One of the best places to chase tornadoes on earth is the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle’s. On April 15, 2016 I thought this supercell was going to plant a tornado right on top of the Tractor Supply in Dalhart, TX. Thankfully the storm took awhile longer to wind up, before producing multiple twisters near the town of Eva, OK in the panhandle. The panhandle’s in peak severe season on a severe weather day is heaven on earth for a storm chaser.
