At home today, stands are packed. Lube in black, getting us underway. Trentino receiving in white. Spertoli, first touch, a pipe attack. And Jordi Rath, 2.10m, absolute giant of a man. Generates that angle on the float serve. Bristot receives, and that is sent to ground by Flavio. Nice side-out start for both teams. Oh, I like that a lot. Makes it a Desmond, 2-2. 3-3. Oh, there's a block. Valdez. Oh, monster block. Gargiulo gets the first of the day. There is the break point. The two point. Oh, that's a touch off the block. Didn't look too troublesome, but the situation. Rescued by Nikolov. Fearless, always fearless. 7-8, Civitanova. Siding out to maintain the break point. Lead, that's dropped. In. Oh, that's a block for you. 9-8. Civitanova looking to take us to Brooklyn. Although. Oh, they do it with a block. 9-9. On the pipe. That's a nice pass in. Tuck into space. Set off the knees. And Civitanova turning around. Nikolov, the man from all occasions. But that a real team effort. Wasn't an ace, but caused a high pressure reception. That one less so. Bristot receives. Théophoque. Oh, that is immaculate from the Frenchman. It's another great serve from Bortolo. But the dig. Keeps Trentino in the fight. Oh, one of you's got to get the first touch. Spertoli runs towards it. Bristot runs away from it. 21-18. Good touch on that by the Brazilian. Okay, 19-21. To deliver from the service line. Oh, it's into the net. Second set underway. Bristot serving into Boninfante. 3-1. Make that 3-2. 4-4. Oh, that'll be an ace serve. Oh, will it? No. What a chase. It's a free ball though. And Trentino have to take these chances. And Théophoque does exactly that. Another good serve. Trentino need to get off this rotation. Get back on the scoreboard. And it's not going to happen that time. Chivite, Danova. Another good serve from Foch. This will take some scoring. Oh, well recycled. And he's not going to make another mistake, is he? I mean, he is just always going to try and make something. 20-13. And Nikolov still taking no prisoners. Ramon! Oh, monster block! Ten attacks, one block, one service ace. But it feels like more than one service ace because the amount of serves that have come over on one. First swing for Gabi Garcia. Goes the other way this time. Another great Libero touch. You are kidding me! Alex Nikolov from backcourt. Four meters off the net. And they still can't stop. Oh, and another one. Another one, another one, another one. 14-23. 14-24. Set point. Oh, it's done. It is not only done, it is dusted. And Trentino. It's a go-to up in the series. Bottle up. Wearing 21, serving first in the third set. Trentino needs some momentum from somewhere. Once again, the Libero having a great time out there. Well, you know it's going to be your day. If you can turn passes and sets like that into points. Kukartsev. Great to see him out there getting some minutes and playing well. Touch. Not a clean attack, though. Decent serve, but feels as though Shibutanova can deal with anything and everything at the moment. Oh, another beautiful block. Nikolov, 9-4. Oh, great set. Is there a big net touch there? Bela Barta. Oh, that's recycled. Oh, hello. Hello! 15-12. Big serve. Big save. Oh, they're really trying here, Trentino. But this is going to come back with smoke on it. From Kukartsev. 19-17. Oh, what a hand on that. So good from Spertoli. And again, Shibutanova take their eye off the ball and Trentino are back within one point. That's a good serve as well. This far from a given for Lube. Unbelievable effort. Lorenzano sends it high. In it goes to Boninfante. And that just had to be done. Alex Nikolov. Two blocks, four attacks, no aces. Not going to get an ace this time either. Oh, the block. That's the game changer. In the quest for the Scudetto. It's match point. And that ball's gone long. Trentino have rolled back.
