This Beer is Fighting Polio

What does craft beer have to do with ending polio?

The Evanston Nouveau Rotary Club partnered with Sketchbook Brewing Company to create Purple Pinkie — a witbier brewed with coriander and pomegranate juice, inspired by ingredients from Pakistan and Afghanistan, where polio eradication work continues today.
The beer's name and label reference the purple ink used to mark immunized children during vaccination campaigns.
