DHS to Police: Watch out for 'Lone-Wolf' Terror Attacks
The death toll from the shooting at a bar in Austin has risen to three. The Austin Police Department identified the victim as 30-year-old Jorge Pederson.
Following the shooting, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said authorities are seriously evaluating the possibility of Iranian sleeper cells in the state.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that her department is closely monitoring to thwart any potential threats to the homeland. A Department of Homeland Security memo tells law enforcement to watch out for “lone-wolf” terrorist attacks.
On Monday morning, the Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the military is on alert for possible sleeper cell attacks.
