The thing about McKenzie Childs, it's so nice.
You can always use this stuff outside.
But I figured I would use these more in my garden or outside in the patio area.
For springtime, when these are just a really perfect size for a little appetizer moment,
a little spritz moment, whatever it might be.
So anyway, that's lilac check.
And I have this cute little bunny.
And then I also have the one that's sitting.
I think those are adorable.
The actual tablecloth and napkins, you guys have seen this from Anthropologie.
I got these napkin rings.
I just found them all on eBay.
And I ordered, I actually do think I have 30.
I said 30, and that feels crazy.
But I actually do think I did, just because they're so me.
And I wanted to have them forever, in case some of them break or something.
I got a really good deal on them.
But love that.
I love to have books on top of the table.
It just makes it feel a lot more cozy and at home.
So I have some cookbooks up here, just also to give heightened dimension.
Then I swapped out the vases, and we're using these cabbage pots from Anthropologie.
I love them.
These also are amazing.
These are super seasonal.
It looks very spring, yes, and it thrives in the spring.
But you can style these a billion different ways and make them work for literally every
single season.
That's why cabbage stuff does so well, because you can just always, always, always use it.
The bowls in here that I use all the time, the Staub ones that are like artichoke things,
it's kind of like the same thing.
So anyway, loving this.
And then I love the little mini lamps.
I love a mini lamp on a table.
It just adds so much warmth.
And this is the situation.
But I'm obsessed.
I think this is my favorite table ever.
I've said it a hundred times today, but like, I, oh my god, I'm just, I love it so much.
Also y'all, Charlie makes these burger bowls, and they're like actually the greatest thing
I've ever had in my life.
It's my favorite lunch.
And it's so simple.
But like, this is to remind me that burger bowls exist.
And then you need a Primal Kitchen special sauce.
We recently started adding them to the burger bowls, and they're amazing.
Oh, you know, I also have this that I've been meaning to wear, and I'm going to wear,
so maybe I should change my outfit.
Okay, let's see.
Oh, I'm loving this.
Oh, was I just blocking the camera the whole time?
I thought the camera was over here, but where is it?
It's just always somebody, you know?
Yeah, it was hidden.
This is good.
Okay.
All right, can you help me?
What should I wear?
Of course I can.
What do you recommend with this?
Because this is a lot going on.
I have a navy.
It's just some stripes.
It's a lot going on.
It's a lot.
I have ballet flats on and stripes right now, you guys.
Like, this is so wild for me.
Do you want a black coat?
Do you think black coats look amazing?
Well, I have a navy one, but I don't know where the navy one goes.
Is it this?
I don't know if I can wear a long coat.
Okay, so you need short.
Do you know where I am?
Well, short is here.
All right.
So then we look in this area.
I've got a trench that's not long, but it's not super short.
I also have...
Well, I have one that is short, like that.
Oh, I think that's perfect.
Okay.
But let me know if you think it's warm enough.
Well, I don't think I need...
I mean, it's only 40.
Exactly.
I don't think I need that much warmth.
I think I just need, like...
I just be dramatic.
No, but yours is cute.
I feel like it's not, like, too thick.
Yeah, it's kind of just like the perfect...
And the yellow is perfect.
Yellow is perfect.
I don't know, guys.
I am at a level of...
I'm sorry, guys.
I'm literally also...
I'm always just right in front of the camera.
Molly, that's where you were born to be.
I guess so.
That's what people have been trying to tell you.
I guess so.
They want me right in front.
They do.
Oh my gosh.
We need to go through and show them what we did
on our citrus retreat too.
Oh, yeah.
What we've accomplished and everything.
We've accomplished a lot.
So much.
We are heading off to Charlie's mom's real quick.
Oh, I love this coat.
It looks so cute on you.
Oh my god, thanks.
Wait, I love it.
I love this coat.
It looks amazing.
Where is this from?
I think it's Aritzia.
I'm pretty positive.
Yeah, I do think I saw TNA or something.
Yeah, I think it is Aritzia.
Something like that.
I love it.
Thanks, Kenzie.
Of course.
So we're gonna go to Charlie's mom's
to do something really quick.
And we're going to bar sardine for a very early dinner
because I have to show Molly this one gin drink.
And it is like, it's everything.
It's so good.
But I'm just so tired.
Okay, so this is my outfit.
Oh, it's really good.
So good.
Wow.
Everything here.
It's insane.
We are back from dinner.
And I'm hosting a dinner party tomorrow.
It's going to be a very easy dinner party
because we have someone else cooking.
But okay, this is, it's been insanely windy in Dallas.
Like all the flights have been canceled
because the wind's been insane.
So I'm not even bothering with this until further notice.
But I'm hosting a dinner party for 17 people out here tomorrow.
And I'm thinking I'm going to do a table of six here.
Well, that's a lot.
And then 11 there.
I actually don't know what I'm going to do.
It's too windy to set everything up currently.
So we're just going to get at least like the tables
and stuff down so we can go.
I was going to put like Mahjong and stuff out
because it's cereal hobbyist to have like a cereal hobbyist sign.
And it's going to be really cute.
But I might have to figure out what I want to do.
I'm not exactly sure.
But I'm thinking like I wanted to do like eight and eight.
But now we have 17.
So I'm sure someone will cancel, honestly.
So I'm thinking and maybe we'll just like add an extra chair.
So I'm thinking I'm just going to try to do eight
and maybe nine or something here.
And we'll figure it out.
Also, update.
I did end up going with the landscaping team.
I'm using Marigold Landscaping to revamp this entire
like backyard situation.
So that's going to happen next month,
which I'm so excited for because their plans are so good.
So anyway, this little move, I really wanted to have
like maybe a little stitch moment,
a little Mahjong moment for people because it is cereal hobbyist.
So we will see.
I also can obviously set this if I wanted.
I was going to make this a spritz bar though.
And then I was then I'm like, maybe I can make it Mahjong.
I don't know.
We'll have to figure it out.
Maybe I make a spritz bar in there.
I don't know.
I don't even know what the menu is for tomorrow yet.
So I have to figure that out and handle it all then.
But I don't know how this got so dirty in the wind.
Like they need to wash this now because I literally...
Guys, what happened?
I just washed this last week.
So anyway, that's going to be going in the wash.
But anyway, we have to figure that out
and have everything set up for tomorrow.
Charlie, the best helper ever.
Yeah, just do that for now.
I might have to do one more table.
I'm not 100% sure yet.
I just want to see it visually.
Because those tables really sit six
and I really kind of need them to sit eight.
So I might do two of these tables if I have the space.
Why I want the chairs though,
to see if I can fit eight at the table.
Cute.
Okay.
So definitely just one here.
And there's always the option of just using that
as a normal dinner table.
Totally.
Charlie.
Are you still functioning?
I malfunctioned.
Oh, you glitched, yeah.
I glitched, I glitched, I glitched.
Okay, so tomorrow night I'm hosting
a serial hobbyist dinner party.
We have 18 coming.
Actually, technically Sophie's coming.
So it's gonna be really fun.
But it's not, like I'm not planning it
in the same way that I would plan
my normal dinner parties.
Especially like with my hosting journal.
If you guys don't have the hosting journal
from Friend of Mine.
Let me see if I have one out
because I just completed one.
I honestly might like go back and do it
because I also do this too.
Like actually it's like scrapbook
or junk journal of my life.
But this is a hosting journal
Friend of Mine had developed it.
And it's essentially a dinner party planner.
So it's Ina Garten's birthday party.
And then I made the mood board here.
Cute.
And for like every like big dinner party
that I do, it's like the RSVP,
seating chart, the menu,
the grocery list, the week ahead planning,
the brain dump planning.
And then I go back and I junk journal.
So I kept a lot of the like little paper decor
that I just made myself
and like name tags and stuff.
And I always go back and I junk journal it.
So it serves as a scrapbook.
Molly and I are about to make
a really cute little sign.
And I think Molly,
like I'll probably put it here on this thing.
I walked into frame at the perfect time.
I wasn't even planning that for an hour.
We're so aligned.
I know, I knew exactly when you needed me.
We've just been finishing each other's sentences.
So you need it up here.
Yeah, we can just do a little serial hobbyist.
And it's literally,
I think I'm just going to do like
each letter is a different color.
So it's like colorful.
And then I'm going to use that
and I want us to do everyone's names
and that's going to be the name card.
And I'll like tape it down to the table.
So it kind of all like is cohesive.
Yeah, but it's very, very low lift also guys.
So I got this roll of brown paper.
Now normally the brown paper I get for signs.
Well, we cannot find it anywhere.
You guys know Charlie is so good at the signs.
He normally does the signs.
We cannot find it anywhere.
And it's normally like a third of this size.
So this is a big roll.
But it is a really good hosting hack
because I use the paper all the time.
Yeah, it's very nice.
It's very convenient.
You never know when you're going to need four feet of roll.
You never know.
You just never know.
So we have some colors.
We're going to make a cute little cereal hobbyist
and then cute little name tags for everyone.
And then we set the tables tomorrow.
Set a couple of mahjong tables and we're done.
Easy.
It's a very, very easy, low lift thing.
That's why I haven't done a whole like process.
Also, it is 7 p.m and I'm drinking coffee.
So look at how cute when I do my Ina Garten dinner party.
Look at how cute that is.
It's adorable.
That's why I want to go back and drug drill even.
I think I need to go back because I never don't use this.
I always use it.
It's the perfect thing if you guys are like
wanting to get into hosting or dinner parties
and you don't know how to like plan a dinner party
or it's just overwhelming or whatever.
You need this because it takes you through
and it makes it not overwhelming
and it makes it helps you like schedule out your time
so that you're not doing everything in one day
and it's just the best.
It's helpful to write everything down.
Yes, absolutely.
So my drawers are so organized.
So, so easy for me to find things.
I know exactly where everything is.
I know exactly where everything is
What are we looking for?
I think they're over here.
This will work.
Beautiful.
Those are good ones.
These, look at them.
Yeah, those are nice.
They're gonna slide right through.
Yep.
Yeah, just the paint and stuff.
How, um, so you could...
How long do you want it?
Oh, you know what?
If you go down and then just cut off a little.
You're a genius.
It is gonna be hard to cut down.
Straight?
Yeah.
I guess we'll just see.
It's kind of supposed to be, like, makeshift.
Like, that's my vibe.
It's like, it's out of this book.
Like, crafty.
Crafty.
Like, it's like a hobby book.
Oh, uh-oh.
A snag.
It's a snag.
We might not have it.
We might cut it.
You're tearing off a little bit.
It's gonna be a little thinner at the end.
Wait, guys, are you ready?
Oh, you know, you know, Kenzie?
You know, we'll cut where the tear is.
Yeah, exactly.
I think this was the thinnest.
The thinner side, we can use this for the main tags because those are gonna match.
Let's cut that right there.
Okay, cute.
And this would be cute here.
Serial hobbyist.
Oh, love this.
You know it already.
It's perfect.
It's gonna take us two seconds and I'm gonna be like, that was amazing.
It's perfect.
You guys ready for our master reveal?
Big reveal.
I'm on TikTok revealing my art to get discovered.
This is me.
Wow.
So now the next step, we just hang it up.
We'll put some works on the bottom.
But she's looking so cute.
Oh, it's actually really cute.
Obsessed.
Good morning, y'all.
Me and my iPhone tripod being a little TikTok star.
I am going to start set up.
Well, we've already have set up kind of done for the dinner party.
But I'm washing a tablecloth and I couldn't actually put out any of the tablecloths or
plates or anything because the wind in Texas the past couple of days has been so bad that
like flights were getting canceled.
So I just didn't want to ruin that.
Charlie's gonna help pick some weeds later.
So it's gonna look a little rough for the time being.
But I'm gonna go set the tables.
I'm washing the tablecloth for the middle.
I'm going to set up two tables because this is like a serial hobbyist dinner party.
So everyone's coming.
Dress is their favorite hobby.
And they are also going to we're going to do like a show and tell.
If you don't have hobbies, totally fine.
This will be like your intro and it's going to be really fun.
And then I also told people like we can play in stitch or cross stitch or whatever it is
after the fact.
So I'm really excited.
It's going to be so fun.
And I'm so excited that Molly is here.
This isn't like a true Kinsey Elizabeth dinner party.
And this is like I'm not cooking.
It's not as excessive as I normally am.
It's a lot more chill.
But I didn't want to have like a really big one when Molly was here because I wanted us
to like just chill a little bit more.
So anyway, I need to get this done because I have a bunch of calls starting in like an
hour and a half.
All right, y'all.
So here is what we have now.
It actually looks beautiful.
So I have two mahjong tables going.
We would move the chairs over later to play some games.
This is the actual table setting.
I am obsessed with these pavilion plates.
They're paper plates, which is amazing for any time of year.
But I feel like it used to be more of like a faux potty used paper plates at a dinner
party.
But these are so cute and stylish and it makes your cleanup so much easier.
I opted for like normal real glassware just to add to the table.
And then I have the lamps and stuff that we added once they're charged to make it look
really cute.
We went through like a little, as you guys saw, crafty vibe.
So the name tags we just made ourselves.
I've got some pictures out.
The garden mahjong mat is back in stock on our site, by the way.
And then the gingham one we do have in stock.
This is another friend of my mahjong mat.
And the Jolly Twal should be restocking really, really soon if it has not already.
So stay up to date on restock notifications because this one almost sold out completely
just from the restock notifications before I even posted on social.
So keep that in mind.
Anyway, it looks amazing.
I love all the greens.
I originally got this green, like the green tablecloth set for Charlie's birthday because
that's his favorite color.
And I love this.
Also, I've got some really cute ones that I can't show yet because we're shooting them
very soon.
And so I don't have these out just yet.
But this is another table.
Sometimes if there's too many people, I make do with this as a dinner table.
And I honestly love when I'm home and we eat here.
I just love this vibe.
And then over here, oh, I'm also going to have to add a chair to each table.
But they're going to be the uglier chair.
So I'm going to add them last minute.
Over here, we have another table going.
So cute.
And as you guys know, I'm really crazy about seating charts.
And so I see people near each other that I think would really vibe or maybe someone who's
more shy next to someone who's more outgoing.
And I'm very strategic when it comes to that because I want everyone to feel very included
and at home and very comfortable.
And a seating chart is the best way to do that because you are really curating the vibe
because I know how everyone will work together.
And I always have.
I have a couple people that I don't even know that I've invited tonight.
So there's always one or two that's just completely new and I haven't met them.
But just based off interests and stuff that I see, mutual friends, things like that, I'm
able to make those calls.
And then over here, I'm going to make a little spritz bar.
I have the liquor and stuff coming later.
Wait for it.
It actually moves out.
It's a potting bench.
So that's going to go there whenever my stuff is done.
But for the time being, it's going to be a spritz bar.
And I'm going to have all the garnishes out there and then the drinks so you can make
your own spritz drinks.
And it's going to be fabulous.
So anyway, the party is basically set.
I do have a couple more things I need to do before tonight, but overall, I'm done.
And I normally set the table days in advance.
You just can't do that when you're doing an outdoor dinner, obviously.
So anyway, I am loving this.
It is so cute.
I'm actually going to finally get ready for the day for the dinner and then also Molly
and I are getting some stuff filmed.
Oh, guys, I made an order from Dairy Boy, which I haven't made a ton of orders from
them, but I think Dairy Boy is so cute.
And I love it.
I got these shorts.
This is like what drew me in because I liked the color palette and they're just so cute.
And then I loved this top.
Like, how adorable is this?
That's just so fun.
So anyway, I'm going to get ready.
No, I actually think it's fine.
It's cute.
It's a little crooked somehow.
That's okay.
It's fine.
Nothing's perfect.
Molly and I needed to give you guys an update for one that we were just filming our web
which is really important.
That was the main reason we went.
So we needed to show you guys.
So I'll start off, I guess.
Thanks, Kenzie.
We did this little kissing bunnies and I just finished it.
I love it.
Pale yellow backgrounds, two little bunnies, velvet for the bunnies, sparkling red for
the bows.
I'm obsessed with this.
We're going to make this into a door hanger.
I'm saying we because Kenzie.
I'm going to do it.
She has offered to help me, which is so sweet of her.
So I'm going to make this into a cute little door hanger to put up every Easter.
I got the pink gingham fabric on Spoonflower too.
And it's going to be ruffled similar to the one that I just did for the birthday cake.
So it's just going to be everything.
It's going to be so good.
And then the other one that I'm working on right now is this little Dunkin cup with a
donut.
And I'm honestly really close to being done.
I just have a little bit more of the brown and some silver, but I should probably finish
this within the next couple of days.
So I'm excited about this one.
It's going to be a fridge magnet slash ornament.
That way I can do kind of like what do you want to do with the strap was on the magnet?
I don't know.
I've seen people on TikTok.
They tuck it in.
Oh, and they have.
Okay.
So the way the magnets are stronger.
Okay.
That's smart.
So I don't, I don't really know.
I've just seen it on TikTok once or someone did that.
And I was like, that's kind of smart to be able to do.
Yeah.
Dual.
That's why I like that panty line acrylic that I have because I can put one into it.
I bet their magnet is just really thick because if you think about it, if there's
room to put the cording behind there, the magnets thick, it would hit that way.
And you could like, the cord is coming down from here.
That's why you need to expand a couple of rows coming out from here.
And it goes down this way right here.
If the magnet is thick enough, it would still hit that and be able to tuck on it.
So I think that the back of that might just look a little bit like uneven as an ornament.
And that's fine because you want it to be a magnet too.
Right.
Well, so we'll see.
It might just be an ornament, but it's the goal is a magnet.
I would do magnet over ornament for that one.
You think, right?
Because it'll go in the fridge and then it'll be like kind of appropriate.
It'll be all there all the time.
Right.
It's perfect.
Okay.
So I finished the OG and the cowgirl dolly.
Mainly I just had backgrounds to do.
And I love these.
We are, of course, doing more of these dollies throughout time.
And eventually I'm going to have every single one of these stitched.
These are the best stitches because, which by the way, guys, actually,
this, we're doing a pre-order for the canvases.
I probably should have said that at the beginning of the vlog.
It ends today, Sunday, when this video goes up.
So you guys want to get them today because it's probably the last time we'll do a pre-order on
these.
If you made the last order on the pre-order, it's still the same times from when you guys
made that order.
These will be 24 to 30 weeks out from this order date.
But anyway, I'm going to do these with cute little ruffles.
And I'm going to get like more like country looking fabric and do a cute little ruffle
on all of them.
And then eventually I'm going to have every staple dolly and they're all going to be ornaments
on my tree.
These are a really fun fast stitch because like I could finish the chicken in like a
day and then I can do the background like a day and a half.
Like this is like less than a week project if you're like getting to work, you know,
so it's fun.
What did you do for the chickens?
Okay, I forget the name of it, but it's like a fuzzy sparkly.
Yeah, it's cool.
It's, Harrison and I were just talking about it on the podcast.
I think it's like alpaca maybe or something.
Cool.
But it's cool.
It was kind of a pain to work with, but I'll continue to do that because it's just like
iconic and I love that.
Unless maybe like, I don't know, maybe I'll switch it up and do velvets or something.
Totally.
I mean, I'll have velvet as like the outline.
Oh yeah, okay.
But in like the outfits or like the shoes and boots and stuff.
The accessories are velvet.
Oh, I love that.
Then I have, I finished my cousin's baby.
So my nephew's door hanger.
Well, he's not actually my second cousin, but we're doing the whole aunt-nephew thing.
Yeah, so this is really cute and it's going to be a door hanger.
His name is obviously Grant and it's going to be amazing.
I have the perfect like tartan fabric that's in these three colors.
I had this made custom from CC Needlepoint.
That's where I get all my customs from.
And it was fun.
I just did like a quarter stitch in the background and it's fabulous.
Last but not least, this is really my pride and joy and all that my life is being consumed
by.
The Dolly Carton canvas.
This is my favorite canvas we've ever done, aside from the Dolly skating, which that was
really exciting.
Because they're all, their sweaters are going to be velvet.
Yeah, I love that.
Amazing.
But I have finished a majority of the background, like just within the fence.
I have a little bit left here, which I'll probably get done before even dinner.
And then I just have the little icons and stuff and I'm giving myself a deadline of
April 15th and I think I can do it.
I'm flying through things.
This is like my 10th project.
I don't even think April 15th is going to be an issue at all, the way that you're living
with this right now.
Maybe.
It's going to be done in a week, I feel like.
I'm literally going to be like ding ding ding on the plane with this one.
Yeah.
Actually, I don't think I'll take it to the community in New York.
I'll probably bring like a smaller canvas to just get done in the meantime.
Right, it's a little overwhelming to bring a lot that way.
It's a little much.
But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done.
I can bring my smaller one, the Christmas one, that's just the 13 that I've been wanting
to do.
So that would be easy because I could get that like done really quickly.
But I just love this canvas.
Oh, sorry.
I'm sorry.
No, I'm sorry.
I was really trying to get in there and like look at everything.
It's the problem with the bars.
I don't think it's like stiff.
I think it's like a canvas and I'm like, yeah, right here.
No, but it's so fun.
I'm just looking at all these different areas.
I just feel like you could do like this in a day.
This in a day.
You know, like you're, you move so quick, so.
Because the thing about me is that I bring my canvas, my needlepoint with me everywhere.
You can attest to this.
Like when we go to like any, either one of our current houses.
Even in the car.
Yeah.
And it's really impressive because sometimes I'm like, how is she doing this with the bumps
and the turns and everything?
I don't, I get carsick all, like from anything else, but I don't get carsick with needlepointing.
Yeah, that's so amazing.
But even just getting the thread through when you're, when you're moving like that, it's
really impressive to see her.
But if we go to like, if try to go to like either one of our parents' houses, like I'm
needlepointing the whole time there.
Like we're sitting there talking to them for four hours, it's four hours of needlepoint
time.
That's how I'm getting through these projects, is driving in our parents' houses.
Yeah, that's amazing.
It's just so fabulous.
So anyway, and then we're doing French knots.
I don't know if I said that.
I've never done a French knot before, but on all of the roses around here.
That's going to be really cool.
All the flowers.
I think that's going to really give it like an extra pop.
And I'm just loving that.
I'm really excited for this dinner party because like it's hopefully not going to take up my
stitch time.
Right.
We can have a stitch moment.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's going to be amazing.
I'm so excited.
It's going to be so fabulous.
So anyways, that's our whip and that's really what we got done.
I didn't pull out any of my other projects.
Oh, oh, that's our varnishes for the drinks for the spritz bar.
Spritz bar time.
Should we make an apparel spritz?
Yeah, we should.
It's time for the spritz bar.
Guys, our chef, Chef Ram, is so great and he's so nice.
We got from Take a Chef, which is a platform that connects you to chefs in your area for
dinner parties and stuff.
So nice.
He has all of the food going.
Our guests are arriving in the next 45 minutes.
So we're just going to set up a little spritz bar.
Charlie, Molly, and I are going to have a little spritz.
Charlie, I think he's probably going to end up coming to this dinner party.
So we're really at 20 people.
And he seems excited about the food and everything.
The food is really what got him.
And then when he thought that Ben and Harrison were coming, he's like, oh, I really like
Ben and Harrison.
I think he's playing it like he's not going to.
And then I think the last minute he's going to be like, oh, why not?
Yeah.
Everyone loves Charlie.
Yeah, everyone loves Charlie.
That's what's so hard about when you're dating the actual good guy.
You just get overshadowed, right?
Stuff.
I'm so strong, Molly.
It's insane.
The garnishes.
This is the life I was meant to live, y'all.
What a fabulous, fabulous week.
Guys, while we're here, I also hate popping champagne.
I've never gotten over that fear.
I still, I do it, obviously.
It is scary sometimes.
It's overwhelming.
Especially when there's eyes on you.
It's like when you order fajitas at a restaurant.
Exactly.
It's like demoralizing, like dehumanizing, I mean.
Okay.
Might as well.
I can't wait until we're just grabbing them and put my little herb garden over there.
Oh, yeah, that would be so nice.
Here's our spritz bar.
I look forward to this year.
So good.
Perfect.
And this is my most recent project that I finished.
Thank you, everyone.
So this was supposed to be a birthday cake,
and then I turned it into a celebration cake and a needlepoint journal.
So we're now members of the needlepoint cult together.
We meet on Wednesday on TikTok.
So it looks like nothing from the front,
but it's going to be a piece of chocolate cake when it's all finished.
Like it'll be a 3D slice of cake.
So if anyone out there is also a stitcher and wants to bead, like this is your sign.
Pick up the beads and do it.
You're going to have so much fun.
And just like in general, whatever hobby that you have,
find that next level.
You know what I mean?
Go deeper.
Dig in.
Lock in.
Do something different, right?
So that's my chocolate cake.
Yes.
Okay.
What was your...
I've only done...
Is it...
What's like the most basic stitch?
Continental.
I've only done that.
What's like...
What should be my next...
Basket weave.
Okay, I tried.
Where can I...
Yes, or if you come back next time or...
Do you have a project with you?
I didn't bring it, but I have one.
We can show you.
Let's sit down after dinner and I'll show you.
Seriously, I'll show you.
Because once it clicks, you're going to get it forever.
It's actually what you got there.
Hi, everyone.
I'm Taylor or Ben.
Whatever you want to call me.
Obviously, I'm Miss Birdbam.
This is actually the mahjong tile that I designed for Oh My Mahjong.
You're going to awkwardly watch me get into this.
Very cute.
Dogs playing mahjong.
To a bag.
There's what you want to know.
Wait, you designed this?
Yeah.
So I'm a watercolor artist.
And so this is like a print of the original design.
And then, of course, that turned into this tile.
Oh my gosh.
I'm Alexa.
And I am skiing this evening.
And I'm here to tell you my top skiing outfit recommendations
slash the things you should have for any good ski trip.
Of course, starting off very strong, you need a pair of boots.
Of course.
Where should we vacation to go skiing?
That's going to be my question.
That's a good question.
OK.
OK, I'm going to top a question.
Highway Disney is really controversial.
I don't love Aspen.
Oh my gosh.
Aspen?
OK, Aspen's fun for shopping.
