Please play responsibly. Must be 18 years or older to purchase, play, or claim.
Welcome back into the program. We're going to hop right down to North Carolina.
J.D. Vance, Vice President, about to speak. Let's listen.
Thank you, Michael, for everything that you're doing.
For our great congressional candidate in this district, Laurie Buckout.
Where are you, Laurie? Thank you so much. It's good to see you.
An officer in our military and now a person who wants to serve this great district
and actually do something good for the people of this district instead of just voting with Nancy Pelosi,
which is exactly what Don Davis does every single day. He's in Washington, D.C.
So, Laurie, thank you. We're going to talk a little bit more about your race here in a second.
But a lot of you know that this state has a very special place in my heart
because I grew up in a poor family. I was raised by my grandmother.
And then when I graduated from high school back in 2003, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
And I really spent the first four years of my adulthood not too far from here
in the eastern part of our state, becoming a young Marine and, frankly, becoming a young man.
And I'll never forget one of the first major purchases I ever made in my entire life
was when I wanted to buy, for the first time, I wanted to buy my own car as a young Marine.
I was probably 19 years old. And I go to one of these off-base used car dealerships.
And I find a Honda Civic. It's practical. It's cheap. It does everything I need it to do.
And I'm going to get the dealer's low, low interest rate financing of 21 percent.
And by the grace of God, I had a great United States Marine Corps gunnery sergeant, Gunny Arledge.
I went back. I said, Gunny, I've got great, great news for you. He said, what?
He said, I'm going to buy my first car. I said, congratulations, Marine. That's a big step for a young Marine.
He said, what's your interest rate? I said, 21 percent. And he nearly smacked me upside the head.
And he said, stop being an idiot. And he didn't say that. He used more colorful language.
But I see we have a couple of young people out there. He said, go to Navy Federal Credit Union.
And I got an 8 percent interest rate and bought my car without breaking the bank.
So that was one of many, many lessons the state of North Carolina taught me.
But what we're trying to do, I talk about the difference between a 21 percent interest rate that the used car dealer offered me
and the 8 percent interest rate that I got offered at a credit union.
And that's pretty much the difference between the Joe Biden and Donald Trump economic plan for the United States of America.
Because in just a very brief time, we've seen new home purchases rise to their highest level in five years.
Since the last time Donald Trump was president, we've seen the cost of rents drop for six months in a row.
We've seen the average tax refund that's going to come to the people of North Carolina about $3,700 per family.
And we see interest rates that are the lowest they've been since the last time that Donald J. Trump was president.
My friends, the president is impatient. He's the most impatient person I have ever met.
In fact, he constantly is pressing on the gas. He wants us to do more.
But I stand here proud to say that after the first year of President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans' leadership,
we are rebuilding the American dream and we're taking back this country for the people of this state.
Now, there are a number of things that I'm proud of, a number of things I want to brag on,
but I actually want to take a little bit of an audience poll because I was looking at some of the things
that we put in the Working Families Tax Cut, this one big, great, big, beautiful bill.
Now, that bill is over 1,100 pages long, and unlike most of these bills that are way too long,
this is chock full of good stuff for the people of this district, the people of this state.
But there are a few things in particular that I think are important for this state.
Number one, number one, that piece of legislation, the Working Families Tax Cuts,
had the biggest tax cut for Social Security benefits that we've ever seen in the United States of America.
Number two, it wasn't just Social Security recipients.
Number two, that legislation had the biggest tax cut for people making under $100,000
that we have ever seen in tax legislation in this country.
And number three, that wasn't in the Working Families Tax Cut,
but one of the things I'm very proud of is that we forced all localities,
whether they're red states or blue states, to report crime accurately
so we could go to war against violent crime and the criminals who do that violent crime.
Now, those are three things, and on this part, I only want you to clap once,
because again, I'm going to take an audience poll here.
I'm going to ask you what your favorite of those three pieces of legislation,
those three accomplishments are that we've had so far in the Trump administration.
So, if your favorite thing of those three is no taxes on Social Security,
let me hear it. Okay?
If your favorite thing is the biggest tax cuts for people making under $100,000,
let me hear that. Okay?
And if your favorite thing is that we've gone to war against violent criminals,
let me hear that.
Now, I said only applaud once, and there's a guy up here.
He applauded at least twice.
He cheated the system, but I guess he wanted to save his applause till the very end.
But we all heard the response.
You know who did not clap for a single one of those great accomplishments
of the Trump administration?
Don Davis, because he voted against every single one of them.
Don Davis voted against cutting taxes on Social Security.
All right. Welcome back to the program.
Just listening in for a couple of moments as Vice President J.D. Vance does a campaign rally
in North Carolina, hoping to hear a little bit about the war effort.
That may come at some point, but it hasn't yet.
So we'll move on from that.
If any news does develop from Vance's address in North Carolina,
we'll certainly be there to tell you about it.
All right.
So during the afternoon, we've told you about Governor Maura Healey
and Attorney General Andrea Campbell launching a new online portal
that will allow residents to report misconduct by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents,
ICE agents, conducting operations in the state.
Please use this form to report potentially unlawful activity or misconduct by ICE
and other federal agents enforcing immigration laws in Massachusetts
to the offices of Governor Maura Healey and Attorney General Andrea Campbell.
You can submit the form for yourself or someone else.
Statement on the state's website reads above the form.
Your submission may help the governor's office and our attorney general
identify patterns of potential misconduct by federal agents,
inform possible legal action or policy recommendations,
and support affected residents, it says.
You just heard the crowd go nuts in North Carolina when J.D. Vance asked
if their favorite initiative of the three that he listed there by the Trump administration,
which one do you prefer?
And people went nuts when he talked about taking on violent criminals.
Maura Healey's priorities and Andrea Campbell's priorities is to take on law enforcement
that's going after the violent criminals.
Does that make sense to you?
Does that sound like an administration that deserves another term in office?
Think about that for a minute.
And, you know, this comes the same day that Diana DiZaglio, the auditor of Massachusetts,
released information on another trove of documents highlighting public benefits fraud in Massachusetts
for the last six months of last year.
Another $4.4 million.
It's on top of the $12 million that she talked about for the prior period.
You know, the $7 million that we know about from the two Haitian brothers
that were running the bogus stores in the Boston area.
The $100 million that we've heard about through Leah Foley, the U.S. attorney.
Another $4.4 million.
And all of this happening on Governor Healey's watch, while Andrea Campbell, by the way,
is the top cop.
All of this going down under the Maura and Andrea shell.
Is this the kind of leadership that deserves another term?
Tim Dunn from the Boston Herald was in the studio in the last hour.
I don't know if you heard him, but Tim said that the best estimate
that he can come up with now at this point,
since it's very difficult to track all of this,
is that we're talking about potentially a minimum of $100 million
in waste, fraud and abuse in public benefits fraud in Massachusetts.
Because the administration makes it very difficult.
The administration has a rule in Massachusetts.
Maura Healey and Andrea Joy Campbell, Speaker Mariano, President Spilka,
they have a rule here that they do not have to comply with the public records laws.
The governor of Massachusetts and the legislature, according to them,
do not have to comply with the public records law.
In other words, things that are public record in 48 states in this country
are not public record in Massachusetts.
They don't have to open the books.
There's only one other state with the same practice, and that state is Minnesota.
Jim Walz is Minnesota, and we know what's going on there, right?
The only two states that shield public records from the public, Minnesota and Massachusetts,
a minimum of $100 million, according to Tim Dunn,
best that he can calculate in public benefit fraud in Massachusetts,
and the Healey administration seems to either not be aware that it's going on,
constantly hearing of more of it, does nothing,
rather than announcing a portal today in a website that you can go to report public benefits fraud,
Maura Healey and Andrea Campbell announced a portal on the website where you can go to report ICE.
The people who are rounding up the criminal, violent, illegal immigrants on our streets,
that Maura Healey and Andrea Campbell, by the way, put on the streets,
you know, this clown that worked for Maura Healey that she allegedly vetted,
you know, this guy, Lamar Cook, who was running her Springfield office,
who's charged with running a major cocaine and potentially fentanyl operation through her office in Springfield,
also with unlicensed guns and ammunition and stuff like that, all kinds of stuff that's supposed to scale.
And, you know, the guy who in 2001 was charged with jumping out of a car and shooting at people on a porch in Springfield,
the people that Maura Healey hangs around with, right?
These are the people that she puts in positions of authority and responsibility.
And you got the D'Souza character, too, that Maura Healey invited to the State House for pictures, for crumpets and tea.
Seth Moulton brought him to the U.S. Capitol for the State of the Union address.
There's a guy now that, according to the police in Milford, connections to a case in June of 21 involving some kind of sexual misconduct and juveniles.
Another case involving juveniles from September of the same year.
And they won't tell us. Maura Healey is probably the least transparent public official I have ever seen in my 50 years in the media.
Everything's covered up. Public waste, fraud and abuse.
Tim was talking. It was I guess he's got a piece coming out Sunday.
He's got another whistleblower that's going to blow open Medicaid and Medicare fraud in Massachusetts.
How does all of this happen if the governor is paying attention to what's going on?
But instead of saying, oh, hey, look, you know, gee, well, you know, all of this fraud, waste, abuse, everything that's going on.
Here's a Web site. Go to this Web site and report cases of fraud to us and we'll follow up on it.
They announced today in response to more fraud, millions more fraud in SNAP and Medicaid, Medicare and all that.
That's really robbing the citizens of the state that that need the help.
Now, Maura Healey announces a portal to go and report ice.
If you see ice, report him. So what I'm suggesting is maybe ought to visit the portal and let's let's shut this thing down.
Let's let's let's blow it open. Blow it apart. Go to this thing.
Everybody go to this, this, this portal. And instead of reporting ice, which we're all pretty happy is here.
Right. Let's report cases of waste, fraud and abuse that we suspect are happening and force the governor to talk about that.
And we can do this. We can shut this thing right down. The address to go to online to visit this portal.
Let's hijack it. It's mass dot gov.
M.A.S. dot gov forward slash fed misconduct.
Mass dot gov forward slash fed misconduct. So instead of going online and reporting ice,
you know, the people that are rounding up these violent criminals in our society and getting them in the hell out of here.
Let's go and report what we know about fraud. You might suspect that fraud is occurring at this place or that place or that this person,
you know, is getting benefits that maybe shouldn't be getting them.
Let's go to this site and instead of reporting ice, let's report fraud or let's talk about fraud.
We can shut this thing down. We can overwhelm it. It's mass dot gov forward slash fed misconduct.
Do it today. Do it often. Five away. Nine, nine, six. So 500 is the number you're up next in WBSM.
Good afternoon. Afternoon, Barry. Hey, how you doing?
Peachy, how about you? I'm all right. Hey, Barry, I went to jury duty the other day.
I was going to do my best to not get put on there. Yeah.
I didn't get a chance to even try because I pulled my number. They dismissed me before they got to my number.
OK, I had I had a 20 foot shirt on. It said a quick swift, a good swift kick in the you know what will cure your gender confusion.
And then I had a trumpet on and they kicked me out.
They didn't get that. They were pretty. The people over there were pretty cool.
I mean, the court officers and stuff, actually. But they did have this video that you're supposed to all the respective jurors watch on the jury.
And I swear it was nothing but a diversity, equity and inclusion promo.
All the characters are on there. They checked all the boxes. Follow me.
Yeah, absolutely. All the characters in the video checked all the boxes.
Some of the content of the what they were saying was not far away from that either.
But Barry, there used to be a talk show host nighttime on WBSM.
It was called Michael Savage. Yes. He had something that he always said.
And I couldn't really figure out what he what he what he meant by it.
But I think now I'm starting to get it because people in Massachusetts, they vote for these Democrats.
Why? Well, the Democrats will give them a few hundred dollar electric bill.
You got three hundred dollars of green energy taxes on top of that, too.
They call it service delivery, delivery charges, something like that.
So they double they doubled. They doubled the cost of power.
They have what? Twenty four cents a gallon tax on gasoline.
I can't think of anything that the Democrats do for people that really would sway them to vote for the Democrats.
Yeah. You know, it defies logic. Well, you know, here again, you've got a case where there's all kinds of fraud going on.
So instead of addressing the fraud, you say go after Trump's ice because that's his Nazi squad.
And they get everybody excited about that. They don't talk about the issues.
They don't have to talk about them because nobody in the media, with the exception of this guy and Harry Carr and and Tim Dunn, raise these issues.
Nobody talks about him. You know, you go and look at some of the publications out there in Massachusetts.
Look at Mass Live, for example. And you look at the Boston dot com.
You look at the Boston Globe. You look at all. And they are all they don't even try to hide their slant.
I see. You know, and so so people just people don't pay attention.
They they honestly don't really care. And so they vote for these people out of ignorance.
It's as simple as that. I think you're right.
Michael Savage used to say liberalism is a mental disorder.
I think the people that are aware of all the short, short shrift that the Democrats give in this state, including the governor, and they still vote for him anyways.
I think that fits Michael Savage's definition of liberals.
Well, you know, Rush Limbaugh used to call him low information voters.
And it's true. And, you know, they they just love these. You're looking more.
He's so cute with a little pixie hairdo and a little size seven and a half sneakers.
And, oh, I got to vote for her. She loves to be. And she's right.
Everything that's wrong in this world is Donald Trump's fault. She hasn't done anything wrong.
Right. I mean, look at that. This state is about to explode due to corruption, mismanagement.
You name the problem and it's it's happening here.
And how do you not look at that and say that the person who's in charge, the person with the keys, the executive washroom is responsible for that?
Obviously. Oh, no. It's Trump's fault. Yeah.
OK. Thank you, my friend. Five. Oh, wait. Nine. Six. Oh, five hundred is a number.
You are next in WBSM. Thanks for hanging on. You're buried on.
Hey, real quick. You only get you only get one call a day. So real, real quick.
Go ahead. Oh, OK. What if I talk to a guy that was different?
OK, quickly, Mara Healy is actually enabling the fraud to continue because she is pretending to protect the illegals by notifying when ISIS is coming in the area.
By doing that, it's like saying, Jesus, the cops are here.
Yeah. You know what? And I don't even think she gives a damn. I don't think she gives a crap about that.
It is that's what she's doing. You're 100 percent right.
But she doesn't care what what she's doing. This for is because she knows her base hates ice in her base.
H Trump. So it makes her look like as though she's taken on Trump.
Her and Andrea Joy get to go out there. Oh, we're taking on this mean old bastard.
Trump in Washington. They don't care about these people.
You remember when all of this started when Mara Healy was like the Pied Piper, bringing all these people up through Mexico and into Massachusetts and everything else.
She and Kim Driscoll went into in the media and said, oh, open up your house to these people.
Remember how here's how I to touch these people are right.
Kim Driscoll says, open up a suite of rooms in your house and take in a family.
I don't know about you. I don't know anybody with a quote unquote suite of rooms in their house.
Maybe Kim Driscoll has a suite of rooms. Maybe Mara Healy has a suite of rooms.
I don't have a suite of rooms. I've got a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a couple of bathroom, a couple of bedrooms.
And a couple of bathrooms. I don't have a suite of rooms.
I don't I don't even know what a suite of rooms is other than maybe a hotel or something.
But, you know, this is how I'd have touched these people.
I know, by the way, Kim Driscoll didn't take anybody and nor did Mara Healy.
So they don't care. This is a campaign. Very cynical move.
I say we crash the site, crash it to pieces, let it crash and burn.
Simply go to it. Mass dot gov forward slash fed misconduct and burn that sucker to the ground.
We're coming right back after this.
Back to Barry Richard on WBSM.
Call 508-996-0500.
234 on a Friday afternoon, 508-996-0500.
It's kind of cloudy out there.
Going to be some showers around midnight tonight.
And we'll have the latest WPRI TV 12 forecast coming up at the top of the hour.
Hey, listen, just because this weekend doesn't mean the great local programming stops on Saturday.
You've got a full lineup right here on WBSM's Santos on Sports.
My old pal Paul Santos and Ken Pittman, of course, from nine o'clock till noon.
Jose Matos, as you just heard, is also here at noon.
And Brian's Beat, Brian Thomas from one o'clock right here on WBSM.
On Sunday morning, of course, it's Jim Phillips, Town Square Media.
The program is called Town Square Sunday right here on Town Square Media.
And it's 6, 8 and 11.
So if you're not an early riser, maybe you're at church at 8 or whatever, you can catch it at 11.
And always learn some good stuff with Jim.
Jim's a smart dude. He really is.
All right. Welcome back to the program.
And waste, fraud and abuse.
I say those words over and over in my mind all the time because it's so unbelievable
that any politician would not want to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse.
I mean, think about this.
Think about the press conference Maura Healey could have if she came out and said,
Look, I've appointed this panel to go in and immediately identify all the waste, fraud and abuse.
You know, I've contacted U.S. Attorney Leah Foley.
And the Trump administration want to work with your people and we're going to identify.
I mean, think about this.
The governor could say, hey, look, we're going to we're going to recover all kinds of money,
millions of dollars, tens of millions of dollars, if not hundreds of millions of dollars
that we can spend on people that need people.
You need program people who need people.
Yeah. Barbra Streisand. No, no.
Don't confuse Barbra Streisand with Maura Healey, although the political philosophies are the same.
But on on people programs that, you know, they debate having to close.
Remember, we were talking about Maura Healey's budget.
And she was wanting to close the hospitals for kids with, you know, mental issues and so on and so forth.
Well, we don't have enough money.
Well, you know, because we're giving one hundred million dollars away in fraudulent benefits to people.
You know, maybe if we stop doing that, we could find some money to keep hospitals open.
Maybe we wouldn't have to tax prescription drugs.
Another Maura Healey proposal for senior citizens.
Maybe you wouldn't have to tax candy for for kids.
Maybe we could actually lower the income tax in Massachusetts from five percent to four percent.
Something that probably will appear on the ballot this year.
Maura Healey is opposed to that.
Maybe we wouldn't need the so-called millionaire's tax fair share amendment
that's driving business and workers out of the state.
Maybe we would need all that stuff if we weren't paying benefits to people who don't deserve them.
But here's the problem, though.
We don't have somebody who is in that corner office that seems to even be capable of understanding.
She seems to be lost in some kind of a storm here where all of this is going on around her.
We hear every month about more and more and more waste, fraud and abuse.
And yet we don't hear anything from the governor.
You ask her people about it.
What are you going to do about it?
Oh, you're just a fake reporter.
In the case of me, that's what they told Tim.
If you ask me, I mean, you know, I've sent numerous emails to the governor's press secretary, Carissa Hansen.
She doesn't even doesn't even respond to them anymore, doesn't even respond to them anymore.
And you ask the governor, you know, well, why?
I mean, how come we have this sea where it seemed to be drowning in this sea of of waste, fraud and abuse?
And you don't seem to be addressing it. Well, it's Trump's fault.
Well, according to Joe Biden, the Democrat president, according to Joe Biden, it's Maura Healey's fault.
He sent her a letter before he left office and said, hey, you know, all this waste, fraud and abuse going on in your administration strained it up.
Oh, so what is Maura Healey say? Oh, it's COVID's fault.
Have you had enough of this yet? I have. I really, really have.
Not only are we in a state of total disarray here in Massachusetts, but we don't have anybody that's even willing to take accountability for it.
And then you ask to see the books. And what do they tell you?
Well, we know that's that's not constitutional. You can't audit.
You can't audit the legislature. What do you think this is, a democracy?
You can't do that. We ask for the documents that are public, should be public record.
Right. People should be able to look at it. I mean, people should be able to look and see how the money is being spent. Right.
Well, we're told we don't have to honor public records requests here in Massachusetts.
We don't we don't do that here. The governor and the and the legislature, we know we don't have to comply with public records requests.
This is Massachusetts. Yeah. Massachusetts and Minnesota, two of the most corrupt states in the entire country,
refuse to allow acknowledgement of public records requests.
The other 48 states do. We don't. So faced with all of these questions about what are we going to do about all of this public benefits fraud?
Why can't we see what's going on? Why won't you open the books? Why won't you cooperate?
You would think this would be common sense, right? What are we told? Well, Trump is just trying to divert attention away from Epstein.
That's the stock answer. And, you know, believe it or not, there's a lot of people that buy into that.
Yeah, that's right. Trump's trying to buy. Did you try to divert attention away from Epstein?
That's why he wants to look at the fraud, waste and abuse in Massachusetts.
It's not really fraud, waste and abuse. It's just it's just Trump trying to divert attention away from Epstein.
And people gobble that stuff up like with a spoon. I just.
Oh, yeah. It's Trump's fault. It's Epstein. No, it's your corrupt governor and the corrupt administration in the state and the corrupt legislature.
Oh, there's no corruption. No, that's why four of the last five speakers were either indicted and left under a cloud of suspicion.
At least one went to prison, Sal DeMasi. I don't remember now off the top of my head.
But the one before this guy, he was an unindicted co-conspirator.
He was never actually charged with anything, but he was an unindicted co-conspirator.
This is a state that names buildings at UMass after corrupt state senators.
We honor these people here. Corruption is our middle name. Keep on voting for him, right?
Keep on voting for him. And, you know, when you're done with Maura Healey, you always get Kim Driscoll waiting in the wings.
Or maybe Andrea Joy Campbell. Quick break. We're coming right back.
This portion of programming on WBSM brought to you by South Coast Health. Advanced medicine. More care.
As a veteran of the United States military, I can finally get the opportunity to enjoy special events like a date with my wife or going out together with my family and friends.
Every empty seat at a concert, a game, motorsports, or a play is a missed opportunity to say thanks to a veteran and service member.
We can help. We can give our veterans a special event where they, too, can create their own cherished memories.

Back to Barry Richard on WBSM. Call 508-996-0500.
Before you call me a clown. Before you spread my good name over town.
Before you call me a creep. Before you persecute my soul in your sleep.
Before you say I'm a fool and tell me that I'm basically cruel.
You better stop and think about it. Stop. Think about it.
Someone else is saying the same damn things about you.
Everybody is a...
All righty. Welcome back to the program. Kudo and Mulligan. New Bedford zone.
Kudo and Mulligan from way back in the day. And everybody is a you know what, right?
Welcome back. Welcome back. Welcome back to the program.
And so we got a lot of stuff we've been talking about today.
And we are... What am I doing here? I've got some polling information.
I'm going to try to get out. I mentioned it earlier. I'm not sure I'm going to get it today.
So I'll hang on to it till Monday.
Latest polling on the on the war effort.
And maybe we'll even have some more polling.
But if you recall all of the early polling, like they polled 10 minutes after the war started.
And everybody, oh my God. Well, you know, now more reliable polling is coming out.
And it shows some fairly strong support for the war.
And we'll try to get some of that to you on Monday.
Because I don't think we're going to get to it today.
All right. 508-996-0500. You're up next on WBSN. Good afternoon.
Good afternoon, Barry. How are you?
Good. How are you doing?
Good, Barry. You know, as quickly, it's pretty self-evident what's going on with the governor.
And I think you know deep down inside what it is.
Just like the governor did, Tim, there, and all the other governors.
If you really were to follow the money, a lot of it's going right back to her campaign.
And to high-ranking officials in the Democratic Party.
So that's why you're never going to find out.
Because she's getting kickbacks.
That's the only explanation that you can say.
Because why wouldn't you want to investigate it?
Only reason why, because it's going to come back to you.
Well, I think, to be perfectly honest with you, my thought on it is I think it's total incompetence.
Well, I think they believe that if they welcome in a federal investigation to help them fix this,
that they would somehow be bowing to Trump and admitting that maybe they goofed up.
So I think there's a lot of that involved in it.
I don't think Maury Healy's a crook. I don't think Maury Healy's taking money.
Really? You really believe that? I don't.
I don't think Maury Healy's taking it.
It's not like Tim, right? It's just like everybody thought Tim was a total goof-diz.
The other guy, Tim Tampon, everybody calls him.
And the guy's basically taking kickbacks going right to his campaign.
With the whole Somalian thing.
But he hasn't been charged with anything yet.
So we've got to be careful, allegedly.
Allegedly.
Yeah, I don't think Maury Healy's in that vote.
And you know why I say that, Paul, is you look at what we're talking about here.
And every single aspect of Healy's administration is the same way.
It's like a hands-off, just in total disarray.
And she just doesn't seem to know how to pay attention to what's going on.
She claims people are betting and various things like that.
But nothing ever gets done in this total disarray.
I don't think she wants to admit that anything's going on during her administration.
She just keeps brushing it off.
But that said, there are a lot of people that are making a lot of money off of this.
Or it could be that she's very smart.
That she keeps her hands off her because she knows exactly what's going on.
So she plays dumb.
So it could be a lot of that too, Barry.
Yeah, I mean, that's possible too.
I mean, she's playing dumb, but I think she's incompetent.
I think she's playing dumb also.
We can't say in the same breath that she's very intelligent.
And at the same breath say that she's incompetent.
I think she's very competent.
I said she's smart. She's not stupid.
You don't pass the bar exam and you don't become attorney general.
And you don't become governor by being stupid.
Although, I don't know, Kamala Harris?
It's not going to matter anyway, Barry.
It's not going to matter anyway.
Because I'll tell you why.
For the first time in a long time, we got three supposedly good candidates right now.
That are all trying to get a Republican-like nomination.
But basically, it's like watching the Republican being a football team.
And they have three quarterbacks and they're all giving themselves safeties.
Instead of one choosing a leader and going after this woman.
Yeah, I agree with you 100%.
And it shouldn't have happened this way.
I know my buddy Chris and I disagree on this.
Chris likes the primary process and all that.
I don't.
Look, the other guys play by a totally separate group of rules.
And we can scream and yell about them.
But it works for them.
And if we're going to win races and win elections and get things done.
You got to play by the same rules.
And we're not.
And as a result of that, you're going to have a divided convention coming up in April.
You're going to have a primary in September.
It's not going to be until the second week in September.
Before we actually know who the nominee is going to be.
That's going to go after Healy.
And by that time, nobody's going to even know.
You're just not going to have enough time for people to really understand.
Thank you, Paul.
I got to hold you.
I got to get the break in.

Just a reminder, tomorrow Brian's beat from 1 to 3 right here on WBSN.
And Sunday morning, of course, it's Town Square Sunday with Jim Phillips.
Don't want to miss that.
Always good information.
And 6 a.m., repeated at 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Because some people sleep late on Sunday.
And just a reminder also that if you live along the route for the New Bedford Half Marathon,
which is run on Sunday, expect to see signs going up saying do not park here, move your car, whatever.
And you had better adhere to it because you're going to get towed if you don't.
So Boston, not Boston, the New Bedford Half Marathon taking place on Sunday.
