#SaturnNeptune#Astrology2026#Geopolitics What happens when the Saturn Neptune Conjunction resets the global order? We are living through a rare 36-year astrological cycle that historically signals the collapse of empires, the birth of new technologies, and the restructuring of geopolitical reality.
In this episode of World Astrology Report, Dan Waites is joined by S.J. Anderson to decode the upcoming Saturn Neptune Conjunction in Aries. By analyzing historical precedents—from 1882, 1917, 1953, and 1989—we reveal the patterns defining our current moment: the end of the US Hegemony, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the return of Great Power Competition between Russia, China, and the West.
We explore the ""myth-breaking"" nature of this transit, investigating the Epstein Files, the shift toward Techno-Feudalism, and the emergence of AI Agents and compute sovereignty as the new oil.
🔮 IN THIS VIDEO:
The 36-Year Cycle: How Saturn-Neptune conjunctions dictate the rise and fall of the New World Order.
Historical Case Studies: The connection between these alignments and WWI (1917), the Cold War (1953), and the Fall of the Soviet Union (1989).
Geopolitics 2026: The end of the ""Rules-Based Order,"" the fragmentation of NATO, and the new alignments of Russia and China.
The AI Revolution: Why 2026 is the true birth year of the AI Age, featuring autonomous agents and swarm technology.
The Shadow Side: A deep dive into the resurgence of Eugenics, Transhumanism, and the ""Might Makes Right"" philosophy of the coming Aries era.
This is a time of myth-breaking and myth-making. Right now in front of our eyes we're watching
an old world order disintegrate and a new one take its place. It's yet another loud
vindication of astrology because there's an historic conjunction of Saturn and Neptune
forming in the sky right now to accompany the historic events that are happening on the ground.
It's chaotic, it's confusing and it's a little hard to make sense of what's really going on.
That's why looking back into the past to the events that accompanied previous Saturn-Neptune
conjunctions can help to make sense of what's happening now. And so in this episode I'm joined
once again by my longtime collaborator S.J. Anderson who's going to bring us some deep
insights into this remarkable astrological event and the times that are accompanying it.
We've made it to maybe the most important transit of our time and I think as I've gotten closer to
this transit and sat with this transit it's become very clear to me that there's some heavy
grave powerful new beginnings that are being seeded right now with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction.
It's heavier and heavier and more profound as I get closer and closer to this moment and I've
done a lot more research and have sat with the energies yeah a realization of wow this is going
to change our world dramatically. It's something that it's very hard to oversell or overestimate
because of how potent powerful and deeply foundational it has been in the past.
This is World Astrology Report, I'm your host Dan Waits and welcome to another journey into
the past to understand the present and the future. Saturn and Neptune meet every 36 years.
We're going to focus on two core aspects of what these conjunctions represent in this video. The
first is that they seem to reset the world order and the myths that we tell ourselves about how
the world works. And the second is that they're accompanied by new technologies, particularly
those that are rolled out to the masses. But before we look at the present time, we're going
to look back into the past so that we can see the patterns of history and better identify them as
they're expressing themselves now. And so if you go back to 1882, you had a conjunction of Saturn
and Neptune on the 12th of May 1882, 16 degrees Taurus. But there is also a sense of looking at
when Saturn and Neptune were co-present together, meaning in the same sign, because often these
events are triggered during the co-presence as much as they're triggered very close to the
conjunction. And that 1882 emergence was so potent to decide future reality. You had in May of 1882,
the Triple Alliance was formed in Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Italy joining geopolitically
such that if one is threatened, all are threatened. This age of alliances and nations that emerges
during the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and co-presence culminates in peaks by the time
you get to the next Saturn-Neptune conjunction in 1917 and the co-presence that extends even
in the 1919 with World War I and the resolutions of World War I, which is the destruction of that
Triple Alliance system and the birth of the system that comes after. You also had, from the
technological perspective, Edison's Pearl Street electric station open. It's the first commercial
power plant. It's in New York City. Think about how important that is to have a plant that's
sending electricity to a city so people can tap into the electric grid and power their lives.
Saturn is certainly a planet you can associate with science and technology. It's less about
the inspiration that can give rise to new technologies, which is Uranus's domain,
and more about the slow process of empirical observation of reality that leads to new
understanding. It's about building things. Neptune is a planet we can associate with collectivism
and universality. It seems to me that a lot of the technologies that we see coming online at
Saturn-Neptune conjunctions are things that connect people together or that function through networks.
The electricity grid is a good example. The next time Saturn and Neptune come together,
conjoin and have a co-presence is in 1916, 17 October, Saturn entered Leo. The conjunction of
Saturn and Neptune was at four degrees of Leo on the 1st of August 1917,
and then they remained there co-present until 12 August 1919 when Saturn entered Virgo. So you had
a period from late 1916 until August 1919 where Saturn and Neptune were in Leo, creating a new
reality, laying the foundation of the possible, and setting us up for whole new worlds to come,
including maybe the peak year 1917 August when they can join. Just one conjunction that cycle.
But check out what happens during this time that lays the foundation for our whole new world. You
had the Battle of the Somme, November 1916, a million plus casualties, the real darkness of
the world that emerged at that time. Tanks were used in combat for the first time in the Battle
of the Somme, and that's the idea that the technology and the geopolitics kind of merge
in this sort of war-like expression. In 1917, you had the February Revolution where Tsar Nicholas
abdicates. 1917 November, you had the Bolshevik Revolution, the October Revolution, which
the Bolsheviks arise and they emerge, and out of the Bolsheviks taking power, the USSR is formed a
few years later. That becomes a central component of the next 35-year cycle, and then the following
35-year cycle until the USSR collapses in 1989 with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction then.
And so you see we have new foundations emerging with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction or co-presence
that then define cycles following, sometimes multiple cycles following.
The concept is that this conjunction can fundamentally change reality, can formulate
and layer new structures that everything will depend on going forward. You have the Armistice
sign on 11-11-1918, World War I ends, and then they're still co-present in the 1919,
so they still continue on creating these new foundations. Paris Peace Conference,
Treaty of Versailles signed, and then the Weimar Constitution adopted in Germany,
all while that co-presence still exists. That is again this notion, Saturn and Neptune come together
in the 19-teens and lay the foundation for the world that will follow for the 35-year cycle
or cycles beyond. This is what kids are taught in grade school, that World War I's resolution
leads to World War II. In November 1917, you get the Balfour Declaration where there's a promise
by Britain to give a so-called homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine written to Lord
Rashad. We're still living in the aftermath of that. I mean, that's front and center on
our contemporary moment. That peaked last summer as Saturn and Neptune continued to be together
in Aries or began to be together in Aries. This was a front and center thing. Is there a genocide
in Palestine? What will the world do? What are the new layers being set up now in our world
related to Palestine? Well, that has roots in 1917 with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction.
That's some of the deeper history of these conjunctions. Let's move forward in time to
the conjunctions in 1952 and 1953 in the early years of the Cold War. If you're enjoying this

to tell you quickly about my next members live stream. It's going to be a mega stream on the
Epstein files. We'll look at the astrology of the moment and of Epstein himself, as well as some of
the figures caught up in this story. And we'll try to dig deeper into their meaning and significance
by looking at longer planetary cycles and trends. The stream is taking place at 9pm Eastern Time on
Friday the 27th of February. You can purchase entry on the live streams page of my website.
Entry is free for website members or YouTube members at correspondent tier. And signing up
gives you access to my entire back catalog of streams and exclusive content too. So there's
that. All right, let's get back to it. In 1952 and 53, Saturn and Neptune conjoined in the sign of
Libra, the sign of the scales. These conjunctions came as the Cold War was getting going. That whole
period was defined by tension and contention between the US and the USSR. You might think
here about the idea of the balance of power with two great entities in opposition, each striving
to avoid being outweighed by the other. The thing about this period in 1950 to 1953 is the Korean
War. And this is almost a forgotten war. The seeds that are planted during this time really set up
the next 35 years because you had an idea of an armistice or a stalemate. The Korean War never
resolved. They just stopped fighting. And then you had this idea of kind of a permanent war
with the USSR sponsoring North Korea and America sponsoring South Korea. It's a proxy war and a
permanent proxy war which defines the period for the next 35 years. Another country that was in
the news back then and now is Iran. On 19 August 1953, CIA-backed coup on behalf of MI6 ousts the
democratically elected leader of Iran, Mossadegh. And that was MI6 sending the CIA to overthrow this
government on behalf of British Petroleum to capture the oil so that that oil revenue could
flow to the West. Of course, they installed their puppet. And that is a defining feature of some of
the next cycle. But I think it's more evocative of notions of Cold War, of subterfuge, of intelligence
being central, and of running the world through proxy. The technology from this period is so
potent. On 14 June 1951, UNIVAC delivered the first commercial computer. So commercial computers
become available during this time. Talk about a new foundation and talk about relating to the
electricity of 1882 and Edison putting the first electric grid online in New York City. Well, now
we've got computers being delivered. Then we have the detonations of the hydrogen bombs. The U.S.
detonates the first hydrogen bomb, Ivy Mike, on 1 November 1952. And the Soviet Union detonates its
first hydrogen bomb on 12 August 1953. So right in the pocket of these triple pass conjunctions
of Saturn and Neptune and Libra. And what we have emerging clearly is this bipolar world driven by
superpowers, which have the most deadly weapon known to man at the time. And there it is, right?
That defines the cultural geopolitical context for the next 35 years until the fall of the Berlin
Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union at another Saturn-Neptune conjunction period in 1989.
So the other thing about this period from a technological perspective, which is so fascinating,
is that 1951 U.S. television ownership explodes. 1.5 million to 15 million sets. And so it's during
this time you get the entry of television. The first commercial computer was made available and
the television was made available. And then we saw another round of Saturn-Neptune conjunctions in
1989 and those brought that Libra era to an end. This was actually a triple conjunction with the
Promethean planet of Uranus. So it had more of a dramatic and fast acting feel to it than is typical.
And a period around that conjunction brought the world we live in today, or at least were living in
until recently, into being. Basically, as I've already covered, you get the collapse of the Berlin
Wall, you get the breakup of the USSR, you get a whole bunch of huge events that set reality up for
the next cycle. New geopolitical structures, old ones die, new ones are born, and new cultural and
technological emergences. Tim Berners-Lee proposes the World Wide Web in March 1989, same year.
Think of technology, Uranus, a structure, Saturn, and connectivity, Neptune. The conjunction
happened in the sign of Capricorn, which as an Earth sign has to do with how commerce is organized.
You get the Nintendo Game Boy released April 1989, so you can see computers are becoming more
personalized. Laser foundation, it's highly relevant in our world now. We all have a Game
Boy-like device that's way more powerful than a Game Boy in our hands. Surfing the net, right?
That all comes from the 1989 Neptune-Saturn conjunction, building out new worlds and new
realities technologically. This was after the conjunctions had happened, so the triple-pass
conjunctions, the final one is 13 November 1989. But just in the aftermath of that into 1990,
you had Mandela released from prison, you had Bush on September 11th, 1990, saying that there's a
new world order in a speech to Congress. It's a big idea, it's a new world order, and he's talking
about the unipolar age of the American-dominated globe. Also published in 1989 that summer was
Francis Fukuyama, his article, The End of History, proposing that the liberal democratic institutions
win. I think this period from 1989 up through the present that we're living in is defined by
like a rules-based order, a so-called Western democratic rules-based order, which is really
proxy for America runs everything and does everything, and if you don't do what America
says, or America and its powerful allies, I don't think it's just America, I don't mean to
pick on America, but effectively you have a unipolar Pax Americana that is operating under
this shroud of rules-based order Western democracy. All right, let's now focus on the present and
consider what the current conjunction is bringing to the world. What I've noticed on social media
is that there seem to be three main conversations going on right now. One of them is about the
Epstein files, one is about geopolitics including peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia and
a potential US attack on Iran, and one is about AI. And I think all three have to do with this
Saturn-Neptune conjunction. The Epstein files, in my opinion, are hugely important. They're revealing
the nature of the utterly amoral power structures that stand above politics in the world today.
They've revealed that the West and its leaders have been compromised and influenced to act against
the interests of their countries. They've laid bare the moral bankruptcy of the Davos class and
everything it stands for. If you're playing those files and their revelations down, I think that's
a mistake. Bear in mind that they're coming at a time of this massively important conjunction.
That right there should clue you into the fact that they're very important. But I already covered
this subject in another video on this channel so I suggest you head there for more if you haven't
seen that one before you join this stream later this month. What we tend to find in astrology is that
people and entities are born at particular conjunctions or aspects between planets
are strongly affected when the same planets come into contact again later.
Interestingly, many of the people making the news right now were born at those Saturn-Neptune
conjunctions of 1952 and 53. Chinese President Xi Jinping is one of them, as is Russian President
Vladimir Putin. So was Jeffrey Epstein, and so was Peter Mandelson, his good buddy, whose appointment
as a U.S. ambassador for the UK may well end up bringing down Kirstein's government. Another of
these figures is a certain Tony Blair. The astrology leads me to suspect that a lot of trouble is in
the post of Tony. His new labor project is in the process of being, let's just say, critically
re-evaluated. But we're also seeing tectonic shifts in geopolitics. So we're witnessing and living
through one of the most important events to seed reality, to lay a new foundation in our reality,
both geopolitically and technologically. And it's so exciting because most humans will only
ever see two of these, 35 plus 35 is 70. So it's such an exciting, rare thing for a human being
to be living through. You get to live through that. I get to live through that. What an exciting
thing to be witnessing a new world that's being born and geopolitical and technological emergencies
that create the reality that will be here until 2061 when Saturn and Neptune can join in Gemini,
whatever that will be to end what's being born now, some of what's being born now. So
you're here for this. It's super exciting. Let's continue. What I think is ending from the old
cycles is the notion of the unipolar American hegemony under the shroud of rules-based order.
Whether you get a more fascistic form of like an American unleashed, dominant, violent,
not following rules explicitly, we're seeing some of that emerge, or whether it's just pure
multipolarity and there is not a single American power left. It's China rising, Russia asserting
itself, and it becomes clear that going out from here, we don't have America being able just to
intervene whenever it wants, wherever it wants, under the shroud or cover of the rules-based order
or cover of democracy. Russia famously resonates to this cycle. My research has shown me that these
conjunctions tend to bring redefining of the Russian border or to Russia's sphere of influence.
And as SJ and I covered in this old video, when these conjunctions have happened in Aries,
Russia has tended to win victories. Think of 1703 and the founding of St. Petersburg and 1380,
the Battle of Kulikovo. We received quite a lot of abuse online for saying that back in 2022.
All we're doing is looking at patterns and making educated conjectures.
Frankly, some people are so used to consuming propaganda, they think that's all there is.
Anyway, what's Russia this year? I think we may well see its frontier with the West
recrystallized post-Cold War institutional order, where Russia's down on its luck and NATO can just
take over Europe as much as it wants. And China is used to exploit the labor of the Chinese
for Western capital ingratiation. This is kind of what we think about as the post-Cold War
order, 89 through the present. That's ending, it seems to be ending. I mean, certainly
China has emerged. The economy of China has graduated. It's quite mature and they've
asserted themselves and their kind of domain over Asia. Now, another of the countries that
resonates to the Saturn-Neptune cycle is Japan. The modern Japanese state was reestablished when
the Allied occupation ended at a Saturn-Neptune conjunction in 1952. In 1989, the Japanese Emperor
Hirohito died and the Emperor Akihito took over. That year, the Japanese Nikkei index reached a
peak, but the economy never returned to those heights. And now in 2026, the conservative
Japanese Prime Minister Sane Takahichi has just won a landslide victory. One way people are
interpreting this election is as a resounding rejection by the Japanese of liberalism and
multiculturalism, which Takahichi vocally opposes. She's also promising to revise Article 9 of the
Japanese constitution, which says that Japan will not maintain the military. So Japan is probably
re-militarizing and this is a big shift. Of course, so is Germany, Japan's World War II ally.
So it looks like we're returning to an era of great power competition. Think again of Ares,
this sign of the exercise and expression of the will and of power. Of course, the rise of China
is part of this story. Chinese President Xi Jinping just this month called for the Chinese
currency, the yuan, to become a global reserve currency for international trade. So that's
geopolitics, but there are also very interesting things happening in the tech world. It's been
clear for some time that some kind of milestone relating to AI was going to come in 2026 and the
big question has been, what will it be? We had the birth of the web the last time Saturn and Neptune
came together in Capricorn. So what is now ending as it relates to that birth and what's
being born or seeded now that will be a new form of technology? And clearly these are AI concepts
and AI tools and technologies that are being born right here, 2025, 2026, new tech that will define
the next cycle. It's starting to look very much like all the hype about AGI by 2026 was bullshit
by hype merchants like Sam Altman. It was designed to stimulate investment in AI companies. I think
the solar eclipse of September 2025 in Virgo signaled that the popping of the AI bubble is
coming soon, either this year or 2027. But we have seen a seemingly big development in 2026.
One of the biggest stories that came out recently has been this MOLT book or an AI agent swarm
technology that comes online here just days after Neptune entered Aries, literally two or three days.
And it's so profoundly important because if we're looking for like a Thomas Edison style
new electric grid technology, what could it be? Well, it is, I think, AI agents, at least partially
from what we know now. These AI agents are operating autonomously or semi-autonomously.
They're operating continuously with the right programming. And then now these agents communicate
together and these open-claw AIs are just running continuously building and doing and making at the
behest and instruction of their human masters. What I find interesting here is the resonance of this
theme to the sign of Aries, which is the first sign of the zodiac and carries with it the idea of
emergence and birth. And also it's a martial sign, so it relates to desire and action. That fits very
well with the idea of agents, which are quite literally programs that take action on behalf of
humans. One of the aspects of Saturn-Neptune in combination that we should keep in mind is that
there seems to be a certain trickiness or slipperiness about what happens under its
auspices and how to interpret things. Things happen that are difficult to define and we get a variety
of interpretations of them. And so we have a situation now where certain voices are crying
loudly that we're awakening some all-powerful artificial entity that's going to replace us all,
while others are saying it's all no big deal. My guess is the truth is probably somewhere between
those two extremes. AI on the upside can help extend the reach. I mean you can go farther,
you can maybe do more, you can have multiple AIs thinking for you or researching for you.
Everybody's got PhD level researchers at your fingertips. You just say go research something
and it comes back with a report that's really good and improving every day. And so it will
extend our capacity as human beings. This is one maybe light side of what's being born here. We're
looking for new paradigms, new emergences, new ways of life. This is the archetype of Aries. The
birth of the new, the breakthrough, the seed breaking ground and coming out of its shell
and then the beginning of the plant that emerges. That's what Aries is. And so at any layer or level
we're looking for this idea of the new birth.
