Diarra Penalty Seals Away Win Leeds United 0 1 Sunderland AFC Premier League Highlights

Anton Stack, favourite to strike this one and he does strike it and it brings a good save from the Sunderland debutant. Elberg got down well and pushed it round for the corner. Had his angles right in terms of lining up his wall. It was his side of the goal all right and Elberg produced a corner for Sunderland, their first of the evening. Just over five minutes away from half-time and it's lifted high towards Dan Ballard who got the header down towards goal, didn't carry enough pace to trouble goalkeeper Karl Darlow in the end and cleared by Leeds and it's that man Dan Ballard who's causing the problems for the opposition. This one here, Maienda couldn't make contact with. 63 minutes played. Stack goes for the far post and turned home by Joe Roden. Well, well, well. It looked like it was heading wide. Well, on review it certainly was clear. Roden offside, it doesn't count. Sunderland are reprieved. The face bundled over, surely that's a free kick. Two arms in the back, play goes on, finds its way through to Granit Xhaka. Now Wilson is he door. He wants handball and plenty of Sunderland players are appealing as well and chasing down referee Stuart Atwell saying there was a clear arm in there. So there you have it. Can he beat Karl Darlow from 12 yards? Diarra has done it. Just the goalkeeper got a touch on it, but Diarra has scored from the penalty spot to the huge delight of that army of Sunderland fans. It's a big goal all right. It's Sunderland in front. Wow, what a five minutes of football after Leeds had a goal ruled out for offside.
