Musical Genre Challenge with Demi Lovato (Extended) | The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Welcome back, we're here with Demi Lovato! Demi, you're no stranger to switching up genres. You've got number one albums in pop, rock, even dance music. So I thought it'd be fun to switch up genres more. That's right, it's time for a musical genre challenge. Here we go. Here's how it works, okay? We're going to take turns hitting this button here, which will activate the random genre generator. Okay, it'll land on one random song title, one random musical genre. Whoever's turn it is has to sing that song in that style. Sound okay? It's good? Yeah, let's go. Here we go, all right. I will go first. All right, wait. Golden, golden, but a country-fied version of golden. Quest, Roots, what are you? I'm shining like I'm born to be. Hard for me to do. I didn't know we were doing those lines. I didn't even know those lines. All right, it's your turn. Die on this hill by Santa Spyro. It's a diva ballad. I got this. All right, of course you do. Yeah, very nice. I'll take my pride. Just see if you take my life. Just for the thrill. I'll take tonight and die on. Oh, my gosh. Why would I play this game with you? Oh, my gosh. I'm gonna do golden again. Oh, my gosh. That's amazing. You're awesome. All right, my turn. Here we go. Wow. Okay. American Girls, I like that. Harry Styles as a Yacht Rock. Roots, what do you got? Like a doobie? Take us home, buddy. Go for it, bud. Take us home. Do it. Yep. Sorry, Not Sorry by Demi Lovato. I love Demi Lovato. Thank you. Done, an 80s new wave. Okay, let's do it. Roots, what should that be? Like a... Yeah, yeah. Like a dorky. Baby, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry. Baby, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry. Being so bad got me feeling so good. Showing you up like I knew that I would. Baby, I'm sorry. Not sorry. Baby, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry. Feeling inspired because the tables have turned. Yeah, I'm on fire and I know that it burns. Sorry, not sorry. That's all the time we have for Musical Genre Challenge. Give it up for Demi Lovato. We'll be right back with more Tonight Show, everybody.
