Kyle Tucker hits his first home run with the Dodgers during 2026 Spring Training! 💪 - MLB Highlights

Last year was with Great Lakes, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. He was with Hi-A, Double-A, Triple-A in the Dodgers organization last year. Signed with the Dodgers in 2017 out of the Dominican Republic as a teenager. Facing Kyle Tucker. One ball, one strike to Tucker. Tucker's been on base twice. He's walked both times. The team's deal is a challenge. So our first challenge of the game comes from Mitch Garver. Wow, that's close. Yeah, he's smiling. He says, yep, I did that. We've talked a lot about what umpires are thinking. Their call is challenge. How about the guy that challenged the umpire? Well, you know, it's good for the catcher and the pitcher, but it's also, I think, something that the hitter needs to make notes about. Whether they thought it was a strike or not to begin with, and then what the result of the call was. Pitch clock violation. Make the count full. This is the technological at bat of the season so far. ABS, one pitch. Pitch clock violation right after. I don't know if Ortiz has GPS attached to his shoes, but you won't have any trouble tracking him. No. The batteries go on the heel somewhere. They're bright. And Tucker hammers one to center field. This ball heading back toward the wall. It is gone off the batter's eye. A home run for Kyle Tucker, his first of the spring. And the Dodgers take a 4-3 lead. And something the Dodgers don't really have to have from Kyle Tucker. And they're talking about the home runs. Oh, they're going to come. He has power, and I think unheralded power in golf fields. But he just simply had a great advantage. And he just powered this one. He knew it was gone when he hit it. Hit pretty high up off the bat.
