Stop Working! Discover the Hidden Beauty of Two Historic Seaside Towns and a Scenic Ferry Excursion

While attempting to remove an old skylight dome from the roof of our Beaver motorhome, a heat wave hits Vancouver Island in British Columbia and forces me to quit working. Instead, I return home to Sidney near Victoria - where it's a bit cooler - for a few days to chill. On the way home, I take a side trip to enjoy the beauty of two small historic oceanside towns, Ladysmith and Chemainus, as well as the splendour of crossing a small inlet on a British Columbia ferry.
