Calling all my Mac OG girls.
This video is for all of my Mac OG girls.
I'm going to be sharing all of my favorite Mac products that I have been using
for the past, I don't know, 15 years, 15 years plus,
and products that I still currently use in my kit today.
So let's get into it. If you are a true Mac girlie,
you know that the Mac lip liners and lipsticks are a must
have any day, all day. Okay.
So some of my favorites, honestly, I have used, let me show you.
I have practically every single shade in my makeup
kit, in my personal makeup bag as well.
So lip liners are a must have for Mac. Okay.
Just to name a couple. So I love Whirl,
which is a mauve-y rose color.
I love Soar, which is a really pretty pinky lip
line as well. Can never go wrong with Stripped Down.
This is an OG, a perfect brown lip line.
Chestnut can never go wrong with chestnut. This is a deep dark brown.
Love this shade as well. Spice and everything nice.
So pretty. Listen,
you can never go wrong with Mac lip liners and their lipsticks.
I always, always stock up on some of my favorites.
And my favorites is Honey Love, Myth, Cream Cup, Modesty.
I'm going to swatch a couple of them for you.
But what I did in my kit,
I took out every single one of my favorite lipsticks and I put them
in this Mac Pro palette.
Now you can purchase this on mac.com on their
pro section and get, I don't know if they actually have this anymore.
I think that they don't have the 12 section.
They may have a six compartment one,
but if you could find it somewhere else,
please grab it because it'll make your life so much easier.
So what I did is I put all of my favorite lipsticks on here and then I labeled
it, but it needs to be updated. So don't look too closely.
But these are all of my favorite lipsticks and some of them,
like I mentioned before, Honey Love is my favorite nude lipstick.
It has been my favorite since I started wearing Mac.
It's the perfect nude for all my olive
skin girls can never go wrong with Modesty.
It's like a baby pink. It's like a nudie pink.
Love this shade. Myth. I know you heard of myth.
It is not a myth.
Nude lipstick with a perfect darker lip line.
10 out of 10 cream cup. You can never go wrong with a baby pink
lipstick. These are just a couple of them guys.
I have so many of my must have favorite
lipstick as to why they're all in here,
but this is mostly what I use for like bridesmaids, brides.
So definitely have to have that in my kit so you can never go wrong with
lipsticks and liners from Mac. I don't think they'll ever go away, honestly.
Okay. Now let's move on to blushes.
I still use Mac blushes till this day in my kit,
like Gingerly. It's like a really pretty peach.
It's like a peach and a rose had a baby
and created this shade looks like this.
This is so pretty, especially for like olive skin tones as well.
It will show up a little bit brighter on more like fair skin,
but it is gorgeous. Prism is one of my favorites.
I know it looks like nothing on here.
It's kind of like a very light neutral
pink. So what I like to use this blush for specifically,
if you are wearing a red lipstick,
this is a perfect blush to apply because it's not too bright.
It's not going to overpower the red. It's going to compliment it beautifully.
So blushes, Mac blushes, they're always in my kit.
So you have another Gingerly right here, brand new, not even open.
Blushes 10 out of 10. Oh, one of my favorites. I actually just run out of it.
Warm soul mineralized blush. So good.
It's like a bronzer and a blush that's like
neutral pink and a little shimmer,
like a tad of shimmer had a baby and created that.
So that blush is for my girls. I'm going to pop it right here.
So this blush is perfect for my girls who don't really like a lot of blush.
That one's for you right there. It has a little shimmer too.
So it's going to give you a perfect little pop. Okay. That one's it.
Now moving on to the face.
Listen, if you have gone your makeup done by me,
you know I am a ride or die for the Mac Studio
Fix Fluid Foundation. Why fix it?
If it's not broken, truly it photographs so beautifully.
It has SPF in it. It's a perfect satin matte.
It's not too drying. It's not too hydrating.
It's perfectly right in the middle and it lasts so long for wedding days.
And I know they changed the formula,
which was so annoying and it made it a little bit more matter.
So what I like to use is a foundation thinner.
So one size actually has a foundation thinner,
which looks like this. You just need one drop of this,
a drop or two of your Studio Fix Fluid, mix it up. Boom.
You're back to the original. Well, it feels like you're back to the original.
I find that it works so much better with this, with the new formula.
Now this concealer still use it to this day on
myself every single day is the Studio Finish Concealer.
I absolutely love these concealers.
Now I don't know if they have been discontinued because every time I go on the
site, there are no, they are nowhere to be found. And these are my favorite.
So what I use now to replace that
is this bad boy,
the Pro Palette Full Coverage Foundation from
MAC. Can you tell I love it? It's like practically gone.
I have to get a new one, but these two are full
coverage. Okay.
So I like to use this for underneath my eyebrows just to give it
more of a sharp, very clean brow.
I even like to use these to spot treat.
So if my client has some problematic areas,
that is what I use to go on top to cover up any
area that needs a little bit more love. So that's what I use this for.
But now I use this, they have the exact same shades.
These are their most popular shades as well. And again,
you can use this for underneath your brow and you can use this to spot treat.
This is a full coverage foundation.
So when I tell you this baby covers up any stubborn
area, and that's how I like to cover up problematic areas.
I do a layer of foundation and instead of going in with more
foundation on top,
I just spot treat with this baby with like a small brush,
like a small concealer brush, pick some up and dab.
And it has to be like the same color of their skin.
Or maybe if it's a little stubborn, a little dark,
I go maybe one shade darker to, so it can balance.
So definitely will always be in my kit.
But if you have taken a lesson with me or if you've seen me use this,
if you find them anywhere, specifically the shade for underneath your brows,
buy it, don't matter the price, just buy it. Okay.
Now for the mineralized skin finish powder.
I have every shade in this powder. These are amazing.
Love them. It's great for a topper powder,
just to kind of top your face with this.
It's great to give you more coverage and use a powder puff to give you
more coverage on your face. You can be oily. You can be dry.
You can be combo skin, no matter how your skin is,
this powder will look natural on you. It has a natural finish.
It melts into the skin. So it doesn't look dry in any way.
It just gives you the perfect amount of coverage and it makes your skin
look like skin. So this I have in every shade,
and this is in my kit and will forever be in my kit.
I haven't found anything like it. Love, love, love. Okay.
So let's talk about eyes.
I love these paint pots from Mac.
So these are eyeshadow primers and they're just called paint pots.
And I only use three shades in my kit.
I use painterly, which is a very neutral.
Let me get a brush and scoop some out.
This is a very neutral shade, which looks like that.
So this is a perfect eyeshadow base for anybody who
has very fair or light skin
tones. Then I use Langlow.
This is the shade that I would use.
This is more for like medium to dark skin
tones, which is, let me see if I could, which looks like this right there.
Then I use groundwork,
which is a deep color for all of my
deep skin tone girlies,
which looks like this, just like this.
Or if I'm going to do like a smoky eye, I use that as well.
So the reason why I like to use these paint pots,
they have a six to eight hour wear claim.
You put this on all over your lid.
So if you have any discoloration on your lid, like veins or maybe like dark areas,
this just gives you one solid color.
So when you apply your shadows on top, it blends beautifully.
It helps the wearage of the shadow to stay on.
It helps it to not crease as much.
So definitely these I have been using for years
and I think I will always use them because I love them.
So definitely a yes.
And of course, Mac shadows.
I practically have every single
eyeshadow that Mac has ever came out with.
So honestly, you can never go wrong with Mac shadows.
They are vibrant. They are pigmented.
They blend great. They have great variety.
So a couple of my favorites,
I would have literally showed you like the whole entire store,
but I just grabbed a few just to show you what winked.
This is a very pretty like champagne, light brown shimmery.
This is perfect for somebody who kind of wants
just like a natural shadow look with a little bit of shine, not too much.
You want to step out a little bit.
This is perfect.
This looks good on every single person.
I love Dazzle Light.
Dazzle Light is one of my favorites.
So pigmented.
It's a very pretty off white, bright, light shadow with shimmer.
It's perfect for your inner corner.
If you like a little bit of shine underneath your brow,
you can 100% use that as well.
But this has always been one of my favorites.
I love the matte shadows that MAC has.
I love yogurt. It's actually like a yogurt color.
It's like a perfect
nude with a pop of lilac,
which looks like this. It's so pretty.
Can never go wrong with that.
And the transition colors,
you can never go wrong with transition colors for MAC.
I love cork, which is like a cool tone brown on the crease.
I love saddle uninterrupted.
All of my OG MAC girls know uninterrupted.
It's a perfect crease color.
It was very unique.
So if you have uninterrupted, do not give it away.
It's nowhere to be found.
Oh, yes, it is to be found, actually.
I think they made it permanently, I think.
Either way, it's 10 out of 10.
OK, I even created my very own brow palette for MAC,
which looks like this.
So I bought again, I bought this at the MAC store.
This is a pro item.
You can just go under the pro section online
and they give you an option to get like a two pack, four pack or a six pack.
So I chose the six pack and I have all of the matte browns
that are perfect for my blondes, my brunettes, my redheads.
So I have all of the variety of shades here for my brows.
And of course, I cannot forget about the reflex
glitters that MAC came out with.
These are so great.
They are a perfect topper.
And what I mean by topper is when you apply your regular shadows,
you can use a tiny bit
to pick some up, use your finger, pick some up.
Oh, my gosh, that pigmentation.
You use this to lightly tap
on top of the shadow that you already have,
and it gives you that perfect shimmer.
So when the sun hits you, you are gleaming.
So these have always been a must have for me.
I use the reflex gold.
I use reflex transparent teal.
I have all of the shades.
So if you're looking for a pretty topper
to apply on top of your shadow for the extra little pop, these are it.
Now, last but not least,
I want to share a couple of my favorite eye pencils from MAC.
So this is in the shade Teddy.
And let me find some space on my hand.
This is a really pretty brown.
You can't really see, but it has a little bit of shimmer in it.
It's a perfect pencil that doesn't make your eyes look so harsh.
So it gives you still a little bit of deepness, but it's not black.
It's not gray.
It's just a really pretty brown that has a little shimmer
so it can give you a little bit of a pop.
Not too dramatic will always be one of my favorite shimmery brown liners.
And if any of you can get a hold of this bad boy, please grab one.
So this is my favorite pencil that I have used.
That's white.
Now, I'm not talking about fascinating the one that's on their website right now.
This one is called Pure White, and this is a pro product.
OK, so what I mean by pro products is
on the MAC website, there is a section where it says pro
and it has a lot of different things for artists.
So professional makeup artists.
So like paints, they have pro palettes like this.
So you can create your own palettes.
So they have a little bit of different variety for professional artists.
But this baby is the brightest
white that I have ever used for inside of the waterline.
This is the only white pencil that I use.
So before I left MAC,
I bought probably 10 of them and I cannot find them anymore.
And I only have one left.
So I am holding on to this really tight.
And hopefully I'll be able to find more on Poshmark or something.
So if you find them, send them my way, please.
But other than that, I think I covered all bases
when it comes to my favorite must have MAC products.
So I hope you enjoyed this OG MAC haul.
Oh, and I did not mention we cannot forget about our baby,
the turquoise perfume that all of us MAC artists used.
Oh, my gosh. I bought I don't even know how many bottles when I work there.
That was a staple working at MAC.
And I know you know what I'm talking about.
