Fluffy Curd Cookies! For EASTER! Affordable, delicious cookies that melt in your mouth! Egg-Free Cookies! Curd cookies made from traditional German quark dough with vegetable oil!
INGREDIENTS:
440 g low-fat quark (Magerquark in Germany)
pinch of salt
16 g vanilla sugar
160 g sugar
200 g flavorless vegetable oil
160 ml milk
780 g flour
24 g baking powder
70-100 g melted butter for greasing half the cookies
70-100 g sugar for sprinkling
1 egg yolk + 3 tbsp milk for greasing the other half
confectioners' sugar sprinkles
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (360°F) on the middle rack, top-bottom setting, no convection, for about 11 minutes (depending on the size of the cookies). Then I bake the cookies for another minute at 180°C (360°F) on the medium rack using the Fan setting.
Each oven is very individual, so you should focus on the specifics of your oven, which can only be achieved through trial and error.
