A Concrete House Hidden in the Mexican Mountains | Narigua House
Narigua House, designed by David Pedroza Castañeda in the mountains of northern Mexico, is a residence shaped by its dramatic natural surroundings. Built within a dense landscape of cedar trees and steep terrain, the house rises above the forest canopy to capture expansive views of the surrounding mountains. Instead of altering the site, the architecture adapts to it, dividing the program into several volumes that carefully navigate the existing trees. With its exposed concrete structure, large glass openings, and generous terraces facing the landscape, the house creates a balance between contemporary design and the rugged beauty of the natural environment.
