You know when it gets to this time of the year, when it gets close to watches and wonders,
I like to look back at things that have been released previously and pick out my favourites.
So in today's video what we're going to do is look back at some sports watches that
I think are absolutely perfect and I'm literally obsessed with.
And on that note, let's start with something affordable, this is the Casio Edifice.
Now there are tons of variations when it comes to this model as it seems to be the case throughout
the Casio catalogue they produce a hell of a lot of watches but the one I've picked in particular
is this. This is the EFK-100D-2A. It has a beautiful blue textured dial, a stainless
steel bracelet and obviously a case. You can see through the open case back and god damn
this does not look £269. It looks so much more expensive.
This comes in at 43.5mm in length, 39mm in width so that is a pretty awesome size for
most of us watch lovers in the industry and it comes in at 12.5mm in thickness.
It comes in full stainless steel, of course has 100m of water resistance and has a couple
of interesting features like approximately 40 hours of power. It's accurate daily to
minus 35 to plus 45 seconds per day which isn't amazing. It has a date display, a hacking
function, 24 jewels and beats at 21,600 VPH. This is essentially getting the 70s inspired
stuff from Casio. I love the textured dial, I love the angular bracelet, I love everything
about this watch and it's sporty and I'm obsessed. Hence why it's made the list.
Next up is a watch that I'm going to glaze over and I apologise for even mentioning it
because I know that I talk about it far too often. I was very excited to get one,
I apologise. But this is the Tudor Ranger 36mm in June White and it's essentially the Rolex
Explorer of Tudor's arsenal, I love it. It's so stripped back, it's so simplistic, it has
literally been on every adventure with me so far. For some reason I don't have it on today,
I've switched between the King, the Amiga Seamaster and the Tudor but it is undeniably
awesome. It is the king in my opinion of Tudor. I won't dive into too many details because I
already have in another video but it comes in at 36mm in diameter, you have a couple of different
colour variations, a black and a June White or sizing variations, you can scale it up if you
want and it comes in at £2,980. So interestingly enough guys, I actually asked you what your
favourite sports watches are at the moment on the Watch Family group chat on Instagram,
that's just on the Chisholm Hunter Watches page and there were some really interesting takes.
Firstly we have Chris Nerozzi and he says IWC Mark 20, banger. Speedmaster Moonwatch Sapphire,
banger. Explorer 2 Polar, banger as well. Then we have dials under slash crown and he says Grand
Seiko especially with cherry blossom season coming in in Washington DC. I love the fact that we've
made that video and I explained to people that I thought it was a sporty watch or it could be
and people seem to be kind of taking something from that, so thank you.
Timepiece under slash Hunter says VC Overseas, love that, that's coming soon. Max Blake 85 says
Shunbun now seeing it on a NATO definitely a sporty watch, love that, that again is from the
video. And we have Millie Watchco says my new Aqua Terra turquoise dial, that is an absolute
banger. And then after that he says would also love to own a ceramic AP Royal Oak but I'm not
there yet. You will be soon my friend. Up next we have a watch that a lot of people seem to have
forgotten about. I don't really, I really, I really don't understand it. I suppose listen
there is so much going on in the world, it's a crazy place to be in at the moment and things
do move really fast, but this was an absolute game changer for so many different reasons.
This is the Amiga Planet Ocean Gen 4. It had a total redesign, it was made thinner,
it was made smaller, the helium escape valve is gone, it's 70s inspired,
it still goes to the same water resistance even though it's thinner, it comes in multiple
different colors, multiple different strap variations. It is an absolute banger and I
categorically think it rocketed the Planet Ocean so high on Amiga's list. Before I kind of looked
at that and thought yeah, just a bit too much. Like don't get me wrong, I love the functionality
and I'm sure a lot of you guys do, but it was just a bit too much at that point. But now they've
really streamlined it. I mean, look at this watch. It comes in at 42 millimeters in diameter,
13.79 millimeters in thickness, which is absolutely insane for a 600 meter water
resistance. It comes in at 47.5 millimeters lug to lug, comes in full stainless steel
and has the Amiga caliber 8912 movement, fully self-winding with 60 hours of power.
Now on the stainless steel bracelet, this comes in at 7,700 pounds and for the technology that
you get in this watch, I'd say it's absolutely worth it. Now you can spend a little bit less
if you go with the rubber strap. Personally speaking, with upgrades to the bracelet that
they've made, I'd definitely go with the bracelet. I wouldn't have said that in the last iteration
of the Planet Ocean, I would have gone for the rubber. But in this iteration, I mean the bracelet
makes it dressy and you can also dress it down with a rubber. It gives an extra dimension to
the watch. I love this. This is insane. Talking about something that's hot off the press now
because it's literally been released today as I'm filming this video, which is kind of insane.
So normally when brands go down the exclusive route, they make it almost too exclusive. They
make it almost too niche, but this isn't. This is damn near perfect. This is the brand new Super
Ocean Automatic 44 millimeters from Breitling and this is the UK limited edition. Now you do have
two different strap variations. You have a rubber strap or you have a bracelet. It has a beautiful
dark green muted bezel. Then on the inside of that, you have an anthracite second track,
which is beautiful. The combination there just plays wonderfully. And then on the inside of that,
you have a darker black dial. So it kind of travels out as you go out the dial and it just
looks absolutely stunning. Now this is 44 millimeters. It's perhaps slightly too big for
if I'm honest, but the color combination they've used, I really hope they use this again in a
non-limited edition because this is limited. It comes in at 44 millimeters, comes in full
stainless steel. It is engraved on the case back with UK limited edition one of 500,
which is kind of frustrating because I think this is super, super sexy. It has this green ceramic
bezel. So that material is ceramic. And at the moment, the price that I'm looking at is in euros.
So I'm going to put the real price just up above me at the moment, but this watch genuinely,
I was really surprised at. I just feel like, I'm not sure if you guys agree with me here,
but sometimes exclusives can just go to exclusive and it niches off from the rest of the market.
But this isn't, this is, yeah, this is, this is cool. Taking a slight turn to something a
little bit more niche, a little bit more unknown. We have Chapek. Now this brand is something that
I've gone down a rabbit hole of talking about recently in a rabbit hole of researching recently.
And there's one watch in particular. If it wasn't for the price, I would a hundred percent get one
because they're so exclusive. The prices of these watches are just really, really high.
It's interesting. The videography that Chapek produce are, it's not great. The photos are
really cool. The videography is really not good in their website and it does not do the watches
justice. So on that note, I have a proposition for Chapek. Anyone that has contacts with Chapek,
just let me know and I'll send them an email. If you can raise £5,000 for a charity of our
choosing, I will do a videography campaign for you for free so that you can see these watches
in the beautiful environment in which they're meant to be in. Chapek, over to you. Let's make
this watch community a better place together. But this is the Antarctic in dark glacier blue.
And look at how beautiful this watch looks. It has got customization options. I mean,
you can customize the second hand on the website or choose your complimentary strap,
which you would kind of expect because it's about £22,000. So to get a complimentary strap doesn't
mean, you know, when it's 22 grand doesn't mean a huge amount, but it's nice that you get it.
These watches come in at 40.5 millimetres in diameter, come in full stainless steel,
coming at height of 10.6 millimetres, have a sapphire crystal glass box with anti-reflective
treatment and have a water resistance of 120 metres. They have Chapek's in-house self-winding
mechanical movement, the SX-H5. This is a fully automatic movement with 60 hours of power beating
at 28,800 VPH. And now we get on to Parmigiani, another brand that I feel that I could really,
really help in terms of videography because their marketing, it's not quite there yet,
but the product is incredible. Specifically, I spotted this. This is the Tonda PF sports
chronograph from Parmigiani. And this specific model comes in almost like a blue-grey
kind of colour. It's almost sky blue merging with that silver on the dial and the kind of,
the kind of angular feel of this watch. It just looks unbelievable. Now this watch comes in at
28,200 Swiss francs, so it ain't bloody cheap. And it comes in at 42 millimetres in diameter,
12.9 millimetres in thickness, has a water resistance of 100 metres and has the calibre
PF070, which is COSC certified with 65 hours of power. And that is fully in-house. This is the
Tonda PF sports chronograph movement. And actually on that note, if you look at the movement in
detail, it's kind of stunning. And if you look into Parmigiani as a brand and the brands that
they produce movements for, it's pretty interesting. I'll say no more. Right, let's take a,
let's take a step down in price because I think that that, the Parmigiani and the Chapek are,
they're really up there. And unless I remortgage everything that I own, I probably won't be able
to afford any of them ever. So let's take a step down to something a little bit more affordable
that is an absolute banger. And that just so happens Chisholm Hunter are authorised retailers
of. This is Longines. If you were looking for your next luxury watch, make sure you head to
Chisholm Hunter. It really helps us keep the lights on here. Just click the link in the description
below. And there is a discount code CHSUB for selected lines. That is CHSUB. Thank you guys so
much for supporting me and supporting the channel. I really appreciate it. And let's get on with the
video. This is the Longines Conquest chronograph, and it comes in a tonne of different variations.
Honestly, I was struggling to know what to pick because you've got Longines Conquest,
banger. Longines Hydroconquest, banger. Longines Hydroconquest GMT,
banger. You've got a couple of classic models that aren't as sporty, so I had to leave them,
but they are bangers. Longines Legend Diver, banger. I mean, everything that Longines is
touching at the moment is just turning to gold, but this is what I've gone for.
These models come in at 42 millimetres in diameter, 14.3 millimetres in thickness,
have a lug-to-lug of 50.2 millimetres and have the calibre L898 movement, which is fully automatic
with 59 hours of power. These models come in at £3,650. And honestly, I can't say it anymore. I
don't want to bore you guys, but Longines have been on a serious roll recently. I really, I really
enjoy what they're doing recently. It's a brand that's going from strength to strength, and I'm
really excited for this year. I think they're going to nail it. Right, stepping up in price
again, I do apologise, but this watch I'm obsessed with at the moment. And originally,
I was going to go for the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar or maybe the Tourbillon
that I filmed quite recently, the burgundy and also the deep red. But then I thought,
no, if I was to actually get a Vacheron, realistically, what would I get? And I thought
it would be an Overseas, and it wouldn't be something mental complicated, because that
isn't needed with Vacheron, I feel, because they're so bloody good. In my opinion, they sit
at the top of the Holy Trinity. So I would probably go for a three-hand Vacheron Constantin Overseas,
either blue or black dial, probably the blue. These come in at 41 millimetres in diameter,
10.69 millimetres in thickness, and have a water resistant of 150 metres. They have
interchangeable straps. The whole Overseas name is built around travel, and a lot of what I do
is travel. I mean, as this video is probably being released, I'm going to be doing something
that I'm really excited about. I don't want to spoil it, but I'll be ambitious. Anyway, I move
on. I can't say too much. It's a project. It's a watch project. It's going to be cool. When you
flip this watch round the case back though, you see something even more beautiful. This is the
calibre 5100, fully self-winding, so it's fully automatic, and it just screams luxury. That 22
carat gold rotor, oh my god. It has 60 hours of power, 28,800 VPH, that's the frequency in which
it beats, and it has 172 parts with 37 jewels. Overall guys, and I'd love to hear your thoughts
on this in the comments, I think that Vacheron sit at the top of the tree. I'm going to get killed
for that, but I really do. I genuinely do. I think when you look at production numbers, and you look
at the global network of watch brands, Vacheron are extraordinarily low, and have such a high
threshold for quality. I honestly, I mean, I love all watch brands, but I really do. I think
Vacheron, for me at least, they're at the top. So a watch I became really obsessed with recently
has to be the Cartier Santos, and it's the titanium version, the new titanium version.
It was a new thing from Cartier, hadn't seen it before. It worked, it was awesome. The white dial,
when you kind of mix it with that dark aesthetic of the titanium, and then the dressiness and the
thinness of the, oh my god, this was, I mean, wow. This watch comes in at 47.5 millimeters in length,
and 39.8 millimeters in width. It comes in full titanium, and that's why you get that more dark
aesthetic. It comes with 100 meters of water resistance, and it also has an entirely
self-winding mechanical movement with 40 hours of power. It comes in at 9,550 pounds.
And finally, we're going to take a step back to reality. So, you know, a step back in price,
something that I could actually maybe afford. This is probably the best affordable dive watch
that you can ever buy, and I don't say that lightly. I've made a full video on it in the
Maldives. I took it to the Maldives because I felt really strongly about it. This is the
Sertina DS Action Diver, 40.5 millimeters. It has the Powermatic AT movement, comes in full
stainless steel, has a DS concept that has been upgraded from the last one, so that's a double
security concept. I've explained that in the other video. It comes in at 40.5 millimeters,
14.1 millimeters in height, which is beautiful for the water resistance being 300 meters.
And overall, the color combination is just absolutely killer. And all of this comes in
for 790 pounds. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you did enjoy, hit that subscribe
