Novak Djokovic & Stefanos Tsitsipas Funny Interview - Indian Wells 2026

But tell us about how this doubles partnership was formed. Neighbours, who slid into whose DMs? Tell us. I think we passed our face on the Instagram DMs. We have each other's numbers. We do it the old way, traditional way. He reached out and asked if I would like to play doubles with him in Indian Wells. At the time, which was right after Australia, I didn't know if I was going to come or not. So I told him, listen, if I'm playing, my pleasure. It would be great. He told me, I'd like to play with you at least once before you retire. So I don't know why he's thinking this way. I have plenty of time ahead of me. Forgive me. Maybe it's the looks. But it was so much fun. Honestly, I'm really glad that we signed up. I mean, this speaks about our ignorance of the doubles rules and signing and everything. We didn't know when we have to sign in. Actually, we were quite late. So there was a confusion. I asked him, I told him, listen, I'm coming to Indian Wells. It was a few days before I arrived and I said, you know, are you going to sign us in? And he's like, I'll take care of it. Don't worry. So I'm coming here and it's not being taken care of. And next thing I know, Indian Wells gives us a white card, which is, we are very thankful for that. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. So thanks Indian Wells for doing this. I would love to know who wears the pants in this doubles relationship? Who calls the shots? Pardon the pun. Well, doubles is a team sport. So we both call the shots. As much respect as I have for Novak, we both call the shots. I'm thinking we should come up with a doubles team name. What do you guys think? I'll let you guys decide. Please DM or send us your ideas. 14 times. I would love to know, is it more fun with Novak the same side of the net or the opposite side of the net? 100% on the same side. Trust me, there is nothing fun about playing Novak. Well, I hope it's more than two hours of hustle. I hope you can reach that point of playing two hours against Novak. He's one of the greatest players in the world and he's proved it with his tenures over the last couple of years. I have massive respect for Novak.
