This is my first motovlog from Honduras. My journey here started with a little bit of unexpected trouble. But hey, there’s always a solution! Stick around until the end to see how it all smoothed out!

It's my hair. Look, look at this. This matches my hair, doesn't it?
Welcome to Honduras. Yay, we made it. We crossed the border yesterday and straight from the border
I went to this little town, took a hotel because I had to have a shower. I was camping for eight
days straight in El Salvador so I was just like really needed to make myself decent.
And today we have some drama. Look what happened. Look what happened. My USB charger broke
So I had to disconnect it
And that means we have no power for navigation, for charging cameras while we're camping
for nothing. So we're in trouble. But I am in touch with some local riders and they advised me
there is this town not too far from here. Maybe, maybe, maybe possibly we'll be able to get one there
So this is my drama at the start of our Honduras journey. Chillie, that's okay. If this is just the
trouble, it's not a trouble at all. I still love you, you're still the best. We're gonna fix you
very soon, don't worry. And at the beginning of our ride we have a heavy traffic. Chop, chop everyone!
That's the road, road closure, that's why. Oh, there's like a whole new world here I didn't
realize exists. Because this is the town where I stayed, right? There's a lot of roadworks on this road
Are we there yet? We're actually, we are not, our first stop is not too far from here, only 7k
so apparently this is going to be a, I'm not sure if it's an international park or it's just a beautiful valley
view and stuff. Yeah, we're very close by. Okay, I think somewhere here we're gonna have a viewpoint
Oh, oh sorry, sorry Chillie. To the valley, this is very nice. Yeah, I think this is it
It's on the side of the road. Oh, what the hell Chillie, let's pull over here
This is our beautiful view of the valley, unfortunately there won't be any drone shots
in this country or Nicaragua, drones are not allowed here. Santa Rosa is only 70 kilometers away
But it says two hours, because probably, because of the road
There's a lot of roadworks, a lot of dust, that sort of stuff. Okay Chillie, let's keep going
That's it, we made it to our final destination, Santa Rosa. We have a nice view on the right-hand
side. Oh, whoa, whoa, Chillie, oh my god, this traffic is horrendous. I'm done for today, yeah
This is like, it was 70 kilometers, but honestly we were doing it for an hour and a half for sure
All right, I think we're in the heart of town now, this looks like a biggish set of town and
tomorrow I will have an appointment with a mechanic here, but first let's get a hotel
Oh, look at this shop, hairdresser, there was a hairdresser, I bet we'll need one soon
Uh, this looks like an old town, looks like an old road, okay, right, I don't know, I have this hotel
Take the next left onto Calle 1 South East, then turn right to stay on Calle 1 South East
What ifs, I don't even know when I marked it and how I marked it, but I marked it, so I'm going to
check this hotel first. The most important thing is parking for Chillie, of course. Righto, righto
Let's go this way, Chillie. Your destination is on the right
I like it, because it's got parking for you, Chillie, and it's undercover, and it's got a restaurante, I don't know if it's open, but
let's find out. This is good, Chillie, I've got a good feeling about it. Oh, well done, honey, that was a tiring ride
We're in, the room here is only $30, bargain, and look, I'm just looking at my forehead now
This is like the gap between the helmet and the goggles, I followed so many tracks that got dust
on my forehead, which hardly ever happens, actually it never happens because I never follow anyone
in the dust, usually, but not today. Apparently, there's uptown with an old town, do you know what I mean?
Like, if we follow up the road, we're gonna get to old town, so fine, let's go for a walk and eat something
because I'm starving, but I need to make myself decent first. Okay, I made myself decent, we can go now
We're going uptown, this is what we see here, I like this place, maybe we should eat there
They have bike parking, that's very thoughtful of them. Right, and this is the little street
Oh, there's so many shops here, but they're sort of like, yeah, you can't tell they're here because
it's an old town. What's wrong with this town? I was expecting it to be like, you know, smallish sort of town
Not much happening, but there's just so many good shops and yeah, so well supplied shops here
And this, I think, electrical posts, it's just an artwork, I think, every time I look at a
post like this, I'm thinking, who the hell knows what's going on there? I'm guessing this is the
main church, and here on the other side, we have the park, and it's very green, it's so cool and clean
I must say this town is very clean. I love it here, this town's got such a nice vibe
Good morning, we're good to go, we all packed up. So, first thing we have to do in the morning is to go
to Juan. Juan is a local mechanic, who I've been put touch through, put in touch through, oh my god, you
know what I mean, and so I connected with Juan through local B&W riders, the beauty of being
a part of motorcycle B&W community, they're the best, there are B&W clubs literally in nearly in
every country I went through. So yeah, guys were so kind to give me all the tips, and they told me
Juan is the man, and he's got a USB charger here for me, so we're going to see him now, and
I'm gonna install that, and then, ah who knows, I have some suggestions, adios!
All right, I think somewhere here, this is Juan, that looks like a bike shop, doesn't it?
I'm not sure, this is it. Juan? No, no, um Juan, the mechanic, no?
Juan Miguel?
And I have made it to Juan's shop, this is Juan, mucho gusto.
Right, so this is it, we have a very, so Juan managed to organize a very simple USB charger,
which is kind of got a waterproof cap, so it's okay, one like that.
Chili, look at you, getting this one now.
That's it, it's on, Chili's got power, we connected it directly to the battery, we have a fuse, but
this cap won't switch it off, so it will be always live, that's okay, it's only temporary,
it will drain the battery a little bit, but I need this power when I stop, because I need to
charge things when I stop, so um, yep, that's it, it's fixed, muchas gracias.
And look at that, Juan's got a Harley. Juan is doing it, it's not easy, she's like very
Oh, nice, love your work Juan, because it's very steep, great service,
included reversing my bike, I love it, good job, it's okay, it's okay,
well done, right, we're all good to go, so if you ever find yourself here, Santa Rosa,
that's right, we're in Santa Rosa, so if you find yourself in Santa Rosa and you need help,
apparently Juan is the best mechanic in town, and his shop name is
Taylor Bertie, si? Si! Chili, Chili, I can't believe, oh, oh, Juan!
So the first one didn't last, it's just the quality of that USB charger, but you never
guess, 15 minutes later, someone brought to the workshop another USB charger, and this is exactly
what I need, the one with the switch, so we can turn it on and off, so Juan is working on that
one now, hopefully this one's going to last longer. Chili, behave, don't blow it this time.
It's so steep here!
I think it's just the quality,
that's unlucky, okay, driving in, this one didn't last either, I don't know Chili,
maybe third time we'll be lucky, we ran out of options of our USB chargers in this town, so
now Juan's going to adopt a car, sort of, you know, the car, like one, so we're going to try to adopt
this one now, but the problem with that one is that waterproof, it won't last long I think,
but it is what it is, we have to just give it a go, I think he literally took it out of his car,
try to install it, oh perfect, yeah, and we are done, so this is Juan's invention, here we go,
he pulled this from his car, seriously, and then he gave me this, and this is a quick fast charging,
so basically, that's it, we're doing old school way, hopefully this time it will work,
that's okay, all right, third time lucky, hopefully,
oh sorry, okay, and we ran,
it's working, thank you so much, gracias, all right, adios, okay, yep, we're charging,
Chili, we have to do it the old-fashioned way
