The Prince and Princess of Wales took a trip to the Bermondsey Beer Mile and tried their hand at brewing beer and pulling pints.

The Bermondsey Beer Mile is a renowned South London walking route featuring over 20 craft breweries, taprooms, and bottle shops nestled in the heart of Southwark, which has been a central hub for London’s brewing industry since the 17th century.

Their Royal Highnesses visited Southwark Brewing Company which was founded in 2014 by Peter Jackson and was one of the first five breweries on the Beer Mile. While visiting the Highnesses also wished a happy birthday to another William, Peter’s son.

The Prince and Princess also visited Fabal Beerhall. Fabal is the latest venture of Hiver Beers. Hiver Beers is a London-based craft beer brand, founded by Hannah Rhodes that started with a simple but distinctive idea: use raw British honey, sourced exclusively from independent UK beekeepers, as a core brewing ingredient.

The Princess opened up about not drinking alcohol since her diagnosis.
