$1 Street Food at Phnom Penh’s Secret Clam Village!
This morning I explored a hidden village behind Boeung Salang Market in Phnom Penh — once known as Leas Harl Village, the old sun-dried clam village. Today it has become a busy local market, and I went hunting for the cheapest and most delicious breakfast.
I found a family food stall selling:
• Pork Belly Noodle Soup – $1
• Beef Stew Noodle – $1
• Pork Belly Porridge – $0.75
After enjoying a bowl of porridge, I discovered a ring rice cake stall selling each piece for only $0.125! I grabbed 3 before finishing with my favorite $1 hot latte. Pure Cambodian street food goodness!
