McKenna Grace on Playing Daphne in New Live-Action 'Scooby-Doo' Netflix Series | Oscars 2026

Are you feeling like the belle of the ball here tonight at the Oscars? I don't know. I'm just feeling nervous and so excited. This has always been my dream to come and attend the Oscars. It's such a crazy, surreal moment to get to be here. What's a film or performance that you're rooting for tonight? A film performance? God, I don't know. Of course I've got to root for Elle Fanning. I'm obsessed with her. I'm also rooting for Diane Warren. I don't know. It's so hard because all of the nominees for Best Picture were so good this year. I don't know. One battle after another, but also Sinners and The Begonia was crazy. Emma Stone in that was wild. I don't know, but all I know is I'm definitely rooting for Elle. And I'm asking everyone, what's on your Oscars bucket list tonight? What needs to happen by the end of the night for it to be good night? And I will tell you, Mason said for him it's shake Leonardo DiCaprio's hand. Well, then that's mine the same. I have Leo on my walls. God, I don't know. I am such a fan. It's hard to get around in this dress and these heels, but I am about to sneak around and meet everybody that I'm a fan of. I'm so excited. Also, my bucket list tonight is that I have pockets and I brought Pokemon cards because I figured that nobody's ever opened Pokemon cards at the Oscars before. And so I thought that'd be really funny. Wait, I love that. You're like, I'm going to be the first one to do it. Set a world record, I guess if you say that. Yeah, I also love your dress. I love this bow. It's so cute. Oh my gosh, you are so sweet. Thank you. And I mean, this has been such a booked and busy era for you. How would you describe this era of your career? I don't know. It's been wild. I've been so fortunate over my career to have, you know, consistently been jumping around. But this year has been like on a different level. It's been so wild because I got to be a part of so many things that are on such a grand scale and also that I'm such a big fan of. And not only that, but also like films that I did like two or three years ago are coming out now and it's like everything all at once. And so it's been so incredible. It's been crazy. I'm so grateful and thankful. And I just like, I don't know, I treat everything like it's the last time I could ever work and the last time I ever stepped foot in here. So I'm just like, I don't know, I'm taking it all in. And how incredible is it to be playing Daphne? I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I love Daphne. I dressed up as her like for two or three Halloweens. I'm obsessed with Daphne. She's my favorite character. I'm so beyond. I'm so beyond. Yeah, I'm ecstatic. I'm just going to re-watch like every Scooby-Doo movie and series ever now. Oh my god, I love that so much. That was the best reaction ever. I'm so excited!
