The Falling Star Florence Pgh and her brother Toby Sebastian who joins the season 5 cast for Game of Thrones talks to Red Carpet News at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards 2015.
We were at the last awards and now we're here and I get to watch and watch
everyone come down the red carpet. I'm quite excited to see what's happening
and it's going to be a great evening. Brought Tobes along.
Toby, it's fantastic to have you here tonight. I think fans are obviously going to get to see you
soon. I think Game of Thrones, are you involved in the next season of that?
It's true, yes. It's very exciting. I've been welcomed into a huge,
very exciting world of fantasy. I'm not looking forward to this one seeing me and
tearing my head off. Obviously, it's a very complicated and big world of Game of Thrones.
Can you tell us a bit about who you're playing and where you're going to fit into that?
I'm going to be playing Trystane Martell, who is Pedro Pascal, who played Oberyn and his nephew.
We're going to the Kingdom of Dorne. My father is played by Alexander Siddig.
We're basically seeing Dorne for the first time. That's why it's exciting.
How much of you are we going to get to see in the next season?
You'll see me in a few episodes and then we'll see what happens.
With Game of Thrones, you never know.
Obviously, it's the biggest show on TV. Why do you think it is such a phenomenon?
How do you think the next season compares to what we've already enjoyed so far?
I spoke to you about this. I think it does something clever how
you have 10 or 15 or 20 characters at the beginning that everyone loves. Then slowly,
over time, they will bring in new characters. Then to the point where we fall in love with
these new characters. Then they kill off some of our original favorite characters.
I think that's what makes people keep watching. Because normally in a show,
if you're going to kill someone off, you don't normally replace them in the same way.
It's very diverse what it shows in the different kingdoms. I think
most of all, the acting. The actors are really, really pucker and fantastic.
I've explained time and time again. I owe my entire experience to Maisie and Carol.
I was introduced to it by Maisie. I was obviously a bit nervous at the beginning. It was my first
film. To have someone as great as her and as young as her to explain it piece by piece,
I couldn't have asked for a better person to lead me along the way. I'll say that again and again
and again. It's all down to her and Carol. We're hoping to get to see lots more of you.
Have you got anything else you're working on at the moment?
Couple of bits in the pipeline, but nothing certain. It's quite difficult because the film's
not out yet. The public hasn't seen it. A few audience have. I'm waiting for April to come.
Fingers crossed for whatever happens. You were there on the premiere day.
There was about 14 women standing on the red carpet. They were all just as important as
one another. The film is based around young girls that go through just the same amount of things as
we go through nowadays. Pregnancy, abortion, all that lot. It's basically opening up a whole new
storyline that everyone needs to have a nice little inkling about. It's a great fun film.
If you've seen it, you've seen it. Of course you've seen it. Oh joy.
