So I just want to say really grateful for the opportunity to be here and speak and I want to do a
Short commercial for Christina for putting this together these these conferences take a huge amount of work. They're very stressful and
You know
first big thanks for you guys showing up and
Try to encourage Christina in any way that you can participate in the future
Encourage other people to go because I really like these small settings and
This is such valuable content. So I hope everybody is appreciating and enjoying it and
For hopefully the conference in the future of future conferences you guys participate encourage other people to come
So I'm going to just start off a tad about myself. I grew up in Washington DC
normal family I
Had a father who had PTSD from World War two
he signed up in the Navy after Pearl Harbor at the age of 15, he was on a
US naval warship at the age of 16. He lied about his age and
He suffered from PTSD and nobody really treated it back then just sucked it up
I just thought I had a really jerky dad, but I understand now as a physician what happened to him
But you know, I'm here today, I'm a physician myself and
A veteran I just retired as a colonel from the US Army
so you can
So you can recover those from those kind of experiences
So I look at my my childhood as a bit of a hermetic exercise
So I'd like to explain, you know a little bit about that because it fits into how I am here today
I just became a natural
Troubleshooter problem solver because I had a dysfunctional father. I had to figure out things on my own. So I
went into law enforcement worked as a police officer in New Jersey and
not too far from from here actually down the Jersey Shore Wow would and
I worked as an undercover narcotics agent. Then I went to law school and became a
criminal prosecutor and then from law school I
Studied worked as a night watchman security guard at nighttime to
Study and be able to get myself in a medical school. I studied all night long and
Got the necessary grades again in medical school
I got a scholarship through the army that paid my way all the way through medical school and
After I finished medical school, I practiced or rather specialized in emergency medicine
So I couldn't be further from where I am today as a
Type of physician I am a health and performance optimizing position
But I worked for about two decades in emergency medicine rooms
full time and
today I'm a
physician who specializes in
Optimizing people's health back when I was an ER doctor. I could care less about your health
I took care of gunshots and trauma and that's that was really interesting and anything came up like
Electrolytes or minerals or you know chronic disease. I just roll my eyes
but today
That specially keeps me up at night. It's absolutely fascinating. So I
Became like it a lot of other physicians overweight diseased. I had I had
atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in my arteries I had Barrett's pre
Cancerous lesions in my esophagus severe heartburn. I had a large prostate that would wake me up about four to five times a night
So I wasn't getting any sleep and I had eczema all over my body. I had
Erectile dysfunction and I I talked about it because it's really it's not just an inconvenience
It means you've got
arterial disease and
If you if you're a male and you've got that you need to deal with it
And it's not going to be dealt with taking a medication that just allows you to have an erection
You really want to resolve?
fundamentally
On a cellular level what is going wrong in your body?
so that's why I think social media is so exciting because we can address those kind of concerns at a root level and
Not just treating, you know what I call a neural shot paint job
We just make you know, the outward appearance look a little better. So after a
year of doing some dietary changes
To really just help me lose weight
So there's no placebo effect because nobody told me to do these things all your medical problems are going away
But I and what I did was I started on a low-carb paleo diet cut out processed foods
I started sprinting and stayed outside in the sunshine sprinting the sunshine and I started eating fermented foods
Every medical problem I had went away
Changed my life forever and I was super upset
Pissed off at my medical profession because I felt like none of it helped me to get rid of disease
It's if you have a heart attack you have a stroke you get a fracture your femur
Yeah, go to the ER go to a physician
but if you want to learn how to live if you want to get healthy, then you want to
Understand lifestyle issues that are not taught in medical school. So hopefully this works. So
Here's my startup page
You can find me on Twitter
threads Facebook tick-tock all at at
Dr. Se a n o m a r a so it's a good way to contact me. We're gonna be talking about
Today, I can go back to that people and get it
Yeah, let me go back. So you get your phones up. So I'll be talking about good fat bad fat
most of you think fat is all the same, but it's it is so different it's like night and day difference and
The bad fat so much worse than you understand
It is deadly and inflammatory and you know hardly anything about it
the good fat is so much better than you understand and you want it and
The system doesn't want you to understand either of them
So we're gonna get into it explain it to you and hopefully get interested in and start
Following and finding out ideally what's going on inside of you
All right. So let's get started
We're going to use this as an example here, this is a axial view through the abdomen
of the physician who taught me about visceral fat and visceral fat is this white stuff in the middle and
The white stuff on the outside is subcutaneous fat. So I'd like to show his scan because this guy
Credit him was the physician MD PhD
He was a researcher for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in University, Washington
And he knows the people had the most amount of chronic disease with people had the most white stuff inside
so he said he's Chinese ago, what did that white stuff and
As it turns out he found out it was visceral fat. So we're gonna scan ahead to another
MRI image to be able to give a little bit better definition. So
Visceral fat is the stuff right in the middle. That's your bellybutton
He's laying this patient is laying on their back. These are the back back muscles recti spiny muscles
Muscles on this side. So all that white stuff in the middle deep in your abdomen. You cannot see is
Visceral fat the other name for it is invisible obesity
So it's obesity that you can't see that first image that showed you dr. Zhang the Chinese American
his waist
Was 31 inches. I have a 34
So he was filled with it. So if you think because you're thin that you don't have it
You're running the risk of this diagnosing yourself. So this stuff is invisible
You can't see it unless you do an MRI as it turns out we can see it a little bit in people's faces
So we're developing an app to teach a machine how to read it
Reason we're teaching the machine how to read visceral fat because there's not a radiologist in the world except for one
Who reads visceral fat because it's kept from medical school
Never heard a word about it medical school never heard about a residency
No residencies teach this and I'm just going to tell you at the risk you think it's crazy
They're keeping it from the doctors. So they keep it from you
so
We've got to get this curriculum to taught in medical schools
Doctors will learn about it and they'll want to teach it to you, but we've got to get in the curriculum
So this is invisible you can't see it
But we can also start to infer it in people's faces and I'm going to show you some scans of people's faces
Give you an idea about whether or that might be happening with you
Muscles are dark on an MRI scan fat is white. So you can see fat is
Starting to deposit in those muscles. So that's called my osteotosis or the
Common layman's term for this marble ization. That's where your muscles start turning into a ribeye steak
And so we'll try to show you some examples of that. So here's a guy still with visceral fat
He's fat on the out outside. He's fat on the inside
so he's both be fat outside fat inside and
When this is through a slice this way, but if you do it slice this way, you know in this direction here
It's called the sagittal plane. This is his abdomen his foots down there his heads up there
This is all his abdomen you can see all his organs are surrounded by this inflammatory fat that every second is secreting
Inflammatory molecules that go around destroying your body. They're just pumping out inflammatory molecules
Now if you were to ask yourself, what's one thing I want to get rid of inside my body
Most of you probably would say cholesterol
It's a big red herring
You want to get rid of this stuff and this will visualize what the problem is because it's surrounding all your organs
and that's why you end up with the irritable bowel syndrome inflammatory bowel disease and why if you live to to be about
In your 70s and 80s and life expectancy is about 77
But if you make it that far, you're gonna end up with incontinence leaking urine and leaking stool
Because you're just going to be falling apart from all that inflammatory fat around it
And this above the abdomen is your heart and a big chunk of fat surrounds that heart
Directly up against coronary arteries. So that's how it leads to heart attacks and
Vascular disease. So it's really important to see these these images now this guy here is young. He's 30 years old
He's got quite a bit of visceral fat surrounding his organs already
That's his bellybutton and he's got a six-pack and that's his body
Filled inside there. So if that guy has it what's going on inside your body?
That's why you've got to get an MRI scan and find this out and I'll give you some guidance about getting it in a little bit
You know, I don't know but it's probably around
nine percent ten percent
So here's a scan and this is to show you this is a really bad scan
This guy's in bad shape huge amount of visceral fat. This is the best MRI I've ever seen in my medical career
This guy's muscles are enormous. They're so pure
They're like filet mignon his visceral fat is that little bit right there that little bit right there
so we take a measurement between the
core and the abdominus rectus and the closer that is the healthy you are and
The further the core is from your abdominus rectus the more disease potential you have
So this guy's in really bad shape. This guy's an awesome shape. This guy's an Olympic sprinter and he performs incredibly well
They look at his legs
so we scan legs to abdomens and this guy's legs look like filet mignon and this guy looks like Wagyu beef and
So these scans are done. You've had MRIs probably some of you on your your arms and shoulders and legs totally ignored
Completely ignored because doctors aren't taught this and if you go have a conversation with they'll have this big kind of response
Just go ahead and try it. It's it's literally being kept from us
So this is what you've all seen this
carbohydrate
Filled cow with grains and corn and soy and molasses and now they're even feeding putting in cattle feed skittles
so to fatten up these cows given this mild steatosis
Marblization, this is a grass-fed cow. You want to eat a disease or sorry a species specific diet
So for cows cows eat grass cows are a lot healthy now
I knew in the carnivore community a lot of people will argue with me, but I'm telling you
I scan these legs and arms and muscles and these people the more they have the more disease they are and
You know that the Wagyu beef
Industry those cows can barely stand up. We're being lied to about those steaks
You do not want that marble I steak now you want to eat this fat right here
That's omega-3 rich
So this is good fat and this is bad fat right there
So you really want to know good fat bad fat and before you start worrying about cows worry about yourself
Get your your MRI scan yourself. All right. Here's a guy who is an NHL player
He went out started company. He's he's worth seven figures
Much better business guy than he was an NHL player and he came to me
Filled with visceral fat and three months later. Look what he did. So
Personality
Dictates whether you're going to be disciplined enough to change your life
If you stand off this the in the periphery say well
I'm just gonna wait to get to see this how this visceral fat plays out think you're going to miss out in the opportunity
Get yourself incredibly healthy. So the more motivated you are the more disciplined you are the better off
You'll be able to move yourself along
now this is to
Compare and contrast a couple different ones. This is a toffee. This person is thin outside
the sub-q fat but fat inside and this person is more fat outside and
And thin inside then don't have as much they're very narrow in a foe T
So fat outside thin inside so completely different now between the two of them
toffee's die
Toffee is the ones that the highest mortality rate that as it turns out that fat around the outside and we're gonna get into it
Actually need to show I'll show you right here has a
Difference. Okay. So this subcutaneous fat here. Do you see that black line going through there?
Never taught to me in medical school. That's called scarpus fascia. It's a membrane. It separates subcutaneous fat into two compartments
So they don't want you to know about visceral fat
They don't want you to know about deep subcutaneous fat and here's the good fat you want to know about
So get your pens out or what watch this again is called superficial subcutaneous fat
superficial subcutaneous fat is
Yeah, deep subcutaneous fat is from that black line
deep and
superficial from that black line
superficial and
The reason why superficial so good it releases a molecule that you've never heard about called adiponectin
ADI P O N E C T I N and that is protective against disease mortality heart attacks strokes
Alzheimer's neurodegenerative conditions
MS Parkinson's
Diabetes and even obesity so they don't want you to know about adiponectin
At all until they figure out a drug that mimics it and then they'll be selling all over
Get started now
Nope, brown fats different. Oh, that's a good one
But we won't get into because we can't image it very easily. So I don't really talk about it
But yeah, it's okay, but superficial subcutaneous fat is good
Now if you go and get women who go and get liposuction
They'll they'll they'll end up taking get rid of that superficial and then they get faces that change
You know, what keeps your face pretty that superficial subcutaneous fat
Women and then 1500 1600s were painted in statutes. They were chubby and that superficial fat on the outside
Gave them nice effeminate faces and when women get liposuction today, they would send me messages
My god, it was the biggest mistake ever did I got really sick?
I got I started get falling apart after I had that and my face got ugly
They said that less attractive so you get a dude face
So just Google women with six-pack abs and you'll see they have dude faces harsh-looking faces not attractive
so you want that superficial fat and
If you get rid of your visceral fat, it will help to keep it and I'll give you some recommendations
About how to do that. All right real quick. What you got to do get rid of this visceral fat
This is this series of six MRI scans over a period of 35 weeks
this person
Lost a
Substantial amount of their visceral fat and they also lost the fat and their muscles here. See that
Over this 35 weeks by just simply cutting out carbohydrates
So they don't want you to know this they do not want you to know this
Just cutting out carbohydrates particularly processed foods
Dramatically reduce your visceral fat. You need to see this this scan should be in every medical school
Should be in every physician office and
Every patient ought to be getting this tracking this instead of cholesterol. So that's your first recommendation is cut out carbohydrates
particularly processed
Carbohydrates so you can have elimination that visceral fat and doesn't really matter what's going on in all these other studies
You want to do a study of one you?
That's the most important study and that's why I focus in on my clients who come to me
I just do study after study on that patient and I don't really care about what's happening in the other 8 billion people
You know, I'm taking care of this one patient
We're just gonna get rid of this fat around their heart fat in their muscles and fat in their abdomen the deep subcutaneous fat
And there will be a new creation
Nothing improves a human being more than get rid of those four deadly fats. So
This is the same individual that cut out carbohydrates right lung left lung right middle lung is their heart
Now look at that big chunk of fat
Around the heart and 13 weeks later from cutting out those processed carbs and carbohydrates
Look how much dramatic reduction in that fat around the heart took place
All right. Here's another guy came to me. He had a big belly. His name is Alvaro all these images grace
Gratefully patient clients allowed me to share these and in three months this guy was motivated
Look how much he lost of that happened in limiting visceral fat
Using the strategies that we developed in the National Science Foundation studying it for seven years
So but as impressive is from the outside and his wife's really happy about his change in his body
Look at what happened on the inside. So this is his Donald scan filled with visceral fat. That's his heart scan
Big chunk of fat around his heart and then look over three months about every
1.5 months every seven weeks or so. He got another MRI scan and
Look how much dramatically he proved himself
So you if you focus in on this fat you change from the inside out
That's what you want to do when you lose weight and step on your bathroom scale. You don't know if you're losing water
You're losing muscle or you losing beneficial superficial subcutaneous fat
That's why you know bringing fidelity to what you're losing and what you're gaining through an MRI is the way to do this
All right. Here's my own
Scan of my heart. I got no fat around my heart and I'm very grateful about that. So
Just show you it is possible to have zero fat
Around that heart and get a scan. Well, let's look at some autopsies. These are harsh and real human beings
they had bad outcomes and
So this was a rel this probably a trauma patient
Relatively healthy because they don't have a lot of fat except that fat stirs form around those arteries
So you see that those arteries already have fat leading being
Laying down around them and in middle individual has those steps substantially more and this one's just completely strong
Now this is fairly common when I scan people
It's that common that it is just around your heart and your heart even has
Impairment of its ability to
Biomechanically, you know with that huge chunk of fat isn't remarkable. Nobody talks to you about this
This is how bad it was. I was on a
Podcast with a cardiothoracic surgeon
I said didn't you ever pay attention as you cut through all that fat that the ones that had the most fat had the worst
disease arteries
Complete silence and he paused he said I'm embarrassing it but never paid attention
He never paid attention because it was never taught to him. He's just going after those arteries
Fixing them, you know with graph bypass, but you want to get started where you are today until that's gone and
You follow that said your your cholesterol. Well, this is this
The best MRI scan I've seen in a female look at that
they've quite quite low visceral fat hardly any at all and
They're in great shape
But I could tell looking at this MRI scan that this person has not had visceral fat for a long time
Maybe ever but look at her picture. This is a lady. You can follow her on Instagram. Her name is Carolyn LaBouchere
I saw her on Instagram and I
Contacted her and asked her begged her to go get an MRI. This this poor lady had me chasing her town
She lives in Dubai. She's British educated as this nice British accent and weirdo. Dr
Sean's chasing her down to get this MRI and
Because I looked at her at her photographs
I'm like, I don't believe this woman's ever had visceral fat in her life because look at her legs
Look at her torso. Look at her nice arms that attract a face and that thick long hair this lady 60 years old
How does she have because what happened to her was in the 1960s?
She went Atkins when she was a little girl only on her parents unlike my parents
We tried Atkins her parents stayed on it when the government said Oh
Go back to eating carbohydrates. It's fat. You got to worry about
So she um, she's got a superficial she got a layer superficial subcutaneous fat
But her big her big claim to fame in my clinical assessment is this lady because she's avoided
Carbohydrates in the Atkins diet her entire life and the rest of us, you know chowed down on carbohydrates
I was a fiend, you know, she she's preserved her body and her appearance and her life
So that's how we're supposed to look when we're in her 60s
But you can get it back. I look a lot better than I used to so we'll get into those pictures
All right. Here's another scan we do with arteries now
We don't in the studies for the National Science Foundation six thousand Americans
We scan them scan their abdomens towards the end
We did 20 MRIs of their brain and the reason because over that period of time seven years
It was like what is it when you get rid of visceral fat that you become smarter more articulate your memories improved
You don't make any mistakes and we said we don't know I don't know
but finally at the end we start scanning these brains and we did we saw that the middle cerebral arteries had these blockages and
They're pretty common. You know, they
They can't do anything about put you on a statin now if it was in your heart they go and stent it
They can't stent these in the brain because if they open rupture that artery
They can't get they have to cut through your brain and then you're a vegetable
So they just leave these things clocked it's ridiculous, but in nine months we open up that that artery
eliminating
Eliminate carbohydrates doing spraining sunshine
fermented foods sauna and cold plunge
It would the biggies that we did and then this guy came to me from Australia
He had the same vessel only on the other side big blockage three months. We opened up this thing
So clients are reporting, you know improvement and in everything across the board
disease processes going away
And we see blood flow and and the other thing we start seeing is visible pulses
So, I don't know if you can you can see it when I'm up here at this light
But do you see the big pulse in my my elbow there maybe in the front rope you get visible pulses
Shouldn't feel for a pulse. You should look for it your pulses
You should have reassurance as a homo sapien that you got massive blood flow that are soft arteries not burdened with fat calcified
By having visible pulses and they're all over my body and a one weird one
That's weird to talk about
Erectile function, but you get in a balance to your erection
Like you had when you know guys had when they were teenagers that have these big bounces
And Mike my 50 60 70 year old clients are getting the big bounce back and they're super excited about it
They're great blood flow and not not so much for their sex life, which is great
But for better blood flow to their brain to their kidneys to the liver and you know, they're they have a much better lifestyle
So you want to get those arteries opened up? Here's a guy who had heart attacks two of them in one week
That was a bad week for him CPR cardio diversion defibrillation on both of them
But he pulled through and we got him started on the strategies and that those look he's new new person. That's three months
Three months change. That's how much you change when you get rid of this real fat
And and this is his abdomen. I did not get an MRI scan on it because he was in London
But you can see his abdomen got a lot more lean. So these strategies really work
To improve you and then I told you a little bit about faces
This is me in my 20s 40s and 48 and then I start eliminating visceral fat there and look what happens to my face now
This is what happens everybody you worsen, you know, you think you worsen as you age, but you shouldn't
You should be getting better because you get smarter and you figure out what you should be doing
You should be improving your appearance improving your performance improving your quality of life. So a good example that is Tom Brady
He is running faster at the age of 45 than he did as a
NFL rookie age 21
So as you start to take care of yourself, you actually start improving your appearance in your performance
So that's what happened to me and look at the dramatic change in my face
So visceral fat is inflammatory and destroys your faces now for the females in the audience
You you do pretty good until about menopause
menopause kicks in then you start accumulating visceral fat and then you're it's like the unattractive button gets pushed or
The ugly button gets pushing you start becoming less attractive and you can look at all your female relatives when they hit menopause
That's what happens, but not if you get rid of your visceral fat. You want to be this elegant older lady and
Elegant well not elegant but impressive attractive handsome older guy
Because the better the healthy you are the better influence you're going to be you need to be an influencer to your spouse
To your adult children to your grandchildren. You got to be in their life today old people the existence is wealth transfer
You should be imparting to your subsequent generations knowledge on how to live better and be healthier
So your kids and your grandkids and your great-grandkids will pay way more attention to you
If you have a nice healthy looking face because it's biology
We follow the healthy woman and the healthy man, but we do not follow diseased people. It's biological
It's evolutionary. It's adaptive. We follow healthy people because we think they can help us hunt better
It's always been that way as part of our makeup, so you want to be as healthy looking as you possibly can
These are just the two photographs, you know big changes that may show you I only weigh 165 now
I weigh closer to 180 so it's not weight
It's this deadly fat that you have inside of you that makes the difference and this is my body
seven years about eight years ago now I
Didn't have as much muscle and
I put on a lot more muscle as you get rid of visceral fat that you can start putting on muscle now
Probably a lot of people in the audience don't really care to put on a lot muscle
But you want to at least preserve your muscle because that's what's gonna allow you to pick up groceries
And pick up your grandchildren and your great-great-grandchildren and to pick up your butt out of a chair
Because you're gonna be losing muscle through chronic disease sarcopenia
And so the biggest change between these two photographs was the elimination of visceral fat suddenly allow me to put on muscle
So at the age of 60, you know 61 today. I have a
Substantially large amount of muscle muscle to fat in my body and I can I can do exceptional things as a result. So
That visceral fat being eliminated had a huge difference. All right, let's talk real quick about some biomarkers
Notice that this is there's 15 minutes difference between these two photographs
But look how much bigger I am and the reason is you see this in gyms and young people
They go lift weights and they're always flexing to take selfies and stuff like that and you see them in gyms
Why don't you see old people? You don't see old people because it doesn't matter
They don't get big they stop putting on muscle
But the young people get this pump post workout muscle pump and here see that big artery
Big vein rather how much more plump it is
Nitric oxide you got visceral fat. You're not going to have this nitric oxide being produced. That's another molecule
They don't want you to know about so four things increase
nitric oxide sprinting
sunshine
Sauna and fasting and then cutting out carbohydrates those five things will
Maximize your your your nitric oxide now
There's a test called skin turd or how fast you're in my skin turd is quite fast for a 61 year old guy
but if you do those four things or
all all five of them together like in like, you know in the middle of an extended fast doing the sauna sprinting and
And get sunshine my skin will go
Back so fast it make a snapping sound
So you want your skin to make a snapping sound 61 my skin will snap
They don't want you to know that but if you stack these strategies together you get synergistic benefits
sunshine
cutting out carbs sauna
sprinting and
Extended fasting will all increase your nitric oxide and I caught my my human dashboard
Looking for my skin turd and
These things these pulses get really massive when I do those four things because that nitric oxide I went on Paul Saladino
Used to be carnivore MD
He talked me in twice to take it honey and my beautiful
Visible pulses disappeared. So no more, honey
Not honey in any honey. So stay away from carbohydrates my recommendation. Some people can get away with it, but I do not
I do not recommend for probably the majority people who who have ever been overweight who are metabolically and well
I had a period of substantial period of being metabolic and well
But if you've always been fairly healthy and haven't had those kind of an issues
We all know this kind of people that can eat carbohydrates and just fine and it's going to be the microbiome
But the more we eat carbohydrates and listen
Guys and gals we ate a lot of damn carbs. We did we destroyed her pies
We've got heavy and we disrupt our microbiome our metabolism got affected. So
Most of us are not going to be in that situation to be eating carbohydrates
Young people if they eat clean may be able to keep it
But I'm talking to y'all here and I'm just going to tell you I think you'll be better off eliminate
Carbohydrates clean your thing clean your act up get rid of your visceral fat and maybe revisit
Carbohydrates down the road. All right. Here's how much my body changed in a profile my belly sticking out
And now my belly flat my posture that was curved is now now straight
and I don't know how nobody can explain how it shaped my head and neck and everything changed so much, but
remarkable and
Look at my basketure how much improved so that's just a three-year period of time
Alright this these are scans of a client that came to me laying down and when I pulled up his shirt
His belly was sunk down like that. Now. He's actually two years younger me and when I laid down my belly's nice and flat
So this one they don't want to tell you about the reason why that belly is sinking in like that sarcopenia
He doesn't have a whole lot of visceral fat, but the visceral fat that he had for years destroyed
Reduce his his muscle performance and his tonicity of his muscle
And so when he stands up just the opposite belly bulges out because all his guts stick out
Never happens that my abdomen when I lay down is my abdomen standing up
I'm like a 20 year old in a flat because I've recovered my sarcopenia and that used to be me though
I did have I remember having that when I was about 53 and I got rid of
My big belly, but my muscle side and I used to show patients you want to have an abdomen
I'd lay down you want to have an abdomen like that. You know what they do look and they go
Make this grimace and I'm like, oh god, they don't like my thing out of it. The reason is that sarcopenia
It's not good that your brain is like, I don't think I'd want to go cuddling with that guy
You know, but this you know, this is a more fit person
so
My definition of health is how you appear and how you perform your appearance and your performance and it starts with using these biometrics
All right. Let's look at this this individual here
There's another MRI just like that two people get an image in your head what this person is going to look like
Okay, because you're going to be surprised they got a lot of visceral fat
It's bulging out their abdomen and the other MRI scan of the person that got scanned with them looks exactly the same
I got permission to show this
kids
That's what the heck is going on with our kids today
This is them when they got scanned
Look at him now
You do not see kids getting better
Because we're not teaching about visceral fat
Their father brought these four kids
There's just two of the boys and they have two other brothers and their daughter and his parents and his wife's parents
This guy was was an innovator. He found me in the interest as this guy has got it
We're gonna get rid of our visceral fat
So he brought his whole thing this whole family's changing and this guy as a result now since sends tons of people to me
He's like you got to go see Sean O'Mara and I'm not taking no for an answer. I'm buying you an airplane tickets
I'm buying your hope your hotel and paying for your meals and he pays for all the MRI scans
This guy's a real believer because he's changed his whole life has changed
But look at these boys lips
They're now being perfused appropriately this kid's face is so much better and his younger brother
they go from average looking to looking like child actors now and that's about six months, so
Children, you know burdened with
Obesity and being overweight. This is this is what you need to do get these kids scanned
There's no radiation in MRI and you know, I show this to a pediatrician
She started crying because she she didn't know she was an endocrinologist
She's just never seen it and I haven't either until these these kids came to me. Look at this guy
He has MS in nine months. Look how much he improved his face and look at that big nose
So interested is biomarkers
Maybe he's big swollen noses off times see famous people drop dead of heart attacks and I look right before you know
Recent photograph they get a big nose and then look at him 10 15 20 years earlier and they didn't have that big nose
so
they don't tell you about that, but you want to be
Tracking your schnook schnauz if it's gotten pig. All right, look at this
Look how beautiful this is a radiologist right there
She's the only radiologist in the world that reads visceral fat and it's because I went to her about three years ago
And I told her about it and she was such a nice little sweet lady. She listened me
She's very Christian woman and
God wanted her to listen to me and but this is what she looked like when I came to her
Look what visceral fat had done to her
So this was her before and this is her right when I told her about visceral fat and now look what's happening to her
Because she's become a believer. She's my god. I've ignored this for
30 years never read it. Nobody told me about it. So you need to go to your doctor
Do not take no for an answer tell them they need got to figure out visceral fat and start reading and reporting how people get rid
Of it. All right. So here's a guy this guy came came to me from India
So he's a vegan and his big belly and then six months later. Look how much
By cutting back. He's eating tons of carbs. He still doesn't mean vegan
He's gonna be eating carbs, but what he did is he added in fermented vegetables and he cut out
Process process foods and like breads and stuff like that and
Tortillas and whatever rice and so he gets so even the vegans. I'm a carnivore. I just
Carnivore and fermented foods, but vegans can can reduce their visceral fat, too
I mean, it's not like you know, we got a stronghold and you know, it's only carnivore
You can improve you just got to get rid of this visceral fat though. You got to track it be aware of it
All right, here's here's that's his MRI scan by the way
All right, so I did have him when he first came and look how much him, you know with this face better
So even just reducing a visceral fat
You know will dramatically improve your your appearance and your health and your performance
So you got to get these MRI scans to do it. All right. Here's another biomarker called spider veins. So
These tell inject ages. They're just
Metabolic disease and
They show up and women have them on their legs and they can't stand up
They go run over vein clinics all over America getting them stripped and surgery and injected
Because you think they
Really? It's not so much that you know
It just basically says I suck at how I live and I'm unhealthy
There's really from a biological standpoint what's going on?
So we know as
Patients got rid of visceral fat those spider veins reverse
So get rid of your visceral fat and those spider veins will reverse
All right. This is kind of a gross one, but these are not blackheads. It's called sebaceous filaments
Going when you get on your own
Take a look at these little dots on your your nose and as you go keto or somebody goes keto
the more
Inflammation they have the more
Oxidation occurs and their sebum their oil and it gets this this these dark spots
and then as they get rid of that visceral fat those dark spots go away, so you need to be taking a look at your noses and
Watching for that. It's a very interesting
biomarker nobody really talks about but it is biomarker we see get improved and
Just back up a little bit if you were 16 years old and you were going you were having your first kiss and going on
a date
You know, if you were moving in you saw those black dots you would recoil, you know
Because biology would be telling you this is not that one
But if they if they had been like, I don't know farmer and they had dirt on their nose
You just drive on it wouldn't really bother you
But when you see your brain, I'm telling you you got software from your ancestors who lived well inside of you and tell you these things
Pay attention to it. It's really it's powerful
But we doctors don't pay attention to it or stool here another thing
You don't pay attention to your stool might take a look at it
But the shape of your stool all of you should be having this
The I have a suspicion because when I was almost vegan for a while
Eat nothing. I don't eat one serving of meat a week. I had stool that looked like a cow patty like a cow
never had any shape stool and
Now I've got a carnivore and eating permits you want a type 4 stool with a
taper in the end and the reason why you want that taper in the end is because
if this is your rectum and your anus is right here your anus really folds into your rectum and
When you stool goes in there stretch receptors, you feel the nudge to have a bowel movement
The anus unfolds like this and there's a little tiny hole
When it functions appropriately
so you want that tapered hole on your stool and then it opens up smooth perfect type 4 stool and
Then it closes in again when it's empty creates that little taper on the back end folds back in and when you wipe
You shouldn't have anything on your toilet paper
So now my clients are reporting increasingly and I'm glad to report to that
I hardly have to use toilet paper many times nothing on my toilet paper
Now if that sounds too weird to you if you had a kid and you toilet trained him
Mommy says to wipe and you wipe and there would be nothing on it because that kid was healthy
And when you wipe and you got stool on you're not healthy
Animals in the wild do not have residual stool on their anus
domesticating animals typically don't either unless they're
Really more diseased and humans should not have to use toilet paper
So they don't let you know that you're falling apart, but eventually that
Inflammatory fat skin into your pubic rectalis muscle your anus and causing you to lose rectal tone
And we patients come in in the ER we gag and rectal rectal exams
Teenagers it hurt my finger and 70 80 year old put my finger in there
I don't even know I'm in the rectal vault until I come out. I can't feel any tone at all
They've so fallen apart over a period of time and nobody tells them
So you want to be having type 4 stool and watch to see your stool change?
Watch it as you go carnivore cut out carbohydrates
I start adding fermented foods
And you'll have this beautiful change and your bowel movements will be about three
Three to five seconds like your kids when they had bowels and when you were younger
So you want to have you know very no pushing it should be like a reflex
I joke on the and it should feel fantastic little babies your mother's in there
If babies have bowels they get this big smile on their face and right because it feels so good
It's a great feeling so
Defecation should almost be orgasmic
It should be that good feeling and it should be so easy that it functionally happens and today people fall apart
Nobody's talking about no doctor talks about it
You know you you're you're gonna end up in diapers if you do not get rid of that visceral fat if you live long enough
Don't die from a heart attack. All right. Let's take a look at what's going on with this loss of functionality
We're right at the end
This is visceral fat around the rectum and that's that rectum starts getting exposed all those inflammatory
Substances and so deep it's all the way through your abdomen up in your chest all the way down symmetrically and
and
Big disruptions your microbiome so eating the wrong kind of food juice you you put the wrong
You develop the wrong kind of microbes inside of you
And I don't have enough time to talk about visceral fat inflammatory fat in the microbiome
But you better read about the microbiome because your doctor doesn't know about it, and that's your target
Your your radiological target is visceral fat and muscle fat fat around your heart
Your real target even before that
Starts falling apart is your microbiome so you want to optimize your microbiome?
I'll just briefly mention that that green liquid right there. That's green urine
Why?
because when you're a
Optimized human being and you eat a piece of grass-fed grass-finished beef your urine should be green
Now I'm gonna come out say it. I'll be the green pea doctor because that's what's happening to my patients my clients
They're starting to pee green and unless you you know unless you can pee green eating a super healthy piece of meat
You ain't nothing. That's your bioflex. You want to be able to do that so
Yellow and and I've done this 50 times that I talked about last night
My pee went yellow because I ate great green fed beef wasn't grass-fed and a lot of carnivore doctors say well
There's no substantial difference
There is there's a big difference in those nutrients and you're how healthy your microbiome is allows you to do that now my microbiome is
If I had it tested in the company said I think they called me up and said you had the healthiest microbiome
We've ever seen so I I can those microbes down there absorb
Molecules from that meat and push it through metabolize it and some awesome things are happening
So you really want to optimize your microbiome? All right? Let's look at function. I really fast. We're almost at the end here
Lot of visceral fat this guy here
See how this is him sprinting how little he could lift his foot and he would go really slow and look how high my foot goes
In my knee and the difference is that that visceral fat?
So the better your scan the lower your visceral fat the better you look and the better you perform
Hopefully you can see we're both about the same age, but my appearance is quite a bit better than his
All right, look at these two kids
these these two kids
Were raised in a family low-carb
First paleo then keto and then carnivore watch what happens to them about ten years later
Super healthy those are my sons so
These kids are you know raise them up?
And they've got to start on life and the one in the dark shorts. He told me
He got into he wrote his college entrance exam without my permission
Without my help assistance and I said would you write it on it because I wrote it on your medical practice
And I said would you write would you write about on my medical practice is I wrote about how when I was 14?
I saw all these
overweight disease older people coming in and how you told them what to do and they get really healthy and
How I made a decision then that I was never going to become sick
say
14 year old kid
But it's up to us to model that you want to model that kind of health to to get those kids our younger generation
To to want to make that kind of decision
That's it. So
appreciate the opportunity to present to you and
Sorry went over a little bit, but I couldn't resist trying to get this content now
