Unfiltered Morning Routine With A Toddler And A Newborn

Good morning you guys and welcome back. Today's video is gonna be our unfiltered morning routine. Good morning Jade fam. We look great, don't we? We, you know, I woke up like this. But Skye just woke up. Summer is probably a little bit hungry, so I gotta feed Summer. We gotta get Skye up. She's not hungry, she's snuggly. She's snuggly with her daddy. A little morning cuddles every morning. Come on you two lazy bums. Well three, you three lazy boys. Well, two boys and girl. We're just taking advantage of the snuggles. True. Wanna go get, wanna go get sissy up? Come on top. Come on. Okay guys, I put some eye patches on because, you know, newborn sleep. But um, Skye's been waking up and every single morning on the monitor, this is what we hear, you know, my mommy. Yeah, or my mommy. Let it go. Let it go. But she kind of says like, hey go. And, or last night it was... Do you want to build a snowman? Princess Skye. Good morning. I'm gonna put this in here. Good morning Princess Skye. Rise and shine. You gotta have the glory, glory. I'm gonna let it shine. This little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine. Let it shine. Okay, a daddy diaper change coming in hot. Also you guys, I got some milk stains all over my pants. I don't even know if you guys can see like all down there. What are you saying Skye? You found popcorn on the couch? You want to watch Elsa? No, we're not watching Elsa. Josh and I had popcorn on the couch. He must have dropped a piece on the couch because she just found popcorn. That girl's obsessed with popcorn even though, What's it called? Popcorn. I'm always so nervous for her to eat. It has to be so small because popcorn is so chokeable. And also, we don't even let her watch that much TV or screen time. We let her watch Elsa, like parts of it. Like sometimes before bed. This girl's obsessed. Obsessed. Okay guys, I'm gonna change out my pajamas and get into something. I have this really cute top from Brandy. And then my jeans. I can't remember where these jeans are from, but they're super, super cute. Okay, I don't know if any other moms feel this way, but sometimes I swear in the mornings with kids it feels like total survival mode. And as a mom, I'm always trying to find ways to make mom life easier. And I found a product that literally has been such a game changer for me. And that's the Mom Cozy Air One Breast Pump. This is so good. It is so ultra thin, which is amazing. So this is what they look like and they're so nice because they're super slim. They're only 2.4 inches thick. And then they also can go in the charging case right here. Like they're literally so slim that they can like fit right into my top. And like I could wear this out in public. Like it doesn't even look like bad because of how thin they are. And then I also can get my milk. Look at this. It barely even looks like I have pumps on. And I'm like hands free, which I love. And this case is really cool because it's a charging case, so you just pop them right there. And I can get 15 different sessions before I need to charge again, which is so nice and convenient. And it's really nice because while I'm pumping, I can do things like making Skye breakfast or literally anything that needs to get done around the house. Like doing laundry or picking up Skye's toys. I just love that I can pump completely hands free. That way I have time to take care of the kids and do anything that needs to get done around the house. And what's really cool is the case doubles as storage so it keeps everything neat and tucked away. Okay, and don't even get me started with all the bottle parts, pump parts that line up on the counter. If you're a mom, you totally understand this. It's so nice because it keeps the bottles sterile and ready for up to 72 hours and it's nice because now I can spend more time coloring with Skye instead of doing bottle dishes that are so annoying. It's so funny that we'll literally go to Skye, want to go get coffee? And she's like, yeah! And she gets so excited, but yet like she doesn't get coffee or anything. But she is all for us getting coffee. And I love that. Daddy is on hair duty. Hair duty, that's right. Let's see what he ends up doing. I'm a professional. What do we want, Katie? You know, I think just the bows today. Why is Skye's head like that? You must be pulling her hair hard. Hey, is daddy pulling your hair too hard? Yeah. Alright, you guys, here's the final product. We've got some bows, you know, some curls in the back. For whatever reason, this little girl is dipping her avocado toast in her water, and she's eating it, so it's super nasty, but we're just going to let it happen right now. But we're not in public, so it's okay. We're not in public, so it's okay. Okay, you guys, I changed out of my jeans because I felt like putting the new Jamie Fit shorts on with this. These shorts are the best shorts in the world, and they don't have a liner in it, so they're very, like, loose and free, and they actually have pockets in them. They have zippers right here, so, you know, you can use pockets too. But look at this. We've got the JD logo right there. This is what the back looks like. Josh and me are going to go to the office in a little bit to go live because we just dropped these, and then we also have these in pink, purple, brown, um, pink, purple, brown, and blue. And then we have matching open bag tees. What's up, Skye? You want a color? Let me see your dress! Oh my goodness, you look beautiful! Can I get a spin? Wow, so pretty! This little girlie is going in the car seat. Are you leaving this on? He's gonna buckle it. Yeah, I'll just, like, do one of those. What is that one eye open, girlie? Good morning! She's like, who are you talking to? She's like, let me be. Yesterday, I had, uh, Summer's, like, five week, uh, checkup, and she weighs the exact same weight right now that Skye was born at, which is crazy. She was so, like, this is how big Skye was when she came out. That's so crazy. That's insane, and I feel like Summer's gotten so much bigger too since she was born. Which, obviously, she has because she was, like, six pounds, but I'm like, oh my goodness, that's crazy. Okay, you guys, we just got in the car, and, uh, the Frozen soundtrack was playing, and Josh goes, ugh. No, I didn't go like that. I meant like, ugh, like, ugh, like, oh, now, now we're gonna have to, because Skye doesn't really care, but once she hears the Frozen song, she's like, I don't listen to Frozen. That's true. If she hears the song, then we can't switch it. Yeah, but like, that's, I didn't mean like, ugh, Frozen. Like, I actually like the songs, but they are so bad, I'll be waking up in my sleep to go pee, and I'm singing them in my head, and I'm like, they're torturing me now, I think. Literally. Our favorite song is the one that Olaf sings. It's, like, Summer Summer. It's like, In summer! My mom. What, Skye? My mom. No, my mommy. My mom. No, mine. Mine. And she just randomly goes, no, my mommy! And we're like, who are you arguing with? I don't know who she's arguing with. Alright, guys, I got my coffee, and if you're wondering what I get, I get a pumpkin spice latte, iced, half sweet, with oat milk, and it is just, mwah, mwah, mwah, but this is where Josh, you and me, we're having marriage problems! I'm gonna say it here first, we're having marriage problems. Well, first of all, what's crazy, you didn't need to tell them what you get, because it's so obvious, I'm sorry, like, you could've just said, I get a basic coffee, you know what I'm saying? Right, right, right. But, Katie won't even give this other coffee shop a try. I did! Everyone loves it here. It's called Butter Buzz, and it is really good, okay? They just totally messed up my order, and I go to this one spot, and it is my favorite place in the world, and it's like, every time I go somewhere else, I'm like, sad, like, it just doesn't it doesn't do the same. You didn't even give another place a try. I did! They literally gave me whole milk, they gave it full sweet, it was like, it literally was like a sugar cup, it was disgusting. Whatever. And, I mean, what Josh gets is pretty good. You meant Summer's disappointed in you. I know, Summer. You agree with Mommy, huh? Summer's saying no, my Mommy! My Mommy. No, my Mommy! Okay, we just got back from getting coffee. I wanted to show you guys a little update on Skye's room. Skye, do you want to show them? Yeah. Go show them your room! Over here! Oh, yeah. So we got the barn door, and that's opened right there. And then, we put, okay, Skye's room is just temporary right now. We put her sign right there. Um, we also have a really cute, like, custom surfboard that this girl's, like, hand-painting. Um, that might go there, or on this wall. I've gotta, like, piece everything together. We have some, like, prints and stuff, but I want to do a whole bunch of other, like, prints, like, family pictures, things like that. And then, we have this mirror. I'm gonna make some type of collage up there. Maybe I can put in, uh, the AI picture, or, like, the ChatGTP picture that, uh, the vibes I'm going for. But, yeah. And then, we got Skye's little reading corner over here. I want to do some type of chair in this corner. That's gonna go away, too. That way, we can, like, read her books over here, and, like, we can hang out with her in here. But, yeah, Skye's room still has a lot to do. But, I want this to be, like, her little reading corner area, where she's got her little chair. And then, maybe if we have a chair over there, we can, like, read her books, because she always wants me to read her books. And, I'll normally just, like, sit in this little chair, but, obviously, it's not that comfy. But, Skye, you love reading books? This little girlie wants me to read, like, a hundred books a day. So, we've been reading lots. Also, I feel like a lot of people will ask, this is from Pottery Barn, this crib. It's so cute. It has, like, little, like, balls at the bottom of it. And then, so does this dresser. That's also from Pottery Barn. I think it's Pottery Barn Kids. And then, this is now Summer's room, which we gotta move this mattress up. And then, I'm just using Skye's mobile again, because this is the cutest little mobile ever. It does say her name, but I was like, I don't really think that matters that much. But, we have her name sign right here. It's from Timberwood Designs, I think it's called. But, I'll put it on Instagram, too, because it is so, so cute. I love the little wood sign. And then, we have Summer's little going home outfit here. This was Skye's, but now it's Summer's. Same with this. And then, her little footprints. The little angel. I think that's so cute. And then, that's a Summer. And then, these, we're gonna have to change out eventually. But, you guys know, like, changing pictures out is so... Like, I feel like getting pictures like, printed, on the wall, hung, I feel like it's just such a process. And I'm like, these are, like, perfectly on the wall. Like, I don't wanna take them down yet, but I'll have to wait till I get some with Summer and Skye. I think we're gonna do some family photos, maybe around, like, when Summer's, like, around three months or around, like, Christmas time. That way, we can get, like, some total family pictures. This is Skye at three months, and I feel like at three months, they look more like, they have, like, their, like, face features. Like, obviously, Summer has features, but she looks more like a newborn versus, like, a baby. Also, I want you guys to know, or, like, I want you guys to vote. Do you guys like this gold bow mirror? Um, and, or, do you guys like this one? Her theme is more, like, beachy, but I feel like I like the gold one more. Which could tie into, like, the gold up there, the gold up there. I'm not sure, though. Okay, guys, Joshie B went to the office, and Skye and I were filming some TikToks. Basically, I was, we were just dancing. Like, I was dancing and Skye was, like, dancing next to me. I wanna show you guys. I gotta, like, mute it. It's not as good without the audio, but we did one with Skye, like, doing, like, old millennial music, and she was just really funny. So, let me, uh, this is one of them. And she goes, no, I'm nice, Mommy. And I was like, wait, how'd she know, like, the opposite? I don't know. I'm nice. You're nice? Yeah. You are a nice little girl. Yeah, Mommy is nice. Is Mommy nice? But we were here for so long. It's crazy to see, like, Skye go from, like, when we used to bring her to, we used to bring her to the office when she was, like, this big, and now look how big she is.
