'Daredevil: Born Again' returns for the highly anticipated Season 2

Marvel Television's Daredevil Born Again is back tonight. My little, my Max has watched the whole series for the highly anticipated season two. Well just wait for this, he's gonna love it. So will you. It's set on the streets of New York City, which is exactly where I caught up with the stars who say we are getting eight new episodes with bigger stakes, blockbuster action, and very intense emotion. Three, two, one, go! We're doing things that we've never done before. Are you ready? It's really exciting. It's some of the coolest stuff we've done. I'm sitting down with the stars of Marvel's Daredevil Born Again at Silver Cup Studios in New York City, where these off-screen friends and on-screen arch-rivals are back for the highly anticipated season two. I think it's like a little, it's darker. This felt, this season felt darker. It's a kind of a slower build, but it crescendos in an unbelievable way. It's a very explosive ending. We're gonna take this city back. Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who moonlights as the vigilante Daredevil. Fisk, he's gotting us. Vincent D'Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, the crime boss known as Kingpin. As we speak, our enemies are assembling. He's now the mayor of New York City, where martial law rules. D'Onofrio is a Brooklyn native. I'm thinking about you, like, you know, being a native New Yorker shooting here at home. How does it feel to be in the energy of the city and then bringing that character? I think it's vital for the show. Yeah, it's really vital, yeah. It's almost like the main character of the show is the city. As a New Yorker, you know, I think we're gonna deliver. Thanks to Fisk, New York City is under threat. Daredevil and his allies are fighting from the underground. Can you stop him? Not alone. Much of the show's production is happening right here on the real streets of the city. It's like this huge thing that I don't think we'll ever experience on this kind of scale again. The creators say they're already deep into shooting season three, with both the action and the humanity of the show getting bigger, deeper. Daredevil is very much real people with sort of strange kind of wants and desires and challenges and vulnerabilities. And now we get to dig in on them. D'Onofrio and Cox have been in these roles for more than a decade. With each scene, they say, the stakes are higher. We care so much. We work so hard. And the trajectory of the season is, I think, beautiful. I didn't realize he was a Brit. Yes. And D'Onofrio is a native New Yorker. So being in his hometown, shooting on the streets, they always say this is like Marvel on the street level. Like it's as gritty as it gets. The Hell's Kitchen of it all. This one is really good. Season two of Daredevil, born again, is streaming tonight. The episode airs at 9 p.m. on Disney+. And then every week we get a new one. OK.
