Ho Morgan Freeman Spends his Millions
Everybody knows the name of Morgan Freeman by now. An ever-present presence with a calm and
soothing voice, Freeman has been the voice of movies for decades now. Through all the fame,
he certainly has amassed quite a fortune. In this video, we're giving you a brief rundown
of how Morgan Freeman spends his millions. Before we continue, make sure to subscribe

Morgan Freeman has been an academy actor for nearly five decades now. With Oscar nominations
and voiceover work always following. Some of his seminal work includes The Shawshank Redemption,
Street Smart, Invictus, and Driving Mrs. Daisy, all of which earned him Oscar nominations.
Noted for his deep and soulful voice, Morgan has also had a second career almost as a narrator or
voiceover artist for many movies and documentaries throughout the years. Despite the number of his
acting roles slightly decreasing these days, he is still ranked as the seventh-highest-grossing
actor in Hollywood. As of the recording of this video, Morgan Freeman is 82 years old and still
going strong. He was born on June 1, 1937, in Memphis. He was the son of a teacher and a barber,
so he was always in touch with his working-class roots when growing up. Growing up was a tumultuous
phase of his life, with him shifting homes and moving in to live with his grandparents at a very
young age. Further relocations, as well as a bout with pneumonia at the age of 16, further made his
growing up to be difficult. Nevertheless, Morgan and his penchant for acting was always in the
forefront. As a mere nine-year-old, he started his acting career in school plays. At the age of 12,
he went on to win a statewide drama competition. He even performed in a radio play during those days.
His life took another turn here as he opted to enlist in the United States Air Force,
then go on to a scholarship-funded drama school. He served as an automatic tracking radar repairman,
even rising to the rank of airman first class during his time.
After four years of this detour, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his dream of acting.
He took dance lessons in San Francisco as well as acting lessons from the Pasadena Playhouse.
He was still working and doing part-time jobs right now to make ends meet. He got his first
breakthrough off-Broadway play in 1966, and went on to star in an all-African-American version of
''Hello, Dolly!'' in 1968. His first movie appearance was in ''Who Says I Can't Ride a
Rainbow?'' in 1971. He had by now become a familiar face in America with a handful of TV appearances,
the starring role in ''Cory Alanis'' as well as being a regular character in a popular kid's show.
The late 1980s and early 90s was when Morgan's star truly began to shine. He had an upwards
curve in his trajectory and kept rising from here on in. Oscar nominations for his role in ''Street
Smart'' was just the tip of the iceberg. Perhaps his greatest achievement to date was his role as
Red in ''The Shawshank Redemption'' which instantly catapulted him to A-list fame.
''Get busy living or get busy dying, that's goddamn right.'' Other major blockbusters such
as ''Deep Impact,'' ''Unforgiven,'' ''Seven'' and ''Robin Hood'' were also graced by his presence.
After years of getting nominated but not quite winning, 2005 was a big year for Morgan. He
finally won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Clint Eastwood's
''Million Dollar Baby.'' ''And the Oscar goes to Morgan Freeman in ''Million Dollar Baby.''
''This is the first Academy Award and fourth nomination for Morgan Freeman.''
Apart from great dramatic films, the blockbuster list kept on increasing for Morgan. He starred in
the ''Batman'' movies, reprising his role as Mr. Fox in all three, ''Batman Begins'' up till ''The
Dark Knight Rises.'' Overall, some of his highest grossing movies have earned upwards of 400
million dollars at the box office. Moving on to later life, he has shifted to mainly voice acting
roles, lending his voice to various projects and documentaries about the Earth and climate change
in the process. The documentary ''March of the Penguins'' is arguably a huge hit solely because
of the dulcet tones of Mr. Freeman. It was Morgan's deep, hypnotic and resonant voice which
attracted so many to that documentary, and this was where his voiceover work well and truly began.
Morgan Freeman's net worth could have been incredibly higher than what it is right now.
He lost a lot of his money paying settlement fees to his ex-wife and currently has a net worth of
more than 200 million dollars. He is best known for his acting skills but has many other tricks
and talents up his sleeve. For example, his beekeeping has been keeping him busy for some
time now. His 124-acre ranch in Mississippi has become a proper bee sanctuary. He never even wears
a bee suit or a hat and still has not been stung yet. Morgan has long been worried about bees and
their dying population. Converting his whole mansion to accommodate bees is certainly a worthy
and noble cause to sink all your money into. He has imported various beehives from all across
the world and has also planted bee-friendly magnolia trees and lavender just to attract
more bees. He neither disturbs the beehives nor does he extract the honey to sell or eat.
He purely spends a lot of money, time and effort to help the bee population.
As part of his mission to educate the world about the importance of honeybees for pollination,
he keeps on importing beehives. He feeds them sugar water and takes care of them as if they
were his own children. Again, we can't stop gushing over this very cute and very responsible
hobby that Morgan has adopted or powered to him. Morgan also has a penchant for luxury cars. He has
a sprawling collection which includes a BMW 745 which he bought for $10,000 only to restore it.
He also has a Denali worth nearly $50,000 which is an 8-cylinder SUV.
He also jumped on the electric vehicle craze and bought himself a Tesla Model X for nearly
$80,000 as well. There was also a Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis that was an official
pace car at the Indy 500. Freeman bought it for $20,000. On top of this, he also owns a Toyota
Tundra and a Chevrolet Silverado which he paid $47,000 and $35,000 for respectively. He also has
a red 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 worth a whopping $140,000. But the crowning glory would have to
be his Lamborghini Aventador which is worth about $400,000. Freeman also has a private pilot license
and absolutely loves to fly in the skies. He got his license at the young age of 65. He owns three
planes that he is now certified to fly on his own. These include a Cessna Citation 501 jet and a
Cessna 414 twin-engine prop as well as an MFS SJ30 longer range private jet. Much like his famous
movie The Bucket List, Morgan is not a man to shy away from things in his old age but actually is
actively trying out newer and crazier things as he ages. Morgan has also been the co-owner of a fine
dining restaurant called Madidi that has served customers for nearly 10 years. Madidi was closed
in 2012 however Morgan still owns a blues club called Ground Zero. The club serves famous fried
pickles and pulled pork barbecue. The club is a must-see place to visit if one is anywhere near
Clarksdale. So to sum it all up, not only has Morgan Freeman enjoyed being one of the most
popular and bankable stars in all of Hollywood but he's also prudent with his money. He has
never been too flashy with his earnings and has also taken up various noble causes with his time.
I mean how many millionaires can you think of who would convert whole mansions
just for the safety of honeybees. That's a wrap for how Morgan Freeman spends his millions.
