This project was conceived as a peaceful family retreat — a sanctuary designed to create an atmosphere of calm, well-being, and warmth. Away from the noise and pressures of urban life, the house becomes a place of reconnection, rest, and meaningful shared moments.

The primary design challenge was achieving equilibrium between rustic authenticity and contemporary clarity. Rather than allowing one language to dominate, the concept carefully integrates both. Modern lines provide spatial order and visual lightness, while rustic elements introduce memory, texture, and emotional depth.

Special attention was given to highlighting heirloom pieces and objects with history. These elements serve as narrative anchors within the space, adding identity and personal resonance. The architecture does not compete with these stories — it frames and enhances them.

Materiality plays a central role in establishing the desired atmosphere. A palette of pale tones softens the interiors, maximizing natural light and reinforcing serenity. Wood introduces warmth and tactile comfort, while rustic stone flooring grounds the house with a sense of permanence and connection to nature.

Hydraulic tiles add artisanal character and subtle pattern, contributing visual richness without overwhelming the composition. Granilite surfaces introduce durability and understated elegance, balancing tradition with modern practicality.

The result is a cohesive environment where textures, materials, and memory coexist — a home that feels both timeless and contemporary, intimate yet refined, designed not just to be inhabited, but to be experienced slowly and intentionally.
