The Castellows - Freeway, Choctaw Grand Theatre, Durant, OK

This was my first ‪@thecastellows‬ this year! Oklahoma was more than OK :)

Freeway is so much fun! An original song from the Balkcom sisters' second EP "Homecoming". The lyrics sure are autobiographical. The personal references like Powell's nickname 'Birdie' are sweet. I do think of this song whenever I see their name up on a Marquee. So catchy. The chorus is so catchy too and so are the fun hops the ladies do. I also love the dynamics in this song - a Castellows signature sound - how it starts up slow with vocals and builds.
