Jonny Walker vs Mario Roman | Wild Woods Extreme 2023 Italian Hard Enduro Chaos

Wild Woods Extreme Enduro 2023 opens the Italian hard enduro season at Pro Park Genova with mud, steep climbs and deep gullies made even worse by rain before the race, turning the course into a slippery survival test from the first heat to the final. The event uses a two-heat format and a final race for the 15 fastest riders, making it one of the more interesting early-season hard enduro weekends and giving the main race extra pressure right from the start.

Mario Roman comes out on top in the two-hour final ahead of Jonny Walker and Dominik Olszowy, with the front of the field dealing with technical lines, muddy climbs and rough gullies that punish every missed line or loss of momentum. Wild Woods has a strong reputation inside Italian hard enduro, and the 2023 edition drew extra attention because it brought in international names just before the Hard Enduro World Championship season began.
