【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Concerto No.6 in B flat major - I. Allegro operto. This beautiful piece was preserved by European Archive. It has common licence (Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal), and is provided through musopen.org.

Mozart wrote the concerto for solo keyboard (originally harpsichord, but now often played on piano) and a small orchestra comprising two oboes, two horns and strings. In the slow movement, Mozart replaces the oboes with two flutes, which gives that gentle movement a softer, sweeter timbre. Apart from this substitution, there are no clarinets, trumpets or timpani – the orchestra remains light and chamber-like, which is fitting for the piece's intimate scale. The texture is light and transparent overall, which is characteristic of Mozart’s early concerto style.

The video was captured above Lake Thun, Switzerland by Christian Schlegel and was edited by Wenjing Ma.
