William and Kate s Beautiful St David s Day Video Full Welsh Message Daffodils

Hello and welcome back to Royal Insider News. Today is March 1st, 2026, St David's Day, and Prince William and Princess Catherine have just dropped the most heartwarming Instagram video that's melting hearts across Wales and beyond. In a beautiful video posted to their official at Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account this morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales delivered a joint message entirely in Welsh, complete with English subtitles for the rest of us. Fans are absolutely loving it. Royal watchers are calling it a class act and praising Catherine's impressive pronunciation. William has spoken Welsh before, but seeing them both together, looking so relaxed and genuine on the Windsor estate, is just perfect for celebrating Wales's patron saint. And let's talk about Princess Catherine's stunning look. She's radiant, as always. In the video, she wore a chic pleated houndstooth silk midi dress by Alessandra Rich, a re-wear that fans adore for its timeless elegance, paired with her signature Cartier Trinity earrings and a new necklace. But the real star accessory, those bright yellow daffodils pinned proudly on both of them. Daffodils are the national flower of Wales, symbolising new beginnings, hope and rebirth, perfect for St David's Day. They also represent joy and positivity, which ties beautifully into the couple's warm, heartfelt message. Catherine always chooses her outfits with such thoughtfulness and this one screams spring and Welsh pride. This comes right after their recent visit to Powys in Wales, where they toured community spots like the Hanging Gardens, met excited school children, even stopping in the rain to chat, and celebrated the incredible volunteer spirit there. William and Catherine clearly have a deep connection to Wales. It's not just titles, it's personal. What do you think? Did this Welsh message make your day?
