In this NY STORY series, Sil Curiati visits the new temporary Louis Vuitton flagship in Manhattan. The store is jaw-dropping, and although it was impossible to buy all the things I loved–at the moment, of course ;-)–I managed to get something for myself.
Watch it until the end to see how much it would have cost me to buy the items I marked, and guess what I got!

We're all familiar with incredible digital experiences today.
From AI interactions to gaming and virtual reality,
having fun from the comfort of your house has never been so easy.
However, smart brands are not betting all their chips on it.
Some brands are even rescuing their brick-and-mortar locations as main hubs
to host the brand's heritage and story.
Hi, I'm Silvia Curiati.
My hair looks awful.
This is New York Story.
And today, we'll go shopping together on Fifth Avenue.
It's so windy.
I hate to have bangs on windy days.
So here's the deal.
I have a pretty decent budget.
It's near Christmas and I think I deserve a treat.
We are here to visit the new temporary Louis Vuitton flagship on Fifth Avenue.
Let's check out how unique this luxurious experience is.
But before we go in, make sure you like this video and subscribe to my channel.
So today, I won't give you all the details about the store and the decor and everything else.
Many sites, many publications have already done that.
So if you're curious about anything, just Google it.
I just think it's worth mentioning that this pile of trunks that you're seeing here
is not the location we are visiting.
This is actually covering the construction of what's gonna be
Louis Vuitton flagship store in a few years.
Some say three, some say two, some say even seven.
But that's not the store yet.
The store we are visiting is temporary.
The LVMH Group has been using the former Nike Town building while they revamped their stores.
That happened with Tiffany.
And you see here this new flagship, which is incredible.
And now it's happening with Louis Vuitton.
The animals and carousel in the facade is a tribute to the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition,
where George Vuitton presented trunks and travel items under a carousel draped in blue velvet.
Enough with the talk.
Let's get in.
And I want you to guess down below in the comments, what am I buying for me?
If I had bought all the things that I loved and...
Oh, look at this.
Okay, if I had bought all the things that I loved and that I showed you in this video,
that's how much it would cost me.
But I'm super happy with my gift and I'm even more excited about the experience.
I think a luxury experience in person is much more fun than only digital.
What about you?
