Arriving Completely Underdressed to Stay at a Tudor Castle

We stayed at Thornbury Castle in Gloucestershire, a Tudor castle hotel in England and slept in the Catherine of Aragon suits which has the biggest four-poster bed in Britain.

We experienced what it feels like to spend the night in a place with more than 500 years of history. Even Henry VIII stayed here for ten days with Anne Boleyn in 1535. Was ist magical, atmospheric - or maybe even a little bit spooky?

The next morning we explored more of the castle and its gardens and finished our stay with a traditional afternoon tea.
