Hey guys, Spencer Coffman here. Today I'm going to show you how to remove your personal information
from a public record database called ClusterMaps.com. This is truly a public records encyclopedia.
They have all kinds of information and data on practically everything. It's really, really
incredible. You're on here. Guaranteed. They have so much information that it would be very,
very rare for you not to be on this database unless you've already removed yourself or you're
hiring a service to do so. You can search for an address, find out all kinds of information
about that address, all kinds of information, residents, past residents, anything really
related to the address, building permits, additions, real estate info, all kinds of stuff.
Or you can search for people, enter someone's name, find them, boom. Look at all this. They've
got the coronavirus spreading on the maps. They have free tools of people, addresses.
They've got over 200 million people, 170 million addresses. So they're not as big as like the
billion numbers of some of these other databases that we've been showing you through this playlist
here on how to opt out your information. But they've got a lot of stuff. They've got widgets,
so you can check out all this. I mean, look at it. It just keeps going down and down.
Their map widget. They've got all their features. Here's some address data. This is kind of cool.
So they've got people listed here automatically, which is not really cool. They've got how you can
do it. Most common first names. I think this is neat. Then they've got most common last names,
so that's kind of cool. And then they've got most common first and last names,
so that's pretty cool too. But that's not the point of this. Recent permit updates. Look at
their tools. What we want to find out is how to remove your info. So they got it right down here.
We're going to open that up. Clustermaps.com slash bl slash opt out. This link will be in
the description below. So it says removal request right here. Type in your name, your email, your
URL, and your address. So they want all kinds of information, which you got to give them because
if they have your URL, they've already got your information. So let's go up here. Let's type in
a name. We'll try my name and see what happens. All right. They don't have me, which is great
because I hire a company to remove my personal information. If you want to hire a company for
yourself, you can do that right up here in a card. I've got a playlist explaining them. Also,
there's a link in the description below. It's a one-time annual fee, so it's every year,
annual subscription that you can pay, and they will remove your information from... Right now,
it's about 40 different databases, so I love it. Let's just pretend I'm this guy right here.
We'll copy this link and put it right here. URL. We're going to have to throw his address in there,
so it's right here. Address. I guess we need the... What is that? Iowa, South English, Iowa. We'll
click on it. I guess we can find out his information's here anyway, so South English.
Doesn't tell me where. Look at this. Historical residence. Where they live now. Yeah, it's Iowa.
And where they used to live. All kinds of stuff. Really, really crazy how much information that
they have that you didn't know. Now, an email. You got to put in an email. We'll put in my name
and an email. Now, here, this is where it gets dicey. I would never recommend you put in your
personal email address. Definitely use a different one. Something like optoutyournameatgmail
or at yahoo.com, or you can go to fake mail generator and copy this email address and use
it right there. Let's hit the next step. Please match the requested format. Oh, great. I guess
we need to go to a details, so let's do this guy here. We'll copy this link. Copy link address.
Start over. Here we go. All right, there. Now, next step. All right. Remove data for this guy.
You can also remove info for related persons, so you could choose all this. You could choose all
this and hit apply, and bam, the information should be gone. They might send an email to here
to confirm it, but I don't know. It looks like they might just pull it all off, so I'm not going
to complete this because this poor guy might want his information on there, so we will leave that
alone, but chances are your information is on here, so search for yourself. Search for your
address. Find out who's where, and then complete the optout process. If you have any questions or
you get stuck anywhere, please comment below. I'll help you out if I can. In addition, check out the
other videos on my channel. There'll be a playlist at the end that you can click on to opt out of
more information on more databases, or you can hire that service using the link in the description
below. I hope you like this video. In addition, please hit the subscribe button and the bell icon
below to be notified of future videos. Until next time.
