
Ending Foreign Complicity in China’s Organ Transplant Abuse Through Law | David Matas
David Matas is an internationally respected human rights lawyer and author who has spent decades defending vulnerable communities and exposing human rights abuses around the world.
He is the author of eleven books, including landmark works on organ transplant abuse in China. He co-authored Bloody Harvest: The Killing of Falun Gong for Their Organs with David Kilgour, a groundbreaking investigation that brought global attention to allegations of forced organ harvesting. He also co-edited State Organs: Transplant Abuse in China with Torsten Trey, further documenting evidence and analysis of these abuses.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to human rights and justice, Mr. Matas was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada, one of the country’s highest civilian honors.
