we're here at View, an incredible community built by Christopher Holmes
right here inside the guard-gated community of McDonald Highlands. This
community sits high in the Bacola Mountains and is known for its elevated
home sites with panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas valley including of
course the Las Vegas strip and the surrounding mountain ranges.
McDonald Highlands is a 24-hour guard-gated community centered around
the Dragon Ridge Country Club, a private 18-hole golf course. The state-of-the-art
clubhouse features three unique restaurants, a resort-style pool, a full
fitness center, a tennis complex, and even a grand ballroom where members can host
or attend glamorous events with panoramic strip views. Luxury homes here
typically range from $1 million all the way up past $25 million dollars
depending of course on the lot, the views, and the custom design. But one of the
biggest reasons people choose McDonald Highlands is because of the location.
You get this elevated mountains setting with incredible privacy and views but
you're still close to everything you would need. You're about 25 minutes to
the Las Vegas strip, 20 minutes to the airport, and only about 30 minutes to
Lake Las Vegas. And within six miles you have the district at Green Valley which
offers whole foods, lifetime fitness, and countless
shopping and dining options. This home is currently listed for $2.2
million dollars and offers just over 3,000 square feet of
mid-century modern living space with three bedrooms and three and a half
bathrooms. The design focuses on open concept living
with a mid-century modern flair that you're about to see, but the star of the
show is the views that you get from your backyard. Let's go check it out.
All right you guys, this is a $2.2 million dollar home
in McDonald Highlands. As you can see it is an attached home, it shares a neighbor,
a beautiful desert vibe outside, and as you can see in
from even just the outside with the colorful doors,
it's very mid-century modern vibe. So if that's something you've been looking for
then this could be a good opportunity because you don't see a lot of it
in Vegas. At least I don't. So when you come through this
door, you have a little courtyard here, and it's really surprising that this
front part does not seem like it's going to be a $2.2 million dollar home inside,
but just wait. Here we go. So it's not showing up
super well in the camera, but those glass walls over there, they all open up
and there are some stunning, stunning views of all of the Las Vegas Valley.
Beautiful kitchen. Let's start here. We've got
a three-seater bar. You could probably fit three to four seats here.
It is staged, so they did a good job emphasizing that
mid-century modern feel throughout. Five burner
Bosch range. Microwave, oven, and then convection oven.
And a little window here that peers out to your side yard.
Love that. Adds some natural light in. And then this would kind of be
your pantry. There's not a dedicated pantry in this home, so
these cabinets here would suffice as that. They're super
spacious. They go back far so that you can store lots of things.
And that would be your pantry. And then here would be your
refrigerator. And this overlooks your bar area here. And then the rest of
the great room is over there. Dishwasher, of course, and then several
drawers. So tons of space in this kitchen.
And then it connects nicely over to your living area where you could be
have a game on the TV and be staring out at the view,
host a Super Bowl party here, whatever you wanted to do.
Okay, and then this would be the formal dining room
surrounded by, again, these floor-to-ceiling
sliding doors which I'm going to open up here in a minute to show you how it just
all seamlessly opens. Automatic shutter or
automatic blinds there that just close with a push of a button. And
then down that way are all the ensuite or
all the spare bedrooms. And then this way is the primary suite.
And this will be your wet bar. So here we've got
this wet bar just has a mini refrigerator and a sink.
Let's see if it has... I know people like to
discipline me in the comments about wet bars. So
this one just has just has a sink and a mini fridge. I don't know
if that means that it's a true wet bar, but you can let me know in the comments
down below. Several cabinets though. So we've got all
the drawers there. Two cabinets, cabinet, and then all
of these up top. And, of course, beautiful tile
backsplash paired with the countertop. I can seriously just imagine
just having parties in this house. It's like the perfect
open concept house for hosting and throwing events.
So before we head into all the rooms, let me show you what this would look like
with all the windows open. So, ta-da! So that just brightens it up,
opens it up. I would have these open all the time if
I lived here, but it gives a true indoor-outdoor feel.
So you come out to the covered patio here with
beautiful wood accent on the top. And then the star of the show, you guys.
Absolutely stunning view. We got the strip here. Let me see if I
can zoom in a little bit. The full strip you can see. And then
the mountains over there with the snow capped.
Absolutely beautiful. So this is really what you're buying. I mean the house is
great too, but can't beat this view. And then down below,
so this is elevated, down below you just have
rock. And yeah, you can see how it's elevated.
And then this is the primary suite here that also leads out to the backyard.
And this is what it looks like from the outside.
So let's go check out. I'll save the primary suite for last.
So let's go straight back and check out all of the
bedrooms, the laundry room, all the stuff besides the primary suite.
Tile floor all throughout. Do have a couple step-ups.
So heading straight back, we have the first ensuite.
This one is in the front of the house. Really spacious. So two windows here.
The bed would probably go here. And then a tv
is actually already mounted there. And those are two closets I'll show you in a
minute. But I also want to show you there is a
nice like detailing on the ceiling here. Has a little mid-century modern
touch to it. So here are the closets.
Nice that there's two of them here. This is kind of like
a primary suite in a way. And then we've got
the bathroom. So floating vanity. And then we've got the toilet room and a
walk-in shower. Undermount sink with the nice quartz
countertop. The shower just has the glass door and
it's a pull not a push. Tile all throughout. Single nozzle. It's not
huge. I mean it's very spacious though. Like
it's definitely doable. And then it's got the built-in there.
Okay and then that will be right across from the
toilet room. So that is ensuite bedroom number one.
And then right next door is bedroom number two.
So this one you can see it's kind of a funky shape. This is
diagonal. It's kind of hard to see in the camera but a little bit diagonal. The
bed would probably go here. There's two windows and then the
ensuite bathroom here. And what's really great
about this one. So it has the single vanity with the
floating cabinet. And this is actually a zero edge.
This is a zero edge entry. So there's no tripping hazard here.
This is great if you have a grandma or someone who stays with you
that needs to make sure that they don't trip.
Okay great. And then coming this way. So those were the two of the bedrooms.
There's one more and that's the primary. But down this hallway we have the half
bathroom here with just a toilet. The extended
floating island cabinetry here. Sorry guys it's been a long day.
But not this for a while. Beautiful tile all the way up to
to the ceiling. And then this way we've got
garage. I'll show you in just a minute. But first this is the laundry room.
Washer, dryer, and sink. Lots of cabinetry. So you've got the two there
and then four over here. So four there, four there.
Eight cabinets in the laundry room. And it also shares
a corner with the coat closet that's right across from the garage.
Two-car garage. Beautiful epoxy floor. The frosted glass on the garage. I love
that they do that because it just opens and lightens it up so much in here.
And then a tankless water heater. Water filtration system. All of that fun stuff
is right over there. Okay so then coming back.
That was the front foyer. And then right around here is the primary suite.
Huge primary suite. And of course they put it on the side where you have the
view. Really spacious. It doesn't show up as
spacious unfortunately in the camera here. I just
zoomed out a little bit more. But like I mentioned it does open up to
the backyard and the views. And beautiful it connects to
the bathroom. So they did add curtains there for privacy but
spa. It's like a hotel. It's like a resort hotel.
Really cool. So we have the two floating vanities here. And then also the
the makeup vanity as well. And then that's the other view from the
bathtub. And then here is the shower. Nice tiling
all throughout. Really large space here built out for
storage. And then that was the makeup vanity with the two drawers.
Extra storage here which is always nice. This would be the toilet room.
It's just a toilet. Nice and simple. It's all you need right?
And then here is the closet. Really tall ceilings. I want to say these ceilings
are 12 feet. That's my guess. I'll confirm and have it
on the screen here. But I'm actually impressed by how huge this
primary closet was. I wasn't expecting it. Nice
built-ins in here. Put all the shoes up. Lots of storage.
Drawers. All of that. So it's not a dedicated his and hers but
definitely enough for him and her. I hope you enjoyed that tour.
