Khazān: A Guitar Piece Inspired by Autumn

The word Khazān means “autumn” in Persian, and the piece was written to capture that special atmosphere of the season: a time of transition, nostalgia, and quiet beauty. Autumn always feels like a moment suspended between warmth and cold, presence and absence, when nature slowly prepares for change.
In this piece I tried to reflect that feeling through melodic storytelling: gentle, flowing phrases that move like falling leaves, with small pauses and shifts in harmony that create a sense of movement and reflection.

I recorded this at Siccas Guitars on a beautiful Carsten Kobs 2025 Cedar Doubletop guitar. German luthier Carsten Kobs was among the first makers in Germany to adopt double top construction, focusing on lightweight design, structural efficiency, and maximum responsiveness.
