Hola! Erica here. Today I'm going to be reviewing two items from BagSmart.
This is the Faro collection. This is the Faro Light Backpack 0.4 and this is the
Faro Daypack 26. Normally I'm reviewing BagSmart's toiletry bags, other travel
items like carry-on rollers or travel backpacks. BagSmart's a great company
because they have great quality and great prices. Let's start this review off
with the Faro Light Backpack 0.4. Now this backpack is so pretty. They have so
many different colors. They have a black one too if you want something a little
bit more plain. This backpack weighs about 425 grams so in pounds it would be
0.94 pounds. This backpack can hold 20 liters and the material is water
resistant so if you're looking for a good day bag just to go hiking with or
if you want something to take to a coffee shop or maybe just something for
an overnight or just something really light, this is a really great bag. I'm
gonna pack this up real quick and show you how much it can fit as well as the
cool pockets. Look how pretty this bag is. It is so nice. So let me go through the
comfort of the bag. It has a chest strap right here which is adjustable. It also
has this little bungee part right here and then this part is not bungee so if
you're moving you do get a little bit of give through here. I love that the
backpack straps are padded and they also have some clips through here so you
could put like a light bulb or something. You have like a little lantern like this.
You could also put like maybe like your JBL speakers on the back right here. This
backpack is super comfortable. I weighed it earlier and it was about 14 pounds but
you'll see what I put in here to make it 14 pounds. It stays nice and flush against
my back. You can adjust it through here but you can just pull it tighter. When I
first got this backpack in the mail I didn't have anything in the backpack so
I felt like this part cut into my neck but once you put actual items in the
backpack the weight holds it down and then the backpack straps are at the
perfect location on your shoulders. I also had my husband wear this backpack
and he found it super comfortable. He liked that it hugged his back right here.
16.9 pounds. It has my laptop in here that's why as well as like a full water
bottle. This backpack is super sturdy. I just love it so much. Okay let's start
with the exterior pockets of this backpack. So it has nice water bottle
holders right here and then you can also if your water bottle is tall enough you
can also clip it through with this little buckle and then tighten it like
that. I love the mesh material right here. It's really pretty, nice and flexible but
not that kind that's gonna like rip after you like stick one thing in there.
I would however leave your water bottle to a more circular shape or oval shape
instead of a rectangle one just so you don't stretch out the fabric but this
mesh material is really soft. The other side right here I just have some bug
spray. Picard and bug spray is the best. Way better than DEET. If you go camping
you know what I'm talking about. So these are just nice quick accessible pockets
and they're deep enough so if you're like shaking your bag it's not like it's
gonna fall out. Also another thing to note about the water bottle holder here
you can't fit like a Stanley Cup or a really big hydro flask or a really big
Nalgene. This is just like a standard a little bit bigger than a standard water
bottle but what I did fit was a bottle of Sriracha here and a bottle of
Sriracha is quite thick. So here's a normal water bottle, here's a Sriracha
bottle. So that just slid real smooth in there. I guess the tip doesn't really
stay but my Sriracha bottle does not fall out if I'm shaking it. On the bottom
part right here it has two straps that are not elastic. This is for if you're
maybe going camping or maybe you're going hiking or if you have a jacket or
something. I have a microfiber towel right here so let's just say I took a
shower at the beach or something and I just wanted to dry it on the outside of
my bag. You can totally do that and hold it like this. Super cute. So I do like
that this bag has so many different options of where you can hook things. If
you have a flashlight you can put it here. They have a lot of little loops
that you can put little clippies on all the way down on both of the backpack
straps as well as this nice rope handle here. Let me just give you a little
close-up of the backpack straps right here. So the backpack straps are nice and
padded. They also have this mesh material where you can breathe. Now I would say
the material is not the softest softest but it is quite soft but if you wanted
it extra extra soft just throw your bag in the washing machine like a couple
times. This bag is also washable so you could do that and then the material will
loosen up or just wear and tear over time. This material will get softer. Take
a look at the superior stitching. I love backpack reviews because I'm super picky
but look at the triangle design right here. Triangle means that when you're
pulling the backpack here that it's not gonna rip from inside the bag. Any
backpack that doesn't have a triangle that's not a good backpack. Nice and
reinforced. This is really sturdy material so it's not like that kind of
nylon that's just gonna rip. This is like really nice nylon material. Earlier when
I had my husband try this out he was like oh I really like this handle right
here it's kind of cool and then we're thinking we're kind of wondering like
how sturdy it really is. We went in from the inside and we do see that it's very
reinforced. You can see all the reinforced stitching through here. So it's not like
this rope is just hanging on through thin nylon material. It's actually sewn
like into the structure and most of the time when I hold backpacks I just hold
it like an actual backpack not at the handle up here but it is quite sturdy.
This is nice and padded but also mesh so it gets nice airflow. There's a trolley
pull-through right here so if you wanted to travel with this bag and have it as
your personal item you could totally connect it to your carry-on roller like
that. Moving on to the front pocket here just amazing zippers. BagSmart is known
for their amazing zippers. I'm a big zipper person. I'm just gonna show you
what's inside. So this is like a day bag stuff so it could be whatever you want
for the day. So here's snack one. Macro bar. Lemon one is so good. Almond macro
bar. Oatmeal macro bar. I have just my cube, my anchor cube for my computer. I
also have my cable for my computer. Element raspberry salt and element
raspberry salt. Also there's a clasp up here. I didn't really feel like it was
necessary to have so I'm just gonna open that. Then I have this zipper up
top and this is where I like to keep my battery pack. This is my anchor battery
pack. I like this one because it has a retractable USB-C cable. Then I have my
AirPods right here. This is my new AirPod case because it looks like petroleum
jelly and at first glance people aren't just gonna take it so it's like my
anti-theft AirPods case. And then the last thing I have in here is my Clip-A-Bag
hanger. So this is if I wanted to hold my bag on a table just like that. This top
pocket is fleece lined which is really nice. Instead of having to hold just the
metal part to unzip your bag, it's just nice to have this little string with the
rubber. It's just so pretty. Adds a really nice like rugged touch. Very good. Opening
up this zipper here. Very good. So you have to remember this is a day bag so
it's not like a travel backpack where everything stays upright and rigid. So if
I do open this and I had all those items in the front pocket, it will just go like
that which is totally fine because your stuff is very secure. And the way that
the pockets are designed, it's not like you put this down and then all your
stuff just goes to the bottom. They have a good pocket up top. They have a good
pocket right here. So you saw how much I had in those pockets. The next thing in
here, I put three cans of soup. One, two, three. And this is why my bag was so
heavy and that's why my face is kind of sweaty. Then also I have my tripod selfie
stick. I always bring this with me wherever I go because you just never
know if you need a good picture. I have my jacket right here because it is a day
bag. But if you wanted to, you could put a bunch of clothes in there. You can bring
a pair of shoes. Then there's also two mesh pockets right here. Now the mesh
pockets are just like the water bottle pockets. They're just so smooth, nice and
stretchy but really good quality. This elastic is the kind that's gonna stay
elastic for a while. Not like the one where you put it in the closet for like
a few months and it's already creakily crackly. You could put so many things in
these two mesh pockets. They're identical size. I just decided to put my lotion.
This is like the best lotion ever. I just did two of them. That's also why my
bag was so heavy. But honestly if you just put normal people things in the bag
it's not gonna be like over 15 pounds and everything's gonna be so much
lighter. The last thing I have in this day bag is just my laptop. Now this is a
14 inch laptop sleeve. Pull that out. I have my laptop right in here. The only
thing is you have to make sure you have a laptop case when you are carrying this
day bag only because the back part is squishy but this part here in front it's
not squishy. It's just the nylon polyester material so if you have clothes
in here then your laptop will be okay. But if you're someone that likes to have
a laptop case like me then I would say put your laptop case in this laptop
sleeve. Also the elastic is really nice through here as well. The other thing is
you kind of have a secret pocket through here so if you wanted to like slip some
cash in there or some important papers you totally can. But they also have like
this removable foam thing. This is to keep more of the structure of the
backpack but I actually found that I didn't quite need it. So it is removable
and it is wipeable. It's just like foamy material but the kind that is like
water-resistant foamy instead of the one that like absorbs everything. Okay so
this is the Faro light backpack 0.4. Definitely one of my favorite day bags
that I have now and then I'm also gonna show you the Faro day pack 26. Let's get
to that right now. This bag is also pretty cool. The only thing is there's
only two colors so it's either this color or the black. This backpack is
about 1.7 pounds empty. The material is also made of nylon and is water-resistant.
As far as the sizing goes you can fit 26 liters in here. Alright this
backpack is nice and packed and I just wanted to show you what I put in this
bag. So it also has this chest strap right here. Stretchy material and then
the material that does not stretch. The back does a pretty good job of staying
flush against my back but it also has these little straps right here to put
around your waist. Now I did not find this the most comfortable because it's
not like a thick one but the bag does stay on a little bit better if you have
this waist strap on. But if you don't like how it looks or you don't like it
when it goes like that all low and hangy and dangly you can actually just take it
off and then voila it is off. My husband also tried this on. He's about six foot
tall and he actually looked quite good in it as well. They have this like
cell phone thing right here that you can velcro onto the backpack. It's kind of
cool. Let's just say it has a very functional look when you wear it so I
might not wear it. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and it actually fit my phone
perfectly. It has a little clippy right here. I just say it kind of looks a very
functional. That's why I probably would want the black backpack. Also the velcro
is really really strong. This material is super good quality and I love Vagsmart so much.
Okay let's quickly go through this backpack. Okay you have compression
straps right here so you could pull that quite tight if you would like. Unclip. I
like that these mesh pockets are already tall. So here's my water bottle. Not even
falling out. Sriracha safe and sound as well. Everything is really nice and mesh
like. Backpack straps are breathable and padded. They also have loops through here
so you could put your speaker or your little light bulbs and flashlights on
there. The only thing this backpack does not have and I wish it did even though
it's a day bag not a travel backpack but it had some kind of trolley pull through
so you could put it on top of the suitcase, the carry-on roller or check-in
bag. That would be a nice additional touch. Great zippers. I love that this
backpack has like this hook right here. So I'm going to open this up and this is
actually the laptop compartment. They say that this laptop compartment can fit
a 15 inch laptop. However my laptop is a 13 inch and there's plenty of space
because this laptop case is bigger than a 13 inch and there's still a lot of
space. So if you had a 16 inch that should fit in here just fine. Also if you
didn't want to have a laptop case this part through here is really squishy and
then this part through here is nice and squishy. Alright moving on to the front
part of this backpack. This is water-resistant material. Nylon material.
It can also go in the washing machine. So there's bungees right here. So if you
really wanted to you can bungee like microfiber towel, your jacket or
something. You can put that here in the front. There you go. You got two pairs of
slippers or you can put sandals here. You just tighten that down and you're good
to go. Then right behind this bungee cable you have this nice clip right here
and then you have a thin area where you could put I don't know like post-its. I
just put my macro bar in here. Just some examples but the mesh quality is really
nice and it's the same as the water bottle holder on this backpack as well
as the other backpack. I also like that it has this little clip right here. Not
like anything would fall out but it's just kind of a good touch. Alright
opening up this front pocket I have a mesh zipper right here and this can go
down about halfway right through here. I just put here oh look at that nice
quality. Nice and soft mesh but this is the mesh that has a little bit bigger
holes but it's not very rough. Very nice good lightweight quality. So I have my
USB-C cable for my computer as well as my Anker Cube. Close that up. Then it has
two nice pockets. It goes down to about right here so if you really wanted to
you could put stuff all the way down into this bag. Like let me show you my
protein bar. Here's my protein bar all the way down there. So if you wanted to
slip some items all the way down you can. But here in this pocket I just put my
elements there. Put my Anker charger and then there's another zipper right here.
Really good quality. Here I just put my AirPods as well as my clip-a-bag hanger.
The possibilities are endless what you could put in this bag. Okay the last
zipper in here I just have my three cans of regresso soup as well as my jacket.
And then I just decided to put a whole soccer ball in here. If you wanted to you
could put two soccer balls in here but I wanted to show you that you can still
after a soccer ball you can fit in a lot of clothes. So if you wanted to use this
as like an actual weekend bag it actually wouldn't be a bad idea just to
have a few packing cubes and put that in here. But yeah a soccer ball. Think about
how much clothes that is. So this backpack the Faro Daypack 26. Really nice
quality. Alrighty so this is the Faro day bag collection. I just love it so much
especially this one because it's so pretty and it fits a lot. So take a look
at the colors on this one. I really like black in this one. So if you're looking
for a good day bag, good travel item, a carry-on, travel backpack, toiletry bags,
purses, or other tote bags I definitely recommend giving BagSmart a try. Great
quality, great prices. Thank you so much for joining me with this review video.
I'm going to put more videos on the screen for you right here.
