To 2. Oh, look at that at full swing.
It's just so hard to generate it.
Oh my gosh, one of the best
of the PGA Tour at the Greens.
So he's drawn a reasonably good lie.
Beautiful. The result you would have expected.
Wow, yep. No, I didn't expect it.
Come on Terry.
Jason Day in the green side bunker
after going for this par five in two.
Make that seven under.
Yes, Sir. Jason Day plan his third.
Desperately trying to stay in this thing and.
That'll do it.
There's that momentum staying on
the rise for the internationals.
Blind shot uphill to the back hole location.
Beautiful contact little spin.
Crashes into the pin right in the hole.
First time he's won a hole since the second hole.
At 15, here's day.
Oh, and there it is.
What could be the shot of the tournament?
So much speed, what a great shot.
But routine.
Another look different angle.
Look how much speed was at impact.
And that went to the list.
Yeah, all the hole outs through
the years at the 18th.
Azinger, Owen Brown, Jordan Speed.
Gotta leave in a little club toss.
A little flashback like to the year ago.
And a crowd savored every second of it.
Great crowds here.
Wonderful fans.
Jason Day about 40 feet to go.
20 feet of green to work with.
Looks as if he played it.
Wide open face and thank you very much
for birdies in the last five holes.
To three under par.
Jason Day, here's his third.
Very easy chip for Jason Michael in it does.
There you go.
That's what he does.
Jason Day to 20 under par and he's the new leader.
Not many better than Jason Day around
the greens with those easy little pitches.
He's so shallow, so precise.
This is copy book.
Benji, this is extremely difficult.
Has to land it on a downslope.
Oh my, not so difficult at all.
Cole, you gotta be kidding me.
What a shot from day.
He's now one back after that brilliant bunker shot.
Had to just barely get it out.
See how hard he swung at that.
Only went 15 feet in the air.
And that is a bonus.
Sometimes when you win, you look back at the shots
that you saved like that.
Uh-oh, Jason Day again, huh?
Yeah, his ball got to the collar here
and he went up with it.
Not many players have done that.
They all stay down with it and that ball went down.
What a chip shot for Jason Day.
That wasn't too far away from Ramey.
No kidding.
Wrong side here.
Excuse me, that's the right side.
16 birdies and an eagle so far this week
from all over the joint.
Jason Day over at the 13.
Yeah, this is where you don't want to miss long and left.
Well, unless you got Jason Day's short game.
Day in the bunker.
Not the most difficult of shots from there.
For these guys, that's bread and butter.
Oh, maybe a cup of tea with it.
How sweet it is.
That's another look at that.
See, square clubface, body wide open.
Guess the ball started nicely on line.
Yeah, he knew it.
Yeah, just collapses in off the right edge.
Day from the bunker.
Good thump.
Oh, it's going to be a ricky.
Take that, Ricky Fowler.
You got to keep trying your best all the time.
You never know what's going to happen.
Jason Day at the 9th.
Yeah, coming out of the heavy rough there.
Downhill all the way to the hole.
Wow.
Looked like three all the way after the tee shot.
Yeah.
He's a dead wrist guy, isn't he?
He just points it behind him.
No real wrist set.
Even added a little extra bit of slice into that one.
That was textbook, Nick.
You like what he said, fool?
Textbook perfect.
Trouble here for Jason Day.
Over the back of the fourth with virtually nothing here.
Frank, this is vintage Jason Day.
It's what he does.
Miracle worker here.
Oh, go ahead and do that.
Jay Day, scrambling man.
Third shot at the second.
Went for the par 5 and 2.
Had this left for a third.
Short game this year has been phenomenal.
Oh, down there is Jason Day.
How about that, Jason Day?
An eagle at the par 5.
One would say quite a comfortable shot
there for Jason.
Jason Day, greenside bunker.
Plenty of green to work with, but very slick going down.
And Day, that's how you make a four.
Wow.
Third shot at the par 4, 14th for Day.
Seeing a few go in today from around the greens.
Jason Day, I mentioned that he couldn't
see the flagstick from here.
So let's use some imagination.
It was really cool.
He's so good about it.
I just want to watch him.
Oh, bingo.
He knows every inch of this golf course
and took advantage 2 under for Day, who started 2 over.
Very fortunate the flagstick was in
and that there was a hole there, but it used it.
Bouncing off the stick, back to the front edge,
back into the hole.
Doesn't use any wrist in the bunker or chipping.
It has just amazing feel and touch,
and Jason Day buries it.
Well, that was a nice surprise.
A great shot, but don't expect to make that one.
I don't care who you are.
And an up and down here will get it done.
Impressive.
So Jason Day is this par putt away
from winning for the eighth time in his career.
And in the end, it is Jason Day who emerges from the pack
and wins the 2016 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Wire to wire.
