I guess it was inevitable.
It's obviously bittersweet.
We sold her.
The car is gone.
On one end, this is the most excited that I've been in years.
But on the flip side, it's, you know, it's the end of a chapter.
It's the end of an era, but it's also a new beginning.
It's a new, dare I say, lease on life.
And I look back and I reflect, and I'm kind of disappointed in myself.
When I got this car, I said I was going to keep it forever.
And that didn't happen.
But on the flip side, what an opportunity.
I got to own one of the coolest cars in the world.
I'm going to go back 10 years, 2015.
I'm sitting there in Las Vegas.
I have a couple thousand subscribers.
And around the corner, Lewis Hamilton, the reigning F1 world champion on the Gumball
3000, is driving the coolest car that I've ever seen in my entire life.
And then a couple days later, on the top floor of the Bellagio parking garage, I'm jump starting
this car with my Audi TT.
What?
And then fast forward 10 years later.
And that car's sitting in this garage.
You know, cars, they're more than just transportation.
There's so much history and memories, and for some cars, they're almost an extension
of you.
And for this car, it was the representation of everything, all the peaks and the valleys
of the last 10 years of my life.
And she's gone.
And we sold her.
But what an opportunity.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have sold VIN number 99.
We have sold the Koenigsegg Agera HH.
Now in my last video, my dad's truck was fully restored, and when I was editing that video,
I was going through old footage, and I was looking through external hard drives, one
after another, and I have a stack like this big of old footage, just terabytes and terabytes
and terabytes.
And I find this one external hard drive that I haven't seen in forever, somehow it was
at the bottom of the box, and I'm going through footage, I'm like, man, a lot of this footage
is from 2015.
And then I find the video that never got uploaded here on YouTube, and I'm not going to play
the whole thing, I'm just going to play a couple short clips.
I'm standing there, 10 years younger, on the top floor of the Bellagio Park.
You know what?
I'm just going to play the footage.
You know what?
Play the footage.
Hey guys, I'm the Stradman here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pretty funny situation.
We're jumping the Koenigsegg Agera HH with my Audi TT.
Battery's dead on the Koenigsegg.
Let's see if this can let them get inside.
So there was no stud underneath?
No, there's no stud underneath.
This is the coolest!
That is to own a Koenigsegg.
Today's food vlog, we're having lunch with Christian von Koenigsegg.
The pizza was incredible.
Christian, how was yours?
It was fantastic.
Yeah, the ultimate food vlog.
Thank you, Christian.
I feel so fortunate, so grateful, I got invited by Koenigsegg Automotive to witness history.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS is going to attempt the unthinkable.
Unequivocally, the greatest car experience of my entire life, the Koenigsegg Agera.
There's something about this car that makes me just want to work every single day so I
can somehow, someway afford this car.
And mark my words, someday I will be taking delivery of my Koenigsegg Agera.
It might be in 10 years, it might be in 40 years.
Congratulations, Christian.
Thank you.
Congrats.
Yeah, what do you think?
Now some of you guys might be asking the question, then why am I selling the car?
If I love the car, if it's my dream car and I got all this history with the car, why am
I selling the car?
And I think a lot of car guys can relate to this.
Sometimes, what's in here, this ain't listening.
The heart ain't listening and the heart is leading the brain and the brain should be
leading the heart.
Financially, the Koenigsegg was killing me.
I couldn't afford it.
And does that hurt the ego a little bit?
Absolutely.
The payments were crushing me.
I couldn't afford it, I couldn't justify it, I had no business owning a car like that.
No regrets.
Because as I keep saying, what an opportunity.
We own a Koenigsegg.
We leased a Koenigsegg.
Whatever.
It doesn't matter.
We leased it.
So we're headed off to Miami.
We're going to go see Gabe.
We're going to go see John Tamarian.
We're going to go to Curated.
And we're going to see the Agera HH for one final time.
One final hurrah.
For Lauderdale local time, 3.50pm.
Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened and carry native stone.
Until the captain...
Oh, it's been a long, long time.
And of course, right up front, oh, MC12?
What?
Mercy SV?
Are you kidding me?
And a man on a scooter.
Welcome to Curated.
My, oh my.
Is this heaven?
Only in Miami.
The interior on this car is one of the craziest spec scooterias I've ever seen.
And we were just talking how maybe the two greatest cars are 430 Scud and Mercy SV.
But now we got an MC12.
What in the world?
I feel like I'm delaying the inevitable right now because I don't want to cry on camera, Gabe.
I don't want to shed a tear.
You're going to tear me up too, man.
Oh, man.
This is such a special car.
I mean, the history of this car, it goes back to 2015.
But it's headed to a good home.
The new owner is very, very excited.
I can kind of see her through the glass right now.
The 105, the 101, the 156, the Koenigsegg.
Wrong Koenigsegg.
Only at Curated.
The Agera HH.
Oh, man.
That Monterey Blue is just glistening.
Curated, if you guys have never been, if you live in Miami, if you've been to Miami, you've got to come here someday.
It is the craziest showroom known to man.
But here she is, the Agera HH.
I'm getting emotional.
I know.
I'm getting emotional here, bro.
Cars are so sentimental because all the memories.
We did the Curated rally in this thing from Park City up to Jackson Hole.
That was the ultimate rally.
That was peak rally.
It was so peak.
Peak rally.
Oh, it was absolutely gorgeous.
We had such an incredible time.
This car ran absolutely perfect.
We went, what, 55 miles an hour maybe once or twice?
You know, that's, I promise, that's all we ever did.
I cannot thank Gabe, the team at Curated.
Dude, thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
I'm going to play the montage.
See you again.
It's good to see you again, yeah.
No, because this car, this was like the dream.
Yeah, this is a chapter, man.
I had no business.
Honestly, I had no business ever owning this car.
But when the opportunity, I couldn't say no.
I had to.
I had to stretch the budget.
I had to stretch the limits of what I could do.
And we did it for two and a half years.
But the stress was just too much.
Now, don't worry.
The car does fire up.
But carbon monoxide is not very good.
So we're just trying to do what we can to save a little bit of lung life.
You know what I'm talking about.
There's a page on Instagram called MercilagoSV.Registry.
And it looks like he has found 268 cars out of 308.
Okay, so 308.
Okay, yeah.
That's right.
Because the Urban Legend was 186.
308 is a lot more.
That's a lot more than 186.
But not quite the 350.
Not quite.
Okay.
But somebody is going through and documenting it.
I'd love to see it.
Yeah.
And the Arancio looks so good.
Oh, sweet baby.
There's something about the sound of this car that brings back so many memories.
That turbo whistle, that Monterey Blue, all the carbon.
Just love the evil eyes on the Koenigsegg Agera.
And, of course, those dihedral doors.
We've got to hop on in real quick.
Nicely done.
Oh, yeah.
No, not my first rodeo, baby.
That is for sure.
We've got to lock the roof in place.
But we're just driving down the street to the studio.
So Rolls-Royce Casually in Monterey Blue almost.
Basically.
We're going to call it that.
I just love the visceral feel of the Koenigsegg.
And the sound of that thing.
Oh, this is it, boys.
The final hurrah in the Agera HH.
I will say the Miami Sun just hits a little bit different in company with the Rambo Lambo
and that Testarossa.
So the car is staying in the state of Florida.
So she's sold and staying here in Florida.
Oh, the sound of those turbos.
Dude, this light box is so sick.
Everything looks like glass.
Gabey, you've never looked more fresh.
Wow, Gabey.
We're going to have to slow that down.
A little instant replay right there.
Dude, what a car, man.
Look at this thing.
Dude, just the sound of the Koenigsegg.
Just the rumble.
The deep rumble.
It just wants to go, go, go, go.
And that turbo whistle, too, at the same time.
I know.
It's so good.
I have never heard a car that has a turbo whistle quite like this Agera.
So this is really cool.
And I think I mentioned this in a video maybe a couple years ago.
So this video right here, I posted this on October 2, 2015.
This is the day I am picking up my Lamborghini Gallardo from Newport Beach.
Wow.
Hit play.
No way.
The intro clip is the Agera HH.
Come on, man.
That's the intro clip.
10 years ago, buying the Gallardo, the car that started my channel.
I'm sitting in some Motel 6 in Palm Springs, California, editing that video.
And I put these clips of this car as the intro scene.
And then 10 years later, she's mine.
Isn't that crazy?
Dude.
It just goes to show that anything's possible, right?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, Gabe.
We got the official news.
What?
It's official.
It's actually sold.
The wire came real.
The car is sold.
We have the wire right here.
Koenigsegg Agera is paid.
Oh, it's bittersweet, but overall, it's exciting.
Thank you.
Thank you, man.
Thank you.
Dude, thank you so much.
That is turbo sound.
Breathe it in.
One last time, boys.
Oh, I'm going to miss.
So much.
Yeah, Gabey.
Couple more, Gabey.
Couple more.
Well, this is pretty much officially it.
We are very lucky.
We're going to go for one final ride in the Agera HH.
And I need to pose the question.
Is it better to have loved and lost or never loved at all?
I think we all know the answer to that one.
I think we do.
I am going to miss her.
But like I keep saying, it's better to love.
And of course, the iconic beeping sound of the front end lift.
Just love it.
Oh, this car is such a visceral experience.
That single center windshield wiper.
And of course, here in Miami, they got 93.
Come on, Utah.
You got to level up your game.
We need that 91 out of there.
That 93 in reverse.
You got a downshift, of course.
What in the Florida?
$5.59 a gallon?
You know what?
By my house, it's like $3.20.
Oh, it's downtown.
It's not a place to get gas.
Right, because in Utah, it's around $3 for 91.
Not 93.
It's an unfair comparison.
I have driven home with very, very low amounts of gas to save the $2 a gallon.
To save a few dollars.
Also, this Monterey blue.
The sun.
I don't know where all the clouds went this morning.
The sun has come out to bless our eyes.
This Monterey blue.
Lamborghini Monterey blue.
This paint has so much depth to it.
I think one of the hardest parts about selling this car, there's so many what-if scenarios.
Had I worked maybe a little harder.
Had I posted more videos.
Had I not bought a crashed Ferrari A12.
All these decisions.
All these what-if scenarios.
That's one of the hardest parts about selling this car.
There's so much regret.
Because had I worked harder, could I have figured out a way to keep her?
But you know what?
Sometimes in life, you can't live with a regret.
You just have to accept the situation.
The events.
And you have to feel so lucky and so fortunate that you had the opportunity to own the car.
And that's where I'm at right now.
I'm so sad to say bye to this car.
But I also feel so grateful.
And so lucky.
Giving this profile.
That is one of the coolest profiles you'll ever see.
Well, this is officially goodbye.
We are saying bye to the Agera HH.
Oh, you hate to see her go.
But you love to watch her leave.
Well, it's my lucky day here at Curated.
We're going to take the Mercy SV to kind of, I guess, break the sorrows of selling the Koenigsegg.
In good company.
Random F40.
Berlinetta Boxer.
Countach.
Diablos as far as you can see.
But we're going to go get some pizza in the Mercy Lago Super Veloce.
The doors are so light compared to my 40th.
All the carbon fiber.
This color is beautiful.
There's like 10 of these in Arancio.
I just love how you see everything at Curated.
Yes, that is a Lamborghini Jalpa right there.
550.
Testarossa.
Countach.
And as we continue to reverse, it gets better and better.
We got Gabe Scuderia.
White SE30.
And then Diablo SVs.
Another 40th.
I've seen like 4 40ths.
And there's only 50 of them ever.
Just living the life down here in Florida in a Mercy Lago Super Veloce.
That's right.
That guy gets it.
Oh my gosh.
Corsa mode.
That's right.
Corsa mode in a Mercy Lago SV right here.
Steven knows what he's up.
Oh my goodness.
That single clutch will knock your hat off.
Dude, look at that wagon.
You want to talk about a throwback of the wood paneling?
Speaking of which.
What is that?
What do we have there?
You tell me.
You're better at silhouettes.
I know the car, so I can't give it away.
Is that a Miura?
No.
Not quite.
Miura doesn't have a diffuser.
Oh, it doesn't have a diffuser.
What in the world is that?
I think because I was with Steven, that's why I was thinking Miura or Bizzerini or something crazy.
Ford GT.
It's a 05 Ford GT with a Mercy SV.
Honestly, when you think about the best generation of cars, 2000s.
2000s.
Or 90s.
90s or 2000s.
I'm a 2000s.
I think so.
You've got a little bit of the computers, just enough.
But you get the analog feel that you want, but enough that you can live with.
Exactly.
Not overbearing.
Exactly.
I need both, honestly.
I had one of those.
I sold it.
I shouldn't have sold it.
I need one of those.
You wouldn't mind, Katie.
Oh, now we're talking.
Oh, sweet baby, Steven.
Where did you bring us?
I'm going to cry more about this than you care.
It looks like it's from Italy.
It does.
Authentic, here in Miami.
Alright.
Yep.
I'm sold.
Steven, you're a great salesman.
All you do, one pull and a Mercy SV.
Where do I send the Venmo, the Zelle?
Where do I send the wire?
Oh, I guess it's probably...
Yeah, a wire.
I don't think Venmo or Zelle.
I don't think the balance.
I don't think you can send a couple million.
Maybe.
Give it a feet scape.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
Bro.
It's so good, guys.
You know, everyone's always yapping about the double clutch transmission.
Oh, this car shifts in half a second, millisecond, whatever it is.
Nonsense, right?
This.
No, this is the one.
You feel it.
This is what you want.
You feel it.
It's positive engagement.
It's one of the ways that the cars, as we get more disconnected from the cars, this still
gives you the feedback that we really want.
Yep, yep.
Keep preaching, brother.
Keep on preaching.
And, of course, that front row service next to the CCX behind the MC12.
Could you imagine seeing that thing in traffic?
What in the world?
Well, Steven, from me to the audience to you, we thank you.
Thank you.
That was incredible.
That was so much fun.
Thank you.
Should we put it on this truck and send it to Utah?
Um, I think we got a little budget left over from the Agera.
Maybe we crunch some numbers.
We can crunch some numbers.
Do a little accounting.
Work the Excel spreadsheets.
We can do that.
But, man, it is tempting.
What an absolute machine.
The Arancio Atlas Murcielago Super Veloce.
It's Borealis.
I thought this was Atlas.
No, no, no.
Open the trunk.
Gabe.
No, no, no.
It's Atlas.
It's a Murcielago.
They didn't do Borealis.
That was on the Gallardo, Gabe.
You're slipping.
I can't wait to be wrong right now.
Oh, if Steven thinks it's Atlas, it's Atlas.
Arancio Atlas.
Wow.
It's all right, Gabe.
No, you win 99% of the time.
You always win.
Listen, man.
You're the Lambo guy, dude.
You're the Lambo collector.
All right.
How many Lambos you got?
Uh, we can't name all of them yet.
You know, I...
No, no, no.
They don't need to know.
Educate us.
So was Borealis the Gallardo color?
Yes.
Uh-huh.
Seeing this MC-12 now on the showroom and seeing how wide this thing is and, like, these
knife edges, like, as thin as a razor right there.
This is such a cool car.
All the louvers.
Why put five louvers when you could have, like, 15 of them?
Wow.
These things are only going up and up and up and up.
I remember at one point these were, like, less than 2 million.
That is long, long, long gone.
Well, from the Mercy SV, we got one final drive in the green Scuderia.
What was the color called?
Verde Pino.
Not infused with Arancio Borealis.
No, no, no.
No.
Well, I think that is pretty much going to wrap it up.
The Verde Scuderia with the 40th anniversary Mercy Lago.
We officially say bye to the Koenigsegg Agera.
It is sad, but it means a new beginning, a new chapter, a new book.
But on that bombshell, today's video is over.
Roof CTR.
Anniversary.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
We got to get this perfect.
Oh, that is beautiful.
That's deer skin?
Yeah.
Wait, this is deer skin?
Yep.
Wow.
No way.
Yeah, gave one out to Utah a couple years ago.
Is that houndstooth in there?
Yep.
You see, I know some Porsche things.
Pepita.
You want a job?
Where was Hamilton on the Gumball 3000?
I was there.
In Vegas.
There were some pretty big rumors that he got pulled over doing quite the number.
There was.
I also heard a rumor that he ran out of gas, allegedly, in Death Valley.
Yes, he got pulled over, allegedly, in Death Valley.
Allegedly at a number that was over 200 perhaps miles an hour.
It was slightly over the speed limit.
We'll leave it at that, right?
Were there statute limitations on that?
I don't know.
Can't get over, like, the colors.
Everything in Utah is dead.
Here, the green, the blue sky, the Mercy SV there in the side mirror.
Super Veloce.
And we're getting pizza.
Like, life is good.
Koenigsegg is sold, and that's sad.
But pizza, especially Strad pizza, can cure your sorrows.
Not a paid product placement.
I own the shop.
